That was quite a tame example, lets go for something more personal.


Situation: You're about to go to a party with lots of people you dont know, there will be all kinds of people there, and your one friend (the one that invited you) is likely to be occupied for the evening.

A hardcore Kek worshipping Robot has already disregarded this example because they 'dont have any friends' and would never go, or get invited to a party.

A negative, external thinker is likely to be worried about things out of their control, such as judgement from others, rejection, exclusion, etc.

A positive, internal thinker is likely to think to themselves that this evening is going to be 'fucking sick', and will look forward to meeting lots of new people and having a great time - they may even boost their ego by saying to themselves: "I got invited to a big party, I must be a fun person to be around!", this thought process will further increase their confidence for the evening.

A religious person may pray that the evening goes well, but may still be prone to negative external thoughts which will hamper their ability to socialise, they lack confidence because of how they've mentally prepared for the evening.

So, with these examples in mind (ignoring the kek worshipper), the person most likely to pull, or have a good time is the positive, internal thinker. The religious person may have a shite time, but because of their devotion to their religion, they dont blame that, instead they feel hopeless, and maybe blame themselves. The negative, external thinker will blame themselves for having 'iredeemable' qualities and habits, like being ugly, maybe they smell - they will also blame the party attendees for being boring, or disinterested.

Regardless of which thought process is the closest to the truth, the person that will come out happiest is the positive internal thinker.


So 'what now?' you ask? 'How can I become an positive internal thinker?' - well, just like most habits, you need to train yourself into it before the process becomes automatic.

'How do I do that?' well, you have to consciously make the decision to be positive about situations and thoughts that cross your mind, you know that inner voice you have that tells you what you can and cant do, or tells you if something is true or false? You basically need to harness that - and you can do this!

This is a typically automatic process that is self fullfilling, which is why if you start browsing r9k, while you dont consciously think to yourself "hm, that greentext about some dude dropping his spaghetti is funny, but it's not like me at all" then you wont end up like him, but nobody thinks like that! So of course, by browsing r9k you'll start becoming //autistic//, 'lonely', like an 'outcast', and be bitter about the world.
