How do people even become apprentices in real life, anyway. When I see positions for apprentices they require 4-6 years experience. I thought you were supposed to become an apprentice to get that experience. It's like trades are restricted to people who are lucky enough to have a father who already knew it. Through nepotism or they get the apprenticeships, when they are 14, since the employer is legally allowed to pay them almost nothing at that age.
