Welcome to Star Wars: Jedi Knight Quest. I died for like two months but am back to finish what we started.

It is a dark era for the Jedi Order. The Sith Empire’s relentless assault obliterated the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and slaughtered many of the Republic's brave defenders during the last war. The surviving Jedi have withdrawn to their ancient homeworld of Tython, where they take advantage of a fragile peace to train a new generation of guardians for the galaxy and investigate their ancient origins. Desperate for numbers to swell their dwindling ranks, the Jedi have begun accepting older Apprentices to train in the ways of the Force.

You are Paxious Dromus. Once a simple Zabrak farmboy from a backwater world near Iridonia, you have impressed your masters time and again with your command of the Force. You’ve sparred with masters, beaten Flesh Raiders, uncovered Jedi Shadows, and studied the mysteries of the Force and the history of the Jedi.

Now, you have almost completed your final test to becoming a Padawan.

Jedi Knight Quest 16

“You...you what?” Lu asks, dumbfounded.

“I robbed a dark Jedi’s grave,” Ara states.

Lu chuckles. Then he laughs a bit more. Then he falls on his back in the jungle brush and cackles, gripping his stomach.

Nazz looks on with concern, “Lu...are you…”

“Oh, hahehahhheghah, I’m fine, heehehaaaahhehaghehe…” Lu gasps, “I just...I bet I can guess exactly what happened.”

Ara gives Lu a dirty look and says nothing.

“Okay, so you scaled the underground pyramid thing, right?” Lu starts, “And you get to the top and there’s an opening of some sort you drop down into. Inside is a mummified corpse holding that purple fucking crystal. You grab it, its eyes glow, the cave collapses. Am I right?”

Ara says nothing.

“Am I right?!” Lu repeats.

Ara finally takes a deep breath and says, “You’re not wrong, Lu, you’re just an asshole.”

“And that wasn’t all of it either,” Ara continues. “There were three crystals in the pyramid.”

“Really?” Jorraan interjects, “Are you going to have three lightsabers?”

“Jorraan, how would I even wield three lightsabers?” Ara asks.

“You could hold one in your mouth!” Jorraan says confidently.

Ara stifles a chuckle at Jorraan and continues, “Well, all three of the crystals were calling out to me. One was blue, I think, and the other was red. The red was calling out the loudest, like it was in pain and asking someone to help it or something. They were both on altars on opposite sides of the room. Then in the middle of the room, there was this mummified corpse holding clutching this crystal to its chest. It barely called out to me at all, but I somehow still felt drawn to it. When I walked toward it though, the red crystal seemed to draw me in like a magnet and as I was trying to get away from it, I nearly fell into the blue crystal. That kept happening until I reached the purple and touched it. As soon as i did that, the red and blue ones shattered and the mummy’s eyes glowed and everything started shaking.”

You all stop and consider what Ara experienced.

What will you do?

>Take a break. Tell everyone what happened to you in the cave
>That’s enough rest. Let’s start the second trial and get to the Forge.

“Sparatus, you can’t be serious!” Cried one of the Turian hierarchs in the military overview meeting.
Another hierarch replied with a practiced chill. “Relax, man! Just because our entire home system with us on it magically teleported into some parallel universe doesn't give you any rights to bitch and moan. Oh, and before you ask, that’s human for having an accelerator round stuck up your posterior.”
Councilor Sparatus himself interrupted the argument. “While I appreciate you coming to my defense Cayde, I can fight my own battles, no matter how tempting it may be to interfere. Price, why do you think this is such a bad idea?”
“Because they just got out of the academy! I don’t care how much skill they may have, a sim is a sim, and they don’t have experience!”
Sparatus sighed. “How about a compromise. Cayde will go with them on a shakedown run in a corvette. That way, Cayde gets to test the new captain and we don’t take a major blow to our current force. Is that acceptable for you, Price?”
“I don’t think I’m getting a better answer than that.”
“Okay, now if you excuse me, I gotta captain to test! See ya later, counce.” Cayde exclaimed as he strode out of the room, looking at his omnitool. “Let’s see here…”

Juushiro leads you away from the fornt door, walking you through the short patches of foliage that had sprung up at the side of the house with a casual jaunt.

The look he gave you when he saw your confidence was strange, almost nostalgic. But as you walk through the now waist high shrubbery you realize that you're walking towards what appears to be a small altar of some sort. When you see the faceless little clay tokens and the kanji on the shrine you groan internally.

"Welcome to the shrine of Mimihagi. The village has worshipped him as a guardian spirirt for a long time, longer than the Ukitake family line or even the seretei has stood." Your escrot says. "Mother likes to do her little test here."

At the mention of her Betty seems to appear from the long grass like a spirit, her back and silver hair coming into view. She'd apparently been kneeling in prayer, with a... katana... in front of her...

"I think you'll remember this test is more than a trifling exam child." She says harshly, "I hope your newfound complacency is due to ability and not laziness Juushiro."

He moves off to the side making a gesture for you to stay where you are, "I assure mother, there's no complacenecy I'm trying to make sure Sukaretto-chan is relaxed."

"Well don't. She needs that tension and focus." Betty says rising to her full tiny height and drawing a katana taller than she is with a slow certainty. The look on her face is no longer kindly and without her glasses you can see the eyes of someone who has seen much war - studying you intensely. "Let's see if you can be trusted out of my sight child."

"Look, Betty I-"

The old woman simply talks over you, her low growl somehow dwarfing your attempts at diplomacy; "And mark my words child, you'll not be running off with no bandits. You'll be living out at this shrine everyday training until you're capable of landing a cut on me."

Hell's teeth, couldn't this carriage go faster?

Your voyage on this old road was dreadfully silent sans the rocking of the carriage from this uneven path. You were starting to miss the comfort of your city already.

You almost forgot the ministry-sealed letter in your coat's pocket. After all, It was the sole reason why you were sent to this wretched town, Utobra .

" Anil Basdrov, The Ministry of Arcane is most pleased with your progress with the Pale . It is the greatest privilege we can, legally, give you. To investigate the arcane. Pale officers should not take neither their title nor their responsibilities lightly.

Your first task should be well within your capabilities . A rural town by the name of Utobra has experienced a horrid murder two days ago. This is no mere forensic task, for it wasn't a mere murder, I assure you. Should you find any evidence of unauthorized arcane practice, given the circumstances, you know your duties.

I expect daily reports on your findings. Oh one more thing, there are some remnants of the... natives in the town. Do mind yourself around them.

Prime Pale officer
Meda Basdrov. "

You closed the letter with disgust teeming in your eyes; what an ungodly stench seething through your carriage.

The Coachman didn't mind it though, The sod must have been used to it by as well as the rest of this wretch town.

'Oh sister of mine, I will surely get you for this...' you thought, angrily.

The Carriage started to slow down at a steady pace, The Coachman stepped out of the carriage with an audible thud in the mud. You peeked your head out, the old road stretched to miles ahead with the town looming in the distance.

" 'ardon me, ser. Today's winds has been rough to them black 'unglings. They will surely die on the road. "

The winds were indeed rough this morn, if only said whisked away this stench. You didn't expect to find a trace of compassion in these old, rotten bones. What a surprise.

These two crow chicks were gasping, flinging their frail, undeveloped wings while their eyes were pinned to their nest in the skies above. The thick mud was almost swallowing them awhole.

The coachman was about to grab the crows akin to a caring mother.

>Get back here you swine! I can not fathom a second more of delay. Leave these winged vermins on the ground where they belong.
> Your priorities are of mine and mine only. You are in luck, I tolerate indiscipline once [Step outside, crush the crows beneath your feet]

You weren't sure what you were expecting to happen to Tyler and Kate while you, Jason and Sam went off exploring. Gunfire wasn't one of them. Hurrying back to the waterfall lake, you found Tyler alone and holding a smoking pistol, bloodied but smiling.

The three of you are crouched down behind some trees and brush, but you made a little too much noise, and now he knows you're there.

"Don't worry," Tyler calls out to you. "I fixed it. Everything's fine."

Jason looks at you, then at Sam, with a grim face. "Stay here," he whispers to both of you, then starts to get up. Sam clutches at his hand, shaking her head, silently imploring him not to, but he brushes her off and finishes standing. "Hi, Tyler. You look a little beat up. What's going on?"

"Just taking care of business," Tyler replies. He slides the magazine out from the pistol's handle, checks the ammo inside, and slots it back into place with a quick, practiced efficiency. "Could you help me search for my glasses? I lost them somewhere around here."

Jason slowly starts to approach him, hands raised cautiously at about waist level. "Maybe, uh, you could put down the gun and then we can talk?"

"Hmph." Tyler flips the gun's safety on and tucks it into the back of his belt. "I should think out of anyone, you'd be comfortable with a firearm, Jason."

"Not right now," he says. "Tyler? Where's Kate?"

"She's right over --" Tyler starts to point to his right, towards a cluster of boulders a short distance away, big enough that Kate could be standing -- or otherwise -- just on the other side. Then he stops, and turns back to Jason. "Wait. Just what do you think happened here?"

"I don't know what to think," Jason says. "Here's what I do know. You've hidden a gun from us this whole time. Just now I heard gunshots. And now I don't see Kate."

>Tyler, please. What did you do?
>Jason, stop. You don't think he -- I mean, he couldn't do that. Right?

Their next stop was the large room on the southern end of the research wing, through which they hoped to access the security terminal that controls the robots. However, a legion of said robots was waiting there for them, under the command of what appeared to be the chief security drone. Our heroes promptly fled.

Welcome to Another Dragon Ball Quest ™ , a quest all about a young kid in the world of Dragon Ball and their involvement in many of the series iconic events. From Radditz to Beerus, there's no telling how far you'll go, or at least how long you can last till you get sent to another dimension!
>How do we play?
This quest functions like any other, options on what to do are brought up, using A,B,C,D, etc, and everyone of YOU votes on what you'd like the character to do. Write-In's are encouraged!
Also, we will be using a system I've seen SOM(Another great DBZ Quest Maker) use recently. For easy tasks, such as fighting normal humans or doing mundane chores, you'll roll a d20, for normal tasks such as fighting opponents who are of equal or slightly higher strength, or trying to pull off more difficult moves, you'll roll a d50, and for hard tasks, like fighting people who are much stronger than you, or fighting multiple opponents at once that have an equal strength to you, you'll roll a d100.
>Do you use Bo3 or Bo5?
Neither, I find that Best of 3 is too cruel sometimes, and that Best of 5 is too lenient. So we'll be doing a Best of 4. That means the first 4 rolls are the only ones that count, and that the highest number rolled will be the one used.
>So what kind of character will we be able to make?
You'll be playing as a young, non-human child around the same age as Gohan was at the beginning of DBZ.
>Wait, we don't get to decide if we want to play a regular human or a dog president?
Not exactly, while you'll be deciding some backstory traits and how you'll be starting this adventure off, I've realized that my limitations as a QM mean I have a hard time working with a completely group created character, so think of this as me throwing you a template that you can mess around with.
>How do we get stronger? We have to fight Raditz one on one with our eyes closed!
Increasing your Power Level is simple. Every once and a while I'll have you roll a d50, and the higher you roll the higher your power increases. For instance, rolling a 1-9 means you only increased your power by ten, while rolling a 40-49 means you increased your power by 80, and a solid 50 woul've increased it by 160. So basically it doubles each tier.
>Are we a boy or a girl?
Girl
>Are you sticking completely to cannon or can we change things?
Your actions affect the world, who's the say whether or not Vegeta leaves Earth alive like in the manga, or if Chaouzu ends up the strongest Earthling. Anything can happen.

"Well, he seems to be in a foul mood." Kami notes, rubbing his shoulder a bit where Raditz had bumped into him. You glance over at the Guardian, wondering if he's being sarcastic or not.

"Should I go after him?" You ask. "I mean, he really wanted for mister Goku to meet his daddy, but then that big pink guy showed up and ruined everything." Who was that guy anyways?

Kami rubs his chin as he thinks. "I'm not sure Saff, a part of me wants to tell you to chase after him, maybe try to help him. But sometimes people just need to be left alone." Kami turns to you. "By the way, I was going to wait till after everyone was done in the Pendulum room, but would you like to try and use it yourself?"

"What for?"

"You say that you don't remember anything past a year ago, but if you could recall exactly where you were from when you can remember, we might be able to find some clues as to what your past holds."

OP Has Problems Edition.
Welcome to Wake Up Naked In A Field With A Rock. Last thread, much fun was had. We were introduced to a post apocalyptic world, populated with people trying to carve out their meager survival amongst wild animals, ravenous cannibals, radiation, and corpse merchants. A strange power, some say, a curse, holds the people of the land hostage, where death is not the end, and people wake up, naked, in a field, with a rock, aware of the final moments of their past lives. Our players continue to fight for their survival and morality in a cut throat world, rife with insecurity, mistrust, and fear.
>Welcome to the next installment.

We are presently at player capacity. However, every now and then, I do accept a new player.
>NEW PLAYERS!

>>Opposing Checks

You are Captain Carrina Marseille-O'Hara, and this seems like it's going to be a problem.

The SWAT team that took over the scene of your planned raid to capture Senator Hawke, a corrupt politician on Luna with his fingers in a lot of proverbial pies, has eliminated his two remaining bodyguards and captured you. Now you're being forced roughly down a long corridor: your sidearm has been confiscated, and you're flanked on each side by heavily-armed men in ballistic armor. It seems like there's little to no chance for escape, and there won't be until you're back out in the open air.

Finally you're led down a flight of stairs to the entry lobby, then out of the building and into the open air. There's a SWAT van waiting for you, doors already open and facing the front doors of the Senate offices.

Hang on...

Where are all the other vans? This many officers can't have gotten here in a single van, there's no physical way, so why would one van already be parked out here ready to go? Unless... unless this wasn't a hostage recovery mission.

That has to be it. SWAT didn't have orders to recover hostages, they had orders to safely withdraw a single individual from that building: the only questions are who those orders were for and who they came from.

There are almost too many possibilities to name, many of them relatively benign but most of them not so much. The most likely order of events centers around an attempt to recover the Senator, which came too late since the man blew his own brains out before SWAT could effect a rescue. But then the explanation for why they'd be taking you is much worse news: you're likely to be interrogated under the orders of whoever wanted to pull Hawke's bacon out of the fire.

That suggests the orders are coming from a co-conspirator, at least to the degree that they want Hawke's crimes to go unanswered-for. They have an interest. This isn't personal, it's business... and that's what may make it dangerous.

Now the question as the van looms closer is... what do you want to do, based on all this guesswork?

>Call in some Mobile Suit fire support from Catrina, wreck the van and reverse the situation.
>Call in Catrina for extraction. Right now all you want is to get out of this situation.
>Call for Catrina to shadow the van, but you want to see who these guys take you to meet.

Long ago you challenged the armies of light in a battle that would decide the fate of this world. And yet you where defeated, cast down and presumed dead. For centuries you where sealed away, feeling as your power seeps away, your agents exterminated and your armies scattered. That is until some looters decided to crack your tomb open, unaware of what was inside. The world has forgotten your name. Make them remember
But the question is, who where you before your fall?

>The Lord of Flames, Breaker of Chains and The Harbinger of the End. An Archdemon who has escaped hell along with an army of demons, together with your cultist fodder you managed to enslave half the world before they defeated you.

>The Twisting Serpent, The Great Deceiver and The Master of Fate. You where mortal once, until that faithful day in which you read one too many heretical tomb, bargained one too many times with those beyond and something just snapped. You and your coven of mages where able to shape the very winds of magic in your favor before they finally put you down
>The Ratking, Maker of Plagues and Dealer of Death. You where among the rats in the sewers, a beggar that fed on the scrapes of society. That was until you found your talent of controlling rats and disease. You rose up, along with the other poor and forsaken members and took the city from the rich and the powerful. Half the continent was choking on their own guts before they locked you away
>The First King, Chosen by The Light, Traitor to the Gods. You where once a good man, healer of the people, your generosity was legendary. You where the first champion, king of the kingdom of light and you lead your people to glory. That was of course until the light cast you aside for a better champion, after all those years of service. They called you a monster and left you to rot in your tomb.

The skyline of Path's endless cityscape glows with the flashing lights of distant vehicles, police and local security craft descending like carrion birds over the massive Senticom building. The private police force of this district of the city, jointly owned by a number of Senticom subsidiaries, form a perimeter around the base of the building as ambulances touch down nearby. Your flies keep their distance, listening to the commotion as the extraction team waits nearby, watching the situation unfold. You can see lines of employees marching hurriedly out of the main entrance under the watchful eyes of the corporate police. Their radio communications are well encrypted, but you can hear most of them from your nearby drones watching from the shadows.

“Internal security breach has been reported.” A bland synthesized voice says over a loud speaker. “All employees are to evacuate for their safety and report to your nearest security debriefing center immediately.”

General rules:

There is a 10 minute voting period after each post. Non-contradictory votes will be combined as best as possible.

Write-ins for all votes are always welcome and encouraged. They may not all make it into the post or be altered to fit in, but I'll do my best to at least try to address the spirit of the write-in.

Very important or contentious votes may be redone in a stricter voting system as circumstances warrant.

Combat mechanics involve three rolls of 1d100, taking the best, and using the base accuracy and crit ranges of the the PTU system, roughly, but the 'turn order' will be more like the anime, where sometimes you can do a few moves in a row or be hit by a combo of moves yourself, all depending on circumstances. Stronger moves tend to take more time and have more cooldown than weaker moves and also may leave you open to an interrupt, so beware of that timing. Speed is more important for closing ground, intercepting, and other things and doesn't necessarily mean going first.

Pokemon and trainers are unique, and may have certain specializations, skills, or other things that the video-game mechanics might not allow. Some examples: That kung fu Bellsprout in the anime, that crystal Onix, or a Roggenrolla that can fly. Herb's perception skills, pokemon knowledge, context clues in general, and other things will hopefully come into play to avoid completely unfair, unforeseeable bullshit, but expect more bullshit from more advanced trainers.

Call me out on a mistake and receive a suggestive picture, mostly likely a butt.

Pokemon:
Gobble (Munchlax)
Mace (Roggenrola)
Belladonna (Roselia)
Dice (Croconaw)
Vulpix (Vulpix)

Location: Eelilee island, Fire Temple

Recently: You travelled the long way, had a Burmy swarm encounter, came to a tiny community of mainlanders, meet another trainer, meet Murkrow again, and get spooked something fierce!

Midday finds you rifling through the stack of leftover supplies from the cattle drive to Riverport, trying to figure out what will keep for the eight man expedition to Bralin. You have to thank Tatiana for the suggestion, her having made it when you went to ask her about how prisoner exchanges work with the Casimiran rule of four. Having assured you that having a fifth wheel would not draw anymore attention than having your band of Kutkh stroll up to the gates. She then asked when you were expecting to head out, and suggested re-purposing the remaining supplies when you mentioned you were just waiting on the fresh delivery. Most of this stuff would be squirreled away into the larder and left to Tai to dispense. The young man, among his other talents, has a particularly good head for spoilage, and you've not had much go to waste since you hired him on. Satisfied with your sorting, you let Tai and his little beastfolk entourage make off with the leftovers, judging by their haste, you bet some of it is going into dinner tonight. With what you pulled out, you can probably manage the trip to Bralin tomorrow, provided the first batch of supplies McCain ordered arrives this afternoon as scheduled.

Heading out, you do feel some concern should the Phoenix make a play at the ranch while you're gone. You could see about some earthworks, but you're skeptically about what good they'd actually do in the event of an attack. Other than that, you've largely freed up the rest of the day to do with as you please.

The earthworks would be good for defending the main house, so if we want to be on the safe side, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a redoubt constructed

A: Trench
B: Earth wall with spikes and reinforced with stone or wood.
(They should be no taller than the shoulders of the average height of the defenders. There should then be ~3 feet of level ground behind them. Past that you dig it down some more so that if you're not on the walls then you're not in danger.)
C: Entrance
D: Magozine.

Another look at one that isn't a shitty drawing.
(Water in the trench is optional, but not usually used.)

As to how well it would work: it would provide a safe place to retreat too that would be easily defended and well stocked. We have no cannons, but they aren't needed. So long as no-one (other than Mari, as she can fly) tries to go over the top, and they don't ignore it the Pheonix should easily be defeated by our men if they all man the fort. It would need to be on a hill with no vegetation near it, though. Also, if it's on a hill that overlooks the main house then the Pheonix would HAVE to attack it, and they shouldn't be able to get any cannons in here, so the only worry would we mages, but we can probably place runs to reinforce it against magics.
I'm all for being careful, and having a redoubt would put me at ease.

For House & Dominion: Civil War: The Final Days (56)

You are Sonia Reynard, Viscount of Rioja and a member of House Jerik-Dremine. You and your House have gained power and prestige thanks to victories over the past few years. While still small numerically the other Houses of the greater Dominion have begun to take notice of your strength and influence.

The civil war that has consumed the Dominion seems to be drawing to a close. A cease fire between the Nasidum aligned Houses and those allied with the Ruling House is now in effect. House Bonrah has been occupied by you and your allies, while the once mighty House Nasidum is reeling from the loss of their most important shipyard.

House Jerik-Dremine has survived the onslaught faced on their side of the galaxy, helping some of your neighbours perservere in the process.

While things seemed to be nearing a conclusion in some areas in others they soon worsened.

A combined fleet from Houses Kharbos and Che'len have crossed the border into Ruling House territory, headed straight for the capital.

Made up primarily of a mix of Dominion, Aries and Iratar hardware, the fleet seems to be fielding several new ship classes. Some are simply old Supers Che'len has finally finished upgrading, but others are far more worrying.

A number of battlecruiser sized ships looking like a curved metallic shell are far more alien. Alliance Intel believes the ship to be using an open type fusion reactor identical to one you saw used by terrorists attacking Rioja but scaled up. That attack was determined to be the work of the Kythera, a society theorized to be entirely composed of machines or AIs. They have advanced nanite tech far beyond what the Factions can produce.

Between intelligence reports and other warnings House Helios has decided to initiate AI War protocol across the entire Dominion. Vulnerable lines of communications have been cut and every available fleet within range is now rushing to aid the defense of the Dominion's Capital.

Even with the high bandwidth com relays going offline the capital's communications infrastructure is extensive. It was intended to be powerful enough for the leaders of every House to maintain ties with their homeworlds while visiting the capital. The current dynasty has rarely had the unity necessary to call for a mass gathering of the leaders of every House, but the option has been there. The hundreds of embassies alone would strain the com capacity of most worlds.

A race to the capital resulted in your reinforcements arriving just slightly ahead of the enemy. Even then, only the timely arrival of a gravity well generator delayed the Che'len and Kharbos fleets from immediately jumping into orbit.

Fighting in orbit has been fierce and your side has begun to employ Veckron torpedoes in an effort to counter the enemy's use of antimatter weaponry.

A priority message from House Helios stating that the surface defenders must hold the Helios embassy until the arrival of their fleet convinced you to send troops ground side. Rather than remain in orbit you went with them, handing over control of the fleet to Alex and his subordinates.

Deploying with your Dante class gunship, your forces reached the surface without incident. With the Jerik-Dremine embassy lacking the ability to support your army you instead disembarked at the Helios facilities before other allies could arrive to take the best parking spots.

The sky dims as weapons fire strikes the planetary shields.

Around the capital defense weapons are being raised into position. Missile launchers and more point defense guns than you could hope to count. Starship grade particle beam cannons are pointed skyward as well. They’ll use repulsors to punch a hole through the atmosphere shortly before firing.
A bit of a grey area as far as the Factions Treaty is concerned but you doubt people will be complaining in this instance.

You and your wingman set down on the edge of landing pads towards the top of the Helios upper spires and wait, watching the shields dim repeatedly with successive impacts.

"We haven't been stuck on the receiving end of these planetary assaults before." comments Rufaro over your private channel. "It's a bit like waiting for someone to break down your door."

To the Ruling House's credit the shields seem to be taking a tremendous beating. If there were any planets you'd expect to survive multiple Scorcher attacks this is it.

Vanderwal breaks in on your channel.
"We're detecting smaller air bursts above the city, not just explosions. It looks like some of the incoming warheads are either disintegrating or dispersing aerosol."

It doesn't take people on the ground long to figure out how to respond. Every EM pulse rigged phase weapon that can see sky opens fire. Your gunner activates the top two point defense weapons on your Dante as well. Waves of energy fire upward washing over the descending nanites.

"Planetary shield is penetrated!" reports the pilot of the other Dante.

Some of the fire is getting through to strike the shields closer to the city as a hole opens in the high altitude defenses. Aries drones pour through the gap followed by assault transports and Kharbos Frigates configured for planetary assault.
The big planetary defense guns around the city open fire and explosions begin to blossom just below the opening.

Descending ships and starfighters are coming in at well past terminal velocity, using repulsors or shields to keep the atmosphere from burning them to a crisp. Despite them spreading out the big guns continue to focus on ships coming through the hole, in an effort to score as many hits as possible.

The occasional shot of siege weapon fire hits the transports from above as well. The fleet must be doing what they can to help contest the landing.

"Situation in orbit?"

"Not doing too well, but there is some good news. The two larger stations that are under attack have been boarded but they're still holding despite damage. What's left of the Krath fleet are using their Veckron warheads as heavy SP Torpedoes. An allied fleet has managed to board and mostly capture a Kharbos Heavy."

"How is Forbearance?"
"Taking some hits and she's been holed in a few places. Still alive though."
