I've applied in person hundreds of times. No one has ever hired me.

So, I've been in real estate for many years, and here's the deal with being an agent.

First and foremost, it's NOT a job. If you think of it that way, you're dead. Period. You must understand that it's your own business and you are on your own. So, as a business, you have to do your own marketing and lead gen, your own tech support, accounting, etc. The brokerage is simply there for some legal coverage and they will not really care if you make no money.

So, if you want to start, I'd recommend saving at least 6 months of living expenses, plus some extra for brokerage fees, marketing, websites,etc.

I'd also recommend spending some cash on reputable coaching. You need early wins to bolster your confidence. If you go too long without a sale, you'll start to get desperate and sellers will sense it (they call this "commission breath").

Finally, focus on listing NOT on buyers.

just my experience but real estate seems to be a chad profession. 3 chads from my high school are now real estate agents.

why not go into finance? i know there's lots of chads but nothing says you have to work on wall street or even interact with people and then you make lods of emone which might make you more attractive to staceys
