I'm in a position where I do have a decent number of 'friends', but have unconsciously maintained a certain distance so that I don't get too close to anyone.
This issue just came up on my mind when I thought about how some people actually consult their problems to their friends - I can never see myself doing this: who knows what they could do with that information, they could really fuck you up if they wanted to.
Pretty sure this is called the Hedgehog's Dilemma, how do you guys deal with it?
