Dinosaur thread
Pic related, this is a Tyrannosaur. The largest ones got to be about 12 meters long and 6 meters tall (that's as tall as a giraffe!!!) It weighed up to 18.5 metric tons, that's nearly 3 large elephants!
Notice the eyes are on the front of it's head, giving it binocular vision. Clearly, this monster was a predator. And not just any predator, scientists theorize it might be the strongest animal to ever live in terms of it's bite-force, clamping down with a force of up to 230,000 Newtons (or 23 metric tons of force). It could rip apart lesser creatures with ease.
The T-rex (that's what we call it) had a highly developed sense of smell, and probably roamed in packs to hunt. It wasn't as awesome as it looks though, new theories suggest that these creatures probably were covered in feathers.
