The Good (The Archeon Worm), The Bad (The Masked Man) and the Ugly (The Abonimble Snowman) stand off for what feels like an hour with the sword inbetween them. In the end... no one makes a move. The three forgive each other's haste and the stand-still breaks as all three head off to their separate destinations. Some seeking blood of the not so innocent, some seeking asylum for themselves/loved ones and some simply looking for a good fight. No one's going to die. Not at this hour at least. Khorne the blood god looks at his scene in displeasure. Aleera the Godess of Peace and the Old World breaths a sigh of relief.
Josh's wound is mercifully cealed with ice and he heads into his apartment. His sister is now joyful. But his mind is still burdened. There's a price on his head. And Next time there might not be angel to save him or his sister. He raises his trusty shotgun to his chest (the only possesion he was able to save from New Mexico) and with his other hand he leads his loving sister into the apartment. What will it take to find peace for the masked man?
... Jack walks away. After the dust settles you find youself still a snowman in spirng in Arizona on a hot sunny morning. Time to deliver icecream!
Worm leaves downtown. Satisfied and confident that the innocent have been protected. You go back to Pheonix university to find another fight! On campus you find a man in a bizarre white grinning mask swinging an immense cleaver down onto a deer!

>Everyone chooses a starting area on map, capital city, other city. Also population distribution is decided by player (Capital city must always have most pop)

>Development actions can develop magic, tech, or culture
>Regular actions are limited only by the people in your civ. You can use them to build, explore, fight, etc.
>civs start with 1000 guys,

Dungeon Civ takes place inside a stereotypical RPG Dungeon.
SUMMARY: You are a race of Slimes living on the 55th floor of the Dungeon. Floor 55 is a Ruined City which grants defensive bonuses. The most recent Dungeon God has granted all the creatures on your Floor sentience and the ability to grow beyond their initial parameters. You were a mid level boss named Kulnarth (the all consuming) a Royal Slime. Now you are a full fledged
Hero in your own right. You've made powerful enemies including both the Floor Boss, a Demon by the name Eviscorax, and Adventurers bent on destroying you for being a monster.

RECAP: Both the supporting zones of the royal castle had been swept clean of opposition, but the Castle itself is protected by an enormously powerful magic barrier that prevents your forces from advancing. As if that weren't trouble enough, the powerful witch Selendra has captured the former Armory for her own ends. Ash has been trapped inside the newly formed Zone with no apparent way out.

>Stats
Breeding determines how quickly your race spawns and respawns, and the Floor unit cap for your race.
Melee determines how well you fight with Melee weapons, and the maximum level of Melee weapons your race can equip. Also determines your base defense against Melee attacks.
Ranged works like Melee, but for Ranged weapons. Ranged weapons do less damage than Melee weapons on average. Also determines defense against Ranged attacks.
Magic determines what type of Magic you can equip. Equipping a type of magic will often change your type conferring bonuses and weaknesses. Also determines the strength of your magic and defense against magic.
(Some magic will require a Melee or Ranged roll)
Technology is useful for building and detecting traps, and determines the best equipment your race naturally produces. Also effects accessory limits.
Diplomacy affects party size, trade, and your diplomatic interaction with other races. Also determines whether or not you can accept a certain race into your Hero's Party.
Many of these can be improved or modified.
>Heroes
A hero is a unit well above the average for its race. Some Dungeon Races generate Heroes naturally, others have to work towards them. Heroes are allowed to equip special equipment and act independently of their racial holdings.
Sometimes a group of Heroes will descend into the Dungeon from the Outside. These are almost always powerful beings hoping to challenge the Dungeon God. It is not unheard of for such Heroes to annihilate entire Floors.
>Floor
The Floor is your world, but that doesn't mean you know all its secrets. Becoming the dominant Race on a floor can allow you to increase its Level.
Floor 55 has recently become a level 3 Floor.
>Stronghold
The Stronghold is the center of your Race's power. Heroes will rest here when not on assignment or questing. And the items of fallen Adventurers and Heroes will be stored here. If your Stronghold is destroyed all of your basic racial units on that floor will die immediately leaving only your Hero units. Your Stronghold is the Ruined Baths zone next to the Floor starting area.
>Dice
All rolls are 1d20 best of three. Your roll will be modified by magic, equipment, accessories, racial bonuses, and other modifiers as deemed necessary.

Since its been forever and a day here's a recap.
Staring down at a wounded Adventurer is a familiar sight. In the past this wouldn't have been a decision. There were no decisions then. That's the existence Frederick remembers and hates. Probably the reason this Drow decided to work for him as well. Kulnarth may be a monster, but he doesn't have to be mindless.
Stretching a portion of himself out to engulf the woman is easy, as is pressing closed her wounds. Song of Swift Victory grimaces in pain as her blood stains the inside of Kulnarth's body.
"What are you doing? It doesn't matter how you torture me, I won't talk."
Ignoring her for now Kulnarth goes over to the Possessed leader. His skull has split vertically across his brow and a jagged horn protrudes there. The other side has a swelling bump that threatens to birth a similar horn on the other side. Who knows how many Souls were stashed away in this sea for this purpose? Whatever the Possessed is turning into Kulnarth is not eager to find out. With a lightning quick lash of his pseudopod the man falls lifeless to the ground with his head snapped backwards. Whatever foul magics he attempted die with him as the seal fades into a dull brown color.

Ash quickly Hides behind a particularly sturdy piece of rubble. The muted conversation continues in the background. From her raiding place Ash can't make out any of the words, but the overall situation is clear. Whatever Frederick wants the hooded stranger to do, it seems dead set in refusing. After several more moments of strained conversation the being simply turns and walks away. After three steps it activates a teleport crystal and is gone. For his part Frederick turns and nods to Selendra with a vague hand waving motion. Hopping off her broom with a rueful smile Selendra raises both her hands to the Orb and casts something.
Light envelops the entire zone as it is captured by Selendra.
When the brilliant light of creation passes Ash finds herself inside a dusty pantry with wooden shelves. Motes of dust dance in the slanted light of a high window. The walls are simple plaster, occasionally cracked. The floor is a warm wooden color reminiscent of wheat.

Hi.
I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing.
In case you don't know who I am, good. I'm the QM of European Dragon Quest, and also the greatly failed Conquistador Quest and even worse in my opinion, It which shall not be named.
If your expecting me to be good with civ quests, It'll take me a minute to get used to.
Anyways, here's the quick rundown on rules.
Votes and Dice
First of all, I go by the Highest Votes Wins for votes, and typically will give anons 15-25 minutes, sometimes less, sometimes more.
Rolls are decided by a 1d100, with dices towards the highest values such as 100's being worse, and dice rolls towards the lowest being the best.
Combat
Combat is decided by three actions.
>Attack (Swing with your fists, etc. Beats Dodge.)
>Special Attack (Shit like shooting a crossbow in the middle of a battle. Casting a fireball, etc. Beats Attack.)
>Dodge (Which beats Special Attack, and is aptly called Dodge.)
In addition, you won't have complete control over your civ. You will be actively either ignoring your ruler and hoping he dies so he doesn't fuck your shit up by deciding it'd be a fun time to invade another country, etc.
Basically, you do not exist to control the ruler. The ruler will do whatever he wishes, which will vary by his Ambitions.
A ruler's ambitions are telling of what they want to do in life, and generally fufilling them leads to a much happier monarch, a better king who can manage better, though if left unchecked can also spiral you into bankruptcy.
Champions, Heroes, and Politics.
Anons will have control over an "agent" so to speak. These agents are essentially your prophets, your warlords, your warmongerers, you name it. These are the playable characters, and at the very beginning Will be the ruler.
However, before we begin, we need to select your race.
This has been slightly modified from the original, keep in mind.
Choose a race and a location anons. I'll wait 35 minutes.
Feel free to ask questions for races.

After the assassination of Duke Ferdinand, The tension between Central Empire and Allied Republic intensify, with the Emperor searching for the killer. The Empire Chancellor ordered a conscript law to trained and prepared for war.
You are Ferdinand von Brandt, a clanker lesser noble who joined the navy academy in order to alleviate your family's noble status. After 8 Weeks of intense training and courses, the instructors decided that the last week of training would be used to create a war simulation. You took the role of the defense captain against the famous naval specialist noble called Von Wesser.
With careful planning,hiring and brainstorming, your crew were able to formulate plans and your decision-making managed to ambush the hunter. Great luck and bold action made you achieved victory with rewards of hard booze and pride. But this took a strange turn as your engineer friend went too drunk and you carried him to his bunk. There he accidentally(?) kissed you and your rival captain saw what happened.
Now the dead filled bunk became colder than winter graveyard.

You sigh and carry his lightweight ass in bridal style. Not your fist choice as back carry or fireman carry have a chance for him to puke on your uniform and you dont want that.
He mumbles along the way as well as touching/slapping your face. Glasses all fogged up and face red as a tomato. Probably due to those alcohol...you gotta get back on Gabby later...
As you planned your revenge, you entered the barrack to find the offensive team laying down like a dead man on their bunk, without even changing their uniform. You can hear someone agonizing somewhere but you dont care. You unceremoniously dump Albert on his bunk, take his shoes out and tuck him in...just because you are in a good mood.
"Mmmm...Von bsent?" He mumbled
"hm? get to sleep Albert." His respond was a mumbles so you take your face close to hear what he says...When suddenly his face went forward and kissing you right in the lips. Taste of alcohol and shame linger in your mouth for few seconds before he went down again.
You are shocked of what happened here, snapping you out of the buzzing haze in your head.
"Wuv u", he mumbled before snoring. hopefully he forgot about those.
"Von...Brant?" a voice behind you. you quickly turned. lo and behold...
"Von...Wesser?" But something's wrong with him...he's covering all his body with towel.
You stared at him and he stared at you, wet towels still glued to his body. Silence and awkwardness filled the room.
Did...he saw what just happened?

"So...",he cough silently,"congratulations?"
You let out a massive sigh. Thank god he can read the atmosphere.
"Thanks...". Slowly the big elephant in the room is starting to disappear.

Of late, many issues have been wearing upon your mind. Your revenge. This moon elf ancestor of yours, who apparently wants to destroy the world. Being hunted by this 'Witch Hunter', whoever and wherever he may be. And then there are all of the other small details that sometimes fall by the wayside...
Currently, you are in Aran, dealing with some small matters relating to the cults and helping smoothe over the transition of the new goblins into the realm and its populace. The giant ant queen has been taken to a safe place, a future breeding laboratory overseen currently by your servitors, though it will require an expert in due time once she starts producing young.
Things are running smoothly. Your revenants are serving you well, though currently you don't have them doing anything exceptionally difficult or challenging. The important thing is that none of them have tried to betray you or contact the outside world yet, like the dark elf Alicia whom you drained of memory. She served as a good example to the others.
Tapping your fingers on your throne's arms, you consider what to do next. Your worldly holdings, namely the tower, and your investments in the local mine and brothel have paid you well. You currently have several other connections and threads to check up on in the tangled web that has become your life.

You open back up "The Paraphernaliae of the Magician" by Gor the Weak and start to compare it with the "Gesta Infernorum", written by an anonymous Satanic priest sometime in the 13th Century.
You tear up a little over the pages. You feel bad for pulling Brighton into this infernal clusterfuck, even if you had to.
