not true. I smoked weed daily for 3 years and it used to have that effect on me but towards the end of my time with weed it intensified all negative feelings. Anxiety, self doubt, paranoia all skyrocketed when smoking so thats why I had to quit. Kinda a bummer. I really miss the good times.
