this is the exact reason i quit my dish washing job last year (also medical conditions)
the people there treated me like shit, talked shit on EVERYONE, everyone was bitter, nasty, rude, alcoholics, smokers, etc.
i even earned a nickname because i was "too slow" when doing work in the back.
when in reality i couldnt move any faster because of my medical problems.
fuck those people, ive been a lot happier now that im outta that shithole, even though i have absolutely no money now.

i work as a security guard and the actual work isn't a problem at all. it's the people I have to deal with and being treated unfairly. some of coworkers are just purely mean spirited people and my manager basically threatened to fire me if I don't become a "team player"
