They all slowly stopped responding to my texts. Eventually they deleted my number I think, because when they would respond, they would say "Who's this?" When I told them who I was, they'd stop responding. The worst part is, we all lived in the same neighborhood, so I'd walk outside and see all my "friends" riding around in a car together or something. The final straw was when I was near tears, desperately trying to find someone to talk to, I texted everyone in my phone. The next day, someone responded. The text didn't make much sense at all but I didn't care, I texted him back.

Try to work past this barrier of some prescription some doctor gave you. Blow everyone else's and your own expectations away. Learn to communicate with others the way others do (chances are, you already do and you just don't know), and most importantly, love yourself.

A major one I can think of is people expecting you to be able to handle spontaneous, spur-of-the-moment decisions because everyone else can handle them. I get easily overwhelmed just at the mere thought of something unexpected ever happening and breaking up the "normal" flow of things for me.

Unfortunately my inability to handle the unexpected well led to several situations where I've involuntarily burned bridges with people I didn't necessarily want to lose. When I refused to do certain things with people, they concluded that it was because I didn't like them, but the truth was I did like them and wanted to hang out with them. I just couldn't find it within myself to do things sometimes.
