Robots, my brain feels totally jumbled after this fucked up dream I had this morning. I was playing a concert with my band, but I couldn't set up my drum kit for the life of me. I was on stage and the audience was waiting, but every piece of hardware was rusted and malfunctioning. I couldn't get any of my cymbals or drums positioned correctly. Finally my band started playing a drum-less version of a song to appease the crowd, and even after that I still didn't have my drums set up.
I woke up after that, with the dream left unresolved, and my brain has been in a fog all morning. Wtf mate?

Sure. Because I have no imagination and my life rolls on day to day routine, nothing ever changes, I usually dream about my day to day life. It really fucks me up when something in my dream changes and it messes up my routine, for example one time I dreamed that my bus stop was in a completely different place. Of course the next morning I waited there for the bus to come like an idiot.
Usually it's just something small, like searching for things in the wrong places because I put them there in a dream and such, or getting really worried about leaving stove on because I left it on in the dream.
Am I sleep-walking through my waking state, or wake walking through my dreams?

First time I took 50mg of sertraline was amazing, I thought they were normie pills and going to change my life, I felt excited and I swear to god my visual field expanded and the world around me seemed wonderful again. But this effect gradually tapered off even as I increased my dose to 200mg and eventually I could barely tell if it was doing anything at all.
After this I tried bupropion and mirtazapine which may have offered some minor improvement but not as much as the sertraline. Around this point my psychiatrist retired and I didn't bother getting another one.
Needless to say, your experiences will vary, but I think they're worth trying if you're depressed. Best of luck anon
