As you feel your mind begin to slowly awaken from your slumber, you feel strange. Well, no; That wasn’t exactly correct. You felt fine, it was your sleeping bag that felt strange. It was certainly far warmer than it had used to be, and that's saying something because you know for a fact that you had left it unzipped the evening prior.

It was also softer, in two ways.

The first was more of the texture of the bedding itself, it was certainly far more pliant than usual, cradling your head far better than it had previously. Perhaps it was that comfort that had allowed you to lull yourself to sleep. The second texture was what it was partially covered in. The material was deceptively soft and it was at this sort of time that you wished that you had your hands still to simply run them along it.

Instead you opted to do the only thing you could, which in your tired mind was nuzzle closer to it.

It was only when you felt the soft touch of a clearly non-male hand that you decided to open your eyes and see what a combination of hell and heaven must of looked like. Though for a moment you had to say it was a strange sight.

It was mostly orange, orange and yellow.

The castle continues its preparations for the battle of the century. For them, they have all day to prepare for the festivities. You think after the big event, there's going to be several contests, awards, parades. For the people organizing the event, the day is just starting. For you, it feels like it's almost to an end.

It's about at this time you start to wonder if you've prepared for the fight adequately. If you had another week, you would have tried to maybe spend more time trying to learn the magic side of things. Maybe you would have spent more time mentoring the younger heroes, because you're starting to realize that they might have a disadvantage in fighting someone many centuries older than they are. There's also a part of you who wonders if it still isn't too late to get some last-minute training done with them. These would be great thoughts to have maybe yesterday or the day before that, but you didn't have those thoughts then. Nor do you have two or three days to prepare for those last-minute concerns.
In fact, you have less than twenty minutes.

You are Jack Albator, handsome fighter, mighty warrior, and are about to go head-to-head with the mightiest warrior of them all. This battle is a contest between your hero team and a hero from a long-lost kingdom. He's older than you, faster, more powerful, and most likely mightier.
Unlike you, though. He doesn't have an army or five other heroes at his back. It's going to be everyone against him, and you like your odds.

That's something you'll have to worry about, soon. Right now, you're having a last-minute pep talk with one of your crew. That person being the white-haired boy known only as 'Dorje'. He's having a peculiar problem, and you're not sure that you can relate.

"So that's the problem yer havin'? Ye don't like that the girls are pushin' ye around?" You set down your mug of liquid encouragement.
"Sort-of. I think Eileen likes me, and she's my summoner. At the same time, she's really pushing me to go on a date with Kayda. What do I do?"

The raucously active nightlife of Coruscant was a far cry from the placidity of Byss, though it was not an unwelcome change. On most worlds in the galaxy, the arrival of Duchess Ederlathh Palopides would be treated with fanfare and ceremony, but on Imperial Center, so many ranking dignitaries came and went that such festivities simply weren't possible. The local governor, Moff Volen had been kind enough to supply a specially decorated platoon of Stormtroopers as an honor guard, supplementing the squad of Shocktroopers already accompanying her.

Ederlathh was sixteen years old, considered by some to be the most eligible bachelorette in the galaxy, and the only living relative of Emperor Palpatine, albeit distantly. She had been dropped off on the landing pad near the heart of the world's entertainment district, drawing many a curious glance, especially at this time of night.

Ederlathh brushed back a loose lock of hair as she watched the shuttle, and Commander Tyrna with it, climbing away into the night sky while her Shocktrooper escort tromped off the landing pad. The nearby crowd of casual onlookers was beginning to disperse, losing interest in this momentary distraction.

"Did you tell her?"

Ederlathh scoffed, slightly irritated at the question. "No, of course not."

"And does she know?"

A better question, and here Ederlathh was more thoughtful. "Now, how am I supposed to know that?" There was a long silence and Ederlathh exhaled before answering again. "No. I don't think so."

"You took a large risk, I hope you think it was worth it."

Ederlathh mulled it over, a privileged smile gracing her lips, "Yes, I think it was."

General Rules

15 min voting period after each main post. Write-ins votes are welcomed/encouraged. Votes that are non-contradictory and add to the narrative will be considered. Think 'Rule of Cool'

Combat mechanics/skill test will be done using best three out of five rolls of 1d100, unless otherwise specified. Modifiers may come into play depending on the MC's statistics which can improve odds and vice versa as the QM sees fit. The QM will do their best to inform players of when such modifiers will come up during votes. (Example: Aim at a target at long range with a scattershot weapon will require a higher roll to make a successful hit than a normal blaster weapon).

Training with other bots and successful missions can add to your overall abilities. Strong character relationships with your comrades can also benefit the MC as it will improve battle synergy and moral (less likely to want to fall back/retreat). Of course the vice versa can come into play as well. A failed mission may have consequences but result in unforeseen outcomes (In the show, Tarantulus, Blackarachnia, & Quickstrike were supposed to secure an energon post. The Maximals interfered, resulting in the loss of the post BUT Tarantulus gained a new lair.).

Keep an eye out at your energon build up levels; too much time in robot mode outside of a structure, such as a base can cause negative impacts on your combat maneuvers/skill test, including potential loss of spark. In the event of loss of spark, pending the results of a vote, a time lapse in the narrative will happen and a new stasis pod will fall. (Roll for new character or with a high relation level, a blank protoform will descend and your allies will reignite your spark)

Last time on Beast Wars Quest
Warpath followed the Maximals to the Axalon. After an odd experience while shut down, he gain a bit more intelligence on the local areas and Predacon forces. After talking with Rhinox and Dinobot, he's getting some additional equipment

Last time our young protagonist a shipwright decides to take the letter his grandfather game him to the Company. Who hired up and then transferred him to the new world. However before he left he tried to see the execution of a Sea Witch. Only for the city to come under attack through the fog. On the way to the square he ran into a group of very lost undead pirates. After that he changed his mind and went back until his ship left for the colony.

When he arrived at the colony after getting himself settled and meeting some important people. He received a mysterious ingot from a privateer admiral and then he successfully achieves a major breakthrough in regards to protecting ships against sea monsters.

Thus continues the adventures of a shipwright in the new world. Where monsters tread, the natives are restless, and magic is real.

The smell of baking chocolate and pastry fills my room as I lay by the open window, twisting my locket around between my fingers lost in thought. Worry is clouding my head, making it hard to really think clearly without falling back to the same thought. That viper....the one thing that worries me about it now is the fact that I don't know if its nasty ability to make people's fuse oh so much shorter is a type of magic that is common for chaos monsters. I mean I figure we'll have to deal with dangers and obstacles like that or worse. But I don't like the idea of having to fight a friend, even if it is the risk we're constantly walking by.

Closing my eyes, I feel the cold salt scented sea breeze and the warm touch of sun light on my face. I shouldn't worry about my job, but still I'd like to know if I'll have to deal with things like that often. It'd be really troublesome and just painful and annoying to have to face enemies who can turn my friends against me, or being turned against them without knowing what was going on. Well I could just ask Holi how common such monsters are.

I open my eyes to mouth, and close the later with a warm smile as I see the fairy floating in front of the oven with her oversized hat lifted up so she can get a better looking at the still baking cake. Well I guess I could ask her later, she looks a little....occupied right now. Don't want to distract her.

The sound of wood being carved pierces my ears, and I turn to see Lyra sitting at the table, holding an odd looking half formed puppet, silently working.

"Oh? when did you get here?" I ask as she glances over at me "I don't remember letting you in or you saying good morning"

"Oh" She says, blushing a bit with a bashful tone to her voice "Well I might've forgotten to say hi but....well I just slipped through the shadows last night"

"You've been here all night? I mean I'm not surprised since you kind of live here but" I say frowning as she looks away "I was a littler worried about you"

"....Sorry" She sighs, setting her carving tools down "it just skipped my mind, really"

"Where were you last night anyways?" I ask as she smiles

"oh, I was just getting some tools and proper wood" She says smacking the puppet in front of her, gently "Can't work with driftwood, you know...Oh we need to go get me some oils and paint eventually...soon actually, so yeah, top of our priorities if monsters don't show up again"

"Chaos monsters of course" I say with a chuckle as Lyra shrugs

"Don't want Juniper to eat anything she shouldn't either" She says as I sigh and try to reply but when I open my mouth

Welcome back to Anime Delinquent Quest!

Last time we left off not a lot happened.

Nakai Youma ran out of class after being given the go ahead by the teacher, and saved Fumo Sen from some crazy ice lady.

After confirming that you will fight Sen once school gets out, you went over to check on your bro, Hisato.

Hisato was getting threatened by some members of the Brando Troop gang. However, your appearance caused them to shit themselves, and leave behind some yen and smokes for you.

However, you then found out a rather horrible fact; Chie and Hisato's sister are becoming friends.

Now, on with the Quest!

This quest, as the title suggests, takes place in the world of Dragon Ball. You're playing as a thirty year old man named Tofoo, and will adventure through the story of the Dragonball series alongside characters such as Goku, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, and many others. Through your actions, you can make significant changes to the story, and perhaps even become the strongest fighter on Earth.
