I've been very suicidal since I hit puberty. I was sexually abused as a child, but not by my family. Once my family discovered I was sexually abused they home schooled me and sheltered me until I was 16 rendering me socially retarded. I have depression and anxiety and I'm a social outcast. But still I haven't committed suicide because my family loves me and I couldn't do that to them. For example /v/ is a great place to talk about cartoons and discussions of such are perfectly civil. But the moment you try to talk about a game one of three things will happen:
