I only eat once a day, because it feels like I'm wasting food if I eat before I go to sleep.
My reasoning is that I'm going to wake up hungry regardless. Why waste the food when I could eat it tomorrow and not be hungry?

Never get a prey animal (guinea pig, rabbit, mouse, insects, ferrets, etc) as a pet. They are high maintenance, way too easy to kill accidentally and offer absolutely no affection. They will avoid you at all costs. You'll get almost no joy from caring for them.

Hermit crabs are the only exception.
