Instead, describe a crazy setting, be creative! This won't follow the 'low-fantasy but with weird civ races' format that most of these tend to follow.

When we last left Slate, he was at a marshy site being supervised by Mister Neutral, and thinking about finally finding away to conceal his psionic presence from others, more specifically by retrieving some materials he had obtained for that purpose and finding someone to turn them into something he can use.

Last time, we fumbled (literally!) our way through a conversation with Foxy, who's willing to stick with us if only we avoid plunging into madness. We also acquired a VR pod and received from our Boss a potent anti-security device.

You are an aspiring warlord with grandiose ambition and seek to steak your claim among histories heroes, only one problem, you're broke and have no army.

You must rally an army and attempt to forge an empire (or city state) out of the land.

The world has pre-renaissance technology level, but no access to gunpowder. Well made steel is highly prized as well as skilled warriors.
Tribes/Provinces:

Stromanta:
The largest and most influential Kingdom with the largest army and biggest fortresses. Despite having the most sea access they have very small naval presence.

Varg:
Raiders and ship builders on the north-western coast. Verocious warriors with a prosperous slave trade.

Nomilo:
They hide between the cover of two great mountain ranges. They are the smallest tribe and only survive because they excel at ambushing and surprise attacks, and their allegiance with Stromanta.

Harbia:
Mostly farmlands and forests. They have no standing army nor any real governer, but are ready to rally under any banner in order to defend their homeland.

Krithil:
A great trade centre in the east. A free city where you can buy nearly anything. They are defended in most part by highly paid and skilled mercenaries.

You begin in a tavern in Harbia, drowning your sorrows and mourning the loss of your wife and child. You are angry at the world, and want to see the world brought to its knees.

You manage to snap out of the daze, as you stumble forth further on the garden path.

As you swiftly venture forth, you hear in the distance the Valkyrie call out to you, stating that they were going to bring aid your way, before you hear a loud boom of them taking off in the distance..

Beyond the water, in the distance past the clearing of dana-trees you see a settlement, as the path splits off.

Before you now, however, on the main trail, traces of a thick black sludge seem to line the path, as though it had been dragged along, the gelatinous forms bubbling in the breeze as you hear a light sizzle and the smell of dust and marrow.

A roar echoes through the misty streets, overpowering the moans of the innumerable shells of the walking dead swarming through your door. The sickening crunch of bodies being crushed, torn in half or ripped apart by … something, fill the air soon after. Lilly trembles in fear, and even Sarah seems appalled- one of the zombies manage to land a hit on her while she is distracted, but she just tears it apart like the rest, with her bare hands. You get on top of a discarded chair to try and get a better view through the blood-stained window to the outside, and what you see makes you regret it deeply.

A giant creature of malformed flesh- something straight out of the nightmare of a madman- stands on its 6 legs, eerily reminiscent of the posture of an insect, yet made out of flesh and bone. Its mouth opens vertically as it swallows a zombie whole- Its maw filled with misshapen , blackened fangs- And its eyes a deep black- as if no light escaped them. Its visage terrifies you instinctively- but something inside you stirs, as if emboldened by the task at hand.

You have to hunt. Or you shall not survive.

You run back to your friends- Lilly looks at you, scared. You grip your crowbar hard.

Last time on EDQ, we bumped Elizabeth's opinion of us to +120 Opinion and she vented with us a bit, and we got her opinion perk which is an addition action as Elizabeth in Civ Mode.

Elizabeth cuddles up to you, secure in your arm... And your other arm, fondling her breasts... She doesn't mind, and she kisses you.

What's so special about this little coin? I flip the oval shaped coin between two of my fingers, holding it up to the sun as I lay on the floor of my and Yvette's room, my tail laying limp next to me on the sunlit wooden boards. I narrow my eyes as I hold the coin closer to my face. Its really detailed and shit, even if its made out of cheap metal it'd cost a shitload to make it look this good. And it looks like its made out of gold but....well I don't know much about metals to tell if its the real deal. Doesn't feel like paint, that's for sure. I sigh and put the coin at an angle so more light falls on its face. Oh, never noticed it was this polished before. Or that there was more on it other than two dragons that look exactly the fucking same. Its really hard to see but, there's something wrapped around both of them like a bunch of ropes or a spiders web...wow did they really go to the effort to carve in all the scales on these little dragons? That's pretty fucking impressive actually.. But it does seem pretty pointless as well, I mean who's going to look that closely at a coin.

I bite my tongue, as I realize I'm doing just that and feel really stupid and embarrassed as I sit up to get a better look at the coin. Whats around the dragon anyways.they don't look like scratches, which is weird since I've been playing with the thing since I got it, and Clara had it before me, so it'd make sense for there to be at least a scratch or two from all the time its spent around claws but....these aren't scratches. Its hard to tell, even looking as close as I am right now but.

But they kind of look like. My attention is torn away from the coin as Yvette yawns, waking up and moving her roots through her "bed" as she moves her arms down, looking a lot less like a tree than she usually does when she's sleeping, even shrinking down a bit

I swallow as I turn back to the coin, feeling a weird sense of...dread? is that the word I'm thinking of? Yeah those are definatly roots, and that's really....really fucking creepy.

I glance back at Yvette as she rubs her eyes, her bark groaning and cracking as she moves her arms, the weird carvings and tattoos on them seeming to glow.

And come to think of it, the two girls I've met with coins like these were pretty crazy...I mean in two ways. Clara threw me INTO a concrete wall like I was a godamn baseball, and that Tavi chick nearly dragged me to the bottom of the sea like I was a plastic bag. I mean monster girls are strong but...that's still pretty crazy. I frown, and when I think about it, when I roar nowaday's, people either piss themselves or run as fast as they can away from me. Not to mention I got dragged slammed into a fucking wall and dragged under the sea and then back up and didn't even lose consciousness.

You’ve slumbered for a long time. How you fell asleep, you cannot remember, but what you do remember is that there are thousands of others. Yes, you all sealed yourself together into many rooms, safely underground, beneath the great Ziggurat. You were all given pendants, and upon putting yours on, your memory blacks out.
But now you’re awake, and you open your eyes. It’s dark, the torches must have gone out a long time ago. Fortunately, you belong to the priest caste and were taught magic. You create a floating light, and soon find out why you had lost your memory: You were petrified.
Every single naga in the room with you are petrified, except for you. As you look down, you notice your own pendant has shattered and turned to dust. The enchantment placed on it broke with it.
It is strange indeed, as you were all told you would be awoken by the great Naga God in paradise.
What do you do?

A while ago somebody started a civ about naga and abandoned it not long after. I’m going to try and make something out of it because fuck it, it’s too good potential to pass out on. Starting scenario will be different though.
I will post if I will retire / stop posting and most likely specify when I’ll be back. If I don’t continue the quest I will post it instead of acting like shitty qm’s who just abandon thread without a word.

Well killer servos, traitor acquaintances, and daemons oh my. You have successfully managed to foil the said daemon's plan with the help of Drauge but you still have a major problem.

That being the actual demon in the fucking room who looks so man it may actually start spitting fire at you. though you probably should not you yell at the top of your lungs "JUST AS PLANNED"

at the least now the daemon is not going to throw you and the entire ship into the warp without protection.
