I'm now a 36 year old wizard weeaboo neckbeard who've never moved out of his parents house.
I'm not really into the whole waifu thing though, a lot of anime women appeal to me for sure, but a lot of other characters do as well. The element of escapism is what does it for me, and when I go about my day I tend to animefy everything I do, imagining myself as some character in the sort of perfect drawn setting.
I guess maybe it's all a defense mechanism against that strong desire to just wrap my shit up and quietly sink through the floorboards to never be seen or heard from again.
