can someone please edit out the white background (but leave the black stains)? I need it transparent. Doesn't have to be the whole thing, I mostly just want the top part - from the baby's head and up. Thanks!

I used photoshop CS6.
Take the magic wand tool and click into all white spots/background to select it. Then use the refine edge function, select a smartradius of about 2.3 pixels and trace the edges to improve the selection. Then inverse the selection, copy it, create a new file, paste it. You should have two layers now. A white background layer and your copied object in a second layer. Doubleclick the background layer, change it to "layer 0" and delete it. Save the file and you are ready. Simple as that!
