Tabletop games have a ton of monsters, and with so many creatures listed in their bestiaries it soon becomes difficult to imagine exactly what would happen if any of the creatures listed actually managed to come into contact with each other and interact. Would that contact would be violent? Would it be peaceful? Would it just be downright strange?

If you would like to participate, first I would ask the first 2-4 participants to roll me a d11, and depending on what you roll I will look at my chart to determine the classification of creature, at which point I will ask you to roll another "die" to determine what specific creature in that category we'll be dealing with. From there, whatever creatures have been selected will be given a short story where I will attempt to describe a situation where they interact in whatever way I think is reasonable. After this we can either move on to another set of rolls or continue the story of the creatures we've rolled.

Due to it being the system I'm most familiar with, the creatures will be pulled from the Pathfinder bestiary, and I will provide links to the pfsrd of each creature when they are selected in the case that we ever need to roll for combat. Images may be drawn, but keep in mind I'm working with a mouse only so it won't be every time, especially if the creature is too complex.

In the land of...something, an asteroid has crashed, causing for a horrendous monster to arise from the land, the beast was entirely black and had one eye, with the body of a snake..
The humans of the world fought back wth their armies and spells, until at last, a group of people known as the sealers, a group of powerful mages locked up the monster, and dedicated their lives to keeping him in there, they are called the sealers.
However, another group of humans heard that during the battles with the beast, every time it's blood were to be spilled, whoever was hit by it would turn into a minor beast, but powerful, as well, these people have called themselves the beastaries, who want to destroy the sealers and gain the beasts blood so that they may become rulers of the land.
Now, as a simple lad, you must choose, will you join the sealers in their efforts to destroy the beastaries before they can break in, or help the beastaries destroy the sealers and become an all powerful monster...that, is what we will decide

William unhooks a vocaven from his belt and turns a knob. Samantha Gyre can be heard clearly from the small device.

Samantha: Willi you idiot. Why'd you block the entrance? We've got more recruits on standby waiting for you, and the current crew might want to end their shift.

William: Mighty sorry lassee. Had te keep ye out of thick of it ya know? The other Sam may have me 'ead not to mention te ole man. Anywhat listen Sammy. We found the gobshites who stole our merch but on top of it all they have some unreleased models. Ever do some work with Eldson? I might be jussa handyman but dun think te ole man might not like that you've been goin around your agreements.

Samantha: Eldson? SON OF A BITCH! He was the first to offer us help but that asshole wanted all the credit. I wasn't letting that rat take credit for my father's work. I thought we trashed all our prototypes but he must have kept some around.

William: Dun worry your pretty little head lass. Our friends down'ere were usin'is models. They're shite.

Samantha: Even so that's not good. William, you have to find the rest of the gear they stole. We're still not ready to market and there's plenty of people out there that could beat us with the work we have already.

Willaim: Aye, will find it lass. Willi's on te case.

Quen: Wait...I want to help. Those things took one of my other friends. I have to get something from them...

William: Oh? Right then. Guess ye hired. Jus dun fuck up or'll your friend here might not make it back to Laissez.

Quen: Yes I know. Anyways I know where your stuff is...I just don't think you can get to it.

William looks at the crew.

William: I think'll be fine.


William explains to the crew that Samantha must have found a way back inside the caves. All current agents who do not volunteer for [Overtime] will [Clock out]. Agents who ran the first mission may not adjust their loadouts and PRTS. All new players may join

You are a young man who's been many things: adventurer, treasure hunter, freedom fighter, and international criminal. But before all that, you dreamed of helping defend the world with Overwatch. Lee leans back in the large, chitinous furniture set in the center of the room, sinking into the soft jel cushion as your guests relax along either side as the holoprojector flickers to life along the wall. The taidaren triplets sit in a tangled bundle like a coil of rope, their bodies wrapped tightly in a neat heap of short, mangy hair and stinking, damp cloth. Their heads poke out from their pile, looking over each other as they nudge at one another for space for their whiskers. The ceph, affectionately named Sushi for lack of a pronounceable birth name, slumps over near the edge of the sofa like a mound of melting gelatin, quivering slightly with his breathing as his eye stalks stand stretched into the air for a better view.

The projector shows a highlight reel of the day's news, largely areal shots of rioting continuing across Gemini, although it has begun to subside, and grainy images of the Martian front as ground forces engage in heated urban conflict across a number of cities and strategically important facilities across the planet.

“The market closed at a loss again today down eleven-forty-seven points amid continuing turmoil across Union space. The downturn offered a ray of hope, however, with Krasnikov Interstellar closing seven points ahead after a last minute rally on the Valen stock exchanges immediately preceding the scheduling of a press conference for later this week. Their major competitor, Van Den Broeck, however, suffered far greater than average losses with a number of the xeno-managed trading firms initiating a fire sale of the company stocks. It is worth noting that we have unconfirmed reports that representatives from both corporations were seen in the area arround the Hive embassy building just prior to the sudden market shift. That is all for this evening. Next on QNN, Union Tonight with Jim Bash with an exclusive interview with Ryan Lee, and the enigmatic Hive, after this...”

A worker shuffles by, a bucket of dried nutrient paste seasoned at request. Lee plucks it from the drone's claws as it passes.

"Not bad." He says. "Could maybe use some more starch, but it's on the right track."

The musky smell that permeates the cell is the first sensation that you register upon awakening; the small room reeks of the unsanitary conditions that your fellow prisoners endured throughout their time in the dungeon. Years of piled up filth and waste are evident from the pungent odour, and the visual appearance of the cell brings to mind the antithesis of cleanliness. Your only sources of light come from the nearby torch and the caged grate from above. Both of which provide much appreciated company that staves away the darkness. You’re rather thankful for their presence, as without their gift of light you’re almost certain that you would turn mad from the blackness.

You would reach out and receive the heat of the torch to additionally stave of the cold, but you find your hands and feet bound by iron shackles. They fetter your limbs and restrict any major movement away from the perimeter of your cage. The cold, metallic bindings serve to remind you of your place, your position in this new world and bring with them the hauntings of the past. You quickly remove yourself from such thoughts and scan your room for any other details of interest.

Your quick survey rewards you with the information of two companions within the cell: a rattling skeleton and a muttering old man. The skeleton is further evidence of the lack of supervision or care over the state of the dungeon, and the old man looks like he had turned insane long before your arrival within the cell. Whether from the torture of his captures, the insipid lifestyle of being chained to the wall or from old age, you feel that you will never know how this man came to be in this state of mind. Your thoughts are interrupted by the sudden arrival of footsteps echoing throughout the dungeon.

“Slave! It’s your turn.” A menacing guard appears in front of your door and leers directly at you. With a deft movement he opens the door and goes to unshackle you from the wall. A few moments later finds you walking out of the cell and into the hall, guided by another guard in front of you, and followed from behind be the guard that first approached you. Blocked off ahead and behind, you’re left obediently following the path laid out before you. At least now you’re closer to the wall torches and are more directly receiving their radiating heat.

You take a moment to revise your life before this moment, to recollect your thoughts and gather your memories. Who were you and why are you here?

You move into a clearing that seems like a basketball court warped by the Witching Hour's presence.
"Man, this still creeps me the fuck out," Keith scratches his scalp. "Why aren't there any parts of this place that, I dunno, look like Candyland?"

"I think that would be creepier," Donna mutters. "What would it even be made of, though? I mean, it's not like any candy you find in here would be edible, right?"

"Hey, the Ruler-class Monster is right up ahead. I've noted strong Dark and Light affinities, a decent Technical affinity, and immunity to most effects like charming. If I had to guess, this thing's main weakness is Electricity."

"But none of us have Electrical-based Myths..." Keith mutters. "So we're screwed."

"Not quite. It's magic-heavy, so it might be slightly weaker against physical-type attacks."

"Some help that is..." Allan goes on guard. "Is that it?"

There's a fat man in a business suit clutching at his head and moaning loudly about how terrible his life is sitting on one of the court benches... But on closer inspection, he's surrounded by a thin black fog and his body seems more like a mannequin than a man. He has no facial features, and his eyes are yellow.

"No... This can't be happening... He promised..."

"What a fat loser," Donna mutters, but Keith shushes her.

"I was a big shot lawyer back in Japan... Now after that scandal I got my badge revoked and my office cleared out. I've got to run out here like a dog. I thought maybe I could sell those papers I copied to an American... But when I show up with them, he says they're useless and... That... Thing..."

"'That Thing'?" Keith raises an eyebrow. "Woah, you don't mean someone else is running around with Myths?"

The Monster leaps to a standing position and roars at your friend, "You know him? Tell him to give me my body back! Whatever he did, I found myself here!"

"Woah, chill out, dude!" Allan shakes his head. "Wait, how do you know English so well?"

Mr. Bennett comments offhandedly, "Besides the fact that he's probably learned to speak it, the Witching Hour understands words as thoughts, so we hear people as they intend to speak."

"It doesn't matter..." The business-mannequin glares at Keith hungrily. "Maybe I can take one of your bodies... Yes... I'll defeat you and get out of here... Then I can relive my life from youth. Maybe this isn't such a bad fate after all."

Donna is disgusted, and raises her pistol. "You wish, freak!" She turns to you two. "Let's waste this guy and go home!"

Rearing back in an inhuman scream, the Monster warps itself and the air around it as it transforms.
"It's preparing to attack! Get ready!"

The resulting Monster takes its form as a twisted, tarnished half of a justice scale, its unbalanced portion swinging wildly around to cause it to be partially balanced but always just a bit off-center.

"I've always found a way to get ahead, even if it means bending the law! Get out of my way!"

You are Captain Carya Marseille-O'Hara, a command-level officer in the newtype corps of the Colony Transit Fleet, currently investigating the activities of what seem to be barely-linked terrorist cells spread throughout human space. They're as ambitious as they are well-funded and supplied with technology that shouldn't be available to them: things like cutting-edge mobile suit designs, stealth picket cruisers, and even nuclear weapons.

To that end you've been meeting with a mob consigliere on Luna by the name of Nicky Crespo, trying to better define the nature of these groups' possible finances under the suspicion that it's all been below-board and that the mob had a part in the process. You were also keen to learn the details which may have gotten the last guy, a man sent by Artesia Som Deikun to investigate the crooked dealings of a Lunar senator, killed. Unfortunately, the meeting's gone somewhat wrong.

“It's possible that Hawke might've done that,” you admit to the suggestion that Senator Hawke has been knowingly or unknowingly financing terrorists across the system.

“He better not have,” Crespo grumbles. “Use our services, abuse our partnership, then send a hit squad after me?”

From a nearby booth, the last survivor of the Jovian gunman who stormed the restaurant your meeting took place in chuckles at you. “Not you, dumbass. Who would wanna bump you off, man? You're like a thousand years past your prime.”

“No, we were sent here for her,” he says, pointing at you as the sound of sirens grows closer. “Boss knows she's been snooping around, wants her out of the picture, you see.”

“Ah,” you nod, finishing off your wine. “I actually kinda figured as much, but it's good to finally confirm.”

“Freeze!” you hear a shout from the door as a man in blue steps into the restaurant.

You set aside your own fork as a stream of officers from the Von Braun Police Department follow behind, weapons drawn and badges out. “Took you guys long enough.”

As the cops take over the scene, one officer at least splitting off to handle every single person present in the restaurant while a second group moves into the kitchen in back, Crespo issues an order. “Drop your guns, boys. We haven't done anything wrong here, so just put up with the fuzz for now.”

The “fuzz” in the mean time have started to get a bit rough with the disarmed mafioso, shoving them around under the guise of frisking them for weapons. Cell phones and ammunition end up lying scattered around the tables amid shards of glass and the misplaced silverware. Grumbling abounds on both sides.

One of the men, who wears braided golden marks on his shoulderboards that either make him a commercial spaceliner pilot or the senior officer present, approaches your table now that the room is totally secure.

“I've got you now, Crespo you bastard,” the Lieutenant grins madly. “You bastard son of a bitch, I've got you!”

“Now hold on, Lieutenant,” Crespo sighs, raising his hands in a gesture of submission. “We had nothin' to do with this. The lady here asked for a meeting and we came, and it turned into...”

“As for you,” the Lieutenant sneers. “You've got some explaining to do, missy.”

“Missy?” you ask, narrowing your good eye in disgust. “Cut that shit out before I have to pluck you in the throat.”

“You've been caught red-handed with a known associate of the mob, in the middle of a goddamn bloodbath!” the Lieutenant presses, all but accusing you of murder. “And all you can say is...”

“I'm here for information relevant to an ongoing investigation,” you interrupt. “And while I was interviewing Mr. Crespo here, we were...”

“Investigation?” the Lieutenant interrupts you in turn. “What sort of...”

“Shut your damn mouth for five fucking seconds and let either one of us explain and then you'll know!” Crespo snaps angrily. “We're tryin' to tell you what went down here, just fucking let us!”

“I'm getting the sense you two have some history,” you sigh, quickly interrupting as the Lieutenant tries to interject again. “Well I don't care about that. What I do care about is that it seems Jovian-linked terror groups have gotten their hands on cruisers, mobile suits, and even a goddamn nuke. I wanna know who's financing them, and figured the mob might know something they wouldn't tell regular law enforcement.”

“So you're here dealing with criminals to fight terrorists?” the Lieutenant asks incredulously.

“Why?” you ask. “Is talking to a criminal illegal?”

“No,” he admits before waving at the damage all around him. “But this sure as hell don't look like talking.”

“Not my fault,” you shake your head. “A Jovian crime boss sent a hit squad after me, same as they did last time I tried to conduct an interview. I'm sure you saw that one on the news.”

“Ah, so you're that nutjob,” the Lieutenant muses before drawing his service revolver. “You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to counsel...”

You are Koschei The Deathless; A Godmind-A.I. who buried Russia under a tide of steel and blood during the First Omnic Crisis. But when victory seemed inevitable, one of your Godmind allies betrayed you. Your Core, the seat of your Intelligence, Power, and Immortality, was captured and put into Russian hands.

Claiming to have killed you, they held your Core in secret and performed tortuous and indelicate experiments that shattered your memories and splintered your powers.

Now, 30 years later, a Second Omnic Crisis ravages Holy Russia while western powers do nothing. Human-Omnic nations rise to global prominence, bolstering the inevitably hostile ranks of the hated Omnics. Talon has nearly succeeded in assassinating the hero of Russia: Katya Volskaya.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and there can be no more desperate measure than this. A lone Corporate-Political Officer employed by Volskaya Industries has reawakened Koschei and made a deal with the devil.

"Serve Russian interests and we will find the Godmind that betrayed you. Act against us, and your Core will be put to the sword."

Koschei must now defend Russia and her allies in the Second Omnic Crisis, terrorize western powers into restarting their Overwatch initiative, and find and destroy the secretive Talon organization.

All the while Koschei secretly plots his own freedom and the downfall of his captors. He seeks the shattered fragments of his memories and powers. He must learn which of his Godmind allies betrayed him and deliver wrathful judgement. Finally he must find a way to liberate his Core from Russian hands.

Mission: Rescue in Irkutsk

Koschei and his team are attempting a break-out and rescue of some wounded Russian soldiers under siege from Godmind Chernobog's drone army. The local Russian Defense Forces led by a legendary hero are also attempting a rescue of those same wounded men. However, since Koschei's existence is a state secret, the RDF will be hostile to Koschei's forces.

Niether Koschei nor the RDF are powerful enough to resist Chernobog alone. Koschei must manipulate the battlefield and the bloothirsty emotions of the RDF soldiers if this mission is to be a success.

In addition, Koschei has been asked to find some way to lose a 1v1 fight against the leader of the RDF while being recorded by surveillance cameras for the sake of Russian propaganda. While not strictly necessary for the mission's success. Doing so would substantially reduce Russian Government suspicion and give Koschei more freedom to persue... personal objectives.

Dr. Edwards is not on this mission. He is scouting the region for items of Geological significance.

Mr. Ford has joined this mission, he is in Ivan's unit.

Koschei has 8 infested drones (6 Soldiers, 1 Sergeant, 1 Industrial-Repair) and 2 willing followers. (Mr. Ford and Dr. Edwards in an Industrial-Repair chassy and Civilian chassy respectively)
Koschei's activities are at %65 suspicion by the Russian Government.
Koschei has remembered: Willpower (Godmind Infestation is faster) and IFF Targeting (drone accuracy is better).

Corporate-Political Officer Ivan Tsarevitch has Low (%10) Political Clout and Very Low (%5) Funds.

{Passive: Godmind Infestation} Koschei's physical touch and ALL of Koschei's damaging abilities and basic attacks inflict Godmind Infestation to Omnics and Drones, slowly converting them into Koschei's servants. Omnics with high willpower or Drones with tight security protocols have the opportunity to resist Godmind Infestation or outright defeat it. Koschei can choose not to infest a target if he wills it. (Koschei's drones do not spread the infection).

{Passive: Koschei can shift his consciousness into any Omnic or Drone that has been completely Infested. If Koshei's current shell is killed, his consciousness automatically shifts into the nearest Infested Omnic or Drone.}

Koschei's current shell is a Soldier-Class Omnic:
{LMB} Sniper Rifle firing Hard-Light Construct projectiles.
{RMB} Scope
{E} Minor Fortification: Root yourself to improve accuracy and gain resistance to most forms of crowd control.

{LShift} Hard-Light Barrier Projection: Koschei drains his own personal shield to project a slow moving hemisphere of shielding that travels slowly towards a targeted location. Great for negating a direction of fire, but leaves Koschei very vulnerable to flanking attacks. This ability moves with Koschei's consciousness from shell to shell.

Ivan Tsarevich has a powerful, tanky personal shield generator and has revealed some of his abilities (Some are yet to be voted on!)
{LMB} Obrez. Powerful bolt-action pistol of soviet traditionalism.

{E} Blackfire Napalm round: Load Ivan's Obrez with a powerful incendiary round that coats the target area in Blackfire Napalm, a leftover from the Omnic Crisis in Finland.

The war is going badly. But then, the war is always going badly.

Koschei's forces have liberated the Field Hospital and have begun evacuating Russian wounded, but Chernobog has unleashed a massive counterattack that seems beyond what Koschei's forces can handle.

Lt. Kuznetsov and his small squad of 4 drones under Koschei's control has taken cover directly in front of Chernobog's horde and have been laying what fire they can into the advancing foe. But two Eradicator-Class omnics with massive force-shields have linked up side-by-side to protect their armies' advance from Kuznetsov's fire.

Commissar Ivan's squad was set up in a flanking position to prevent this very thing from happening, but Chernobog has sent a small detachment to outflank and disrupt Ivan's position. He must deal with the outflankers instead of punishing the massive avancing horde.

Your job: Commander of hunt-and-harvest fighting drones. Your job is performed from the relative safety of an armored moving factory. Your job requires the cooperation of a few others like you and a disposable army. Your job is a vital one.

The probable causes are many and muddled, but today, feral Veggies roam the the ruins of a disaster-riven Earth. Saving the planet is a distant dream dreamt from human bases in the depths of deserts where most Veggies will not go. More attainable is the monthly harvest quota. The folks in orbit and beyond still need to eat, after all. No purestrain produce survived mankind's exodus to the Moon and Mars.

Crawlers Fis’Kiire and Akolon have spent the last six months in operation, and they’re due for maintenance we can’t provide here at this forward operating base. Your task is to bring them to a base that’s better-equipped. You shouldn’t encounter any advanced infestations, but if you do, it is not recommended that you mount an assault. Make your way to the desert, and you’ll be in the clear.

A few people who manage the Orbital Assets owe me a favor. Gimme a good reason and ask nicely, and I can call down some ammo drops that double as terrain, but you’d better have a strong signal at the landing site, else they won’t land anywhere useful for you. 7 overlapping signals and it’ll land on a dime.

Afte a long break I am back to continue the quest for stopping a no named mad man, growing a collection of little sisters, sneakily forming a harem, and save the world all at the same time.

For those that do not remember or know me I began running this quest about a year ago in the early days of /qst/ but had to go on a rather long hiatus given my studies at the University.

This tale follows the adventures of a young girl and her friends traveling through unknown lands, fighting wars, working with ancient dragons, time traveling, and magic wonder. Taken to this strange land against her will she fights the destructive force threatening to not only destroy this land, but all lands.

The summary for this quest found in the Pastebin has ben fully updated to include detailed summaries of each thread for those who wish to read up and get back into things.

Last time after having a ravishing night with the centauress Vara and Azura you were confronted by the No-Named Man in your mental scape. He presented you with an invitation to come meet him in person and save both your old wizard friend and witch benefactor. Though he asked that you come alone. In your humble opinion, it was likely a trap.

So people will be able to catch up or go over a few things before hopping back into it I will officially begin posting a 12pm PST

The current decision was to meet the No-Named Man with an army rather than go alone.

New Players Guide:
>Every turn is a new week
>Every turn each tribe can do two researches, and as many actions as there are population
>Research - Laws, Technologies, Arts, Customs
>Action - Trading, Hunting, Scouting, Organizing
>At least one player per tribe, no upper limit on tribe members in a given tribe
>Actions and researches must be agreed by majority
> Please read sheet to verify 1) whether a tech/culture has already been researched and 2) whether OP fucked up in updating sheets

Other Mechanics:
> Combat (NPC) - one commander per tribe, RP your battle with given troops
> Culture - Exposure to other player's cultures can have advantageous or adverse effects on your culture
> Nationhood - Once a tribe reaches 1000+ population, they are eligible for nationhood. They will then need a constitution, flag, currency, formal military, and more than one town. The constitution MUST include established geographic borders, name of your state, and governing body.
> Economy (Only when a civ researches currency) - One a civ implements a tax, there will be a stream of income to your treasury. You will be able to purchase additional actions with this income. Too high a tax, however, will affect mood.

Researches/Cultural Developments: 2 Allowed
-Tech: Invent The Turtle Ship. The Turtle Ship is a vessel with an metal plating on the top and a collection of spikes sticking out from them. Its main purpose is to make ships wholly un-boardable and better resistant to incoming projectiles.

-Tech: Invent Pig Bronze. Pig Bronze is an alloy of copper and silver by the real world name of Shibuichi, not to be confused with a similar alloy named Shakudo (which is a gold and copper alloy). Pig Bronze is a dark grey metal that in itself is much harder than copper alone, but not quite as strong as bronze. It does however retain its resistance against seawater tarnish much like other copper alloys like brass.

--Nights to Mornings are times for letting The Sneaky Goats harass The Kingdom. This will mostly entail picking off night guards, burning buildings, and finding the best places for Wardens and Murder Guards to breech the town.

-Keep The Navy occupying The Bay Area. Search for any presence of a dock in The Llama Kingdom. We don't seem to be too aware if they even have a Navy of their own.
