Best detain them, they’ll talk eventually. In the meantime you’ve got things to do. This mention of civil resistance isn’t good at all. Your grasp on the population was tentative at best, you never had enough men to run it perfectly. An open uprising could mean the end of it.

The first thing you do is inform Vasquez, you don’t need to keep this to yourself. He congratulates you when you finish, “Good job finding this. I still believed it was a false alarm. We need to act quickly, they probably saw those two come in.”

Your talk goes on about what you should do. There’s talk about the arsenal, the colonists haven’t had access to it and it could be useful to you. No doubt that there’s going to be a play for that at one point. Though you probably won’t need it if you harden your defences and restriction on the town.

One outlandish plan that comes up is abandoning the colony. Just packing up and going to the arsenal to fortify it. Take enough food and it might work, leaving the colonists to their own troublemaking. There’s still the fighter support, three fully armed fighter waiting in orbit. They could destroy the town. Though there’d be repercussions, command certainly wouldn’t like it.

>Fortify your position, sweep the town and do something with the suspected rebels
>Move to secure the arsenal (Who will you send?)
>Abandon the town and move to the the arsenal
>Destroy the town, they deserve it for resisting you benevolent rule
>Other?

>>Move to secure the arsenal
Our second with the redshirts and the two other Makkl, have one fighter be on standby to provide them support just in case.
>Fortify your position, sweep the town and do something with the suspected rebels
Send a warning to the other occupying force, in case they too got these false alarms.
Have the town representative brought to you and tell him that shit may hit the fan soon enough and that razing the place to the ground IS something you've been ordered if it'll bring peace quickly enough, though you'd rather avoid that.

Each player will begin the game with pop 100. You'll “spawn” in a hex very hospitable to your species. You'll be able to survive there even if you do not build shelter. You're either tolerant to the elements, or there are natural features in the hex for living in.

Fog of war is in effect, if you haven't been there. You don't know it exists. A magical fog covers the face of the planet, and when it recedes, everyone is present and all ecosystems are running and we find ourselves at turn 0.25. We're going to go in seasons for now.

When your people spawn, they have all the knowledge to survive in their home hex, in the stone age. Although they don't know how to build shelters, there are members of each group that “know how to do things”. Bob knows how to start fires, Linda can find edible mushrooms, Frank can tap out a funky beat on a log, Wilma knows how to smack rocks together and make ax heads, etc.

>Establish an Annual Festival
Bloom-time. The dawn of a new year. And the anniversary of Gurion and the wolves deaths. Now that the tribe has had some time to figure out this whole death and after-death thing, they realize that the world they were placed in may not be as nice to them as they are to it. So now, with the promise of new life on the horizon, they gather together to celebrate the life they have and pay respects to the life that has been lost. To liven things up, they have food and games galore, even the animals join in. Before they had informal tests of courage and the like, but this year they decide to start up an annual competition to encourage personal skill development. High-diving, wrestling, staff fighting, archery, elk racing, tree/rock climbing, canoe racing, even artisan competitions to see who can make the best quality woodcarvings and ceramics. The winner of each event is rewarded with a crown of elfnip leaves. At the end of the festival they assemble and form rudimentary prayers to the Nature Spirit to guide, protect and strengthen us, before finally placing small offerings at the foot of the totems, Gurion’s doll and Thaichon’s meditation tree, which has now been designated as special with a rope tied loosely around it. Bones and meat for the wolf totem, a small ceramic pot of herbs for the raven totem, some nice flowers for the doll and some herbal ashes for the tree. They now feel more united than ever, redoubling their efforts to improve themselves for the tribe and prevent future tragedies.

>Now that the herbalists have documented all the local herbal flora, they experiment with various methods of preparation to improve their utility. With ceramics, they can make proper mortar and pestles and teapots to boil better tinctures. This time they focus on healing concoctions.

Once recovered, you helped Lapis and Lazuli spring a trap on Cell, with Bra blasting him away! He runs the back of his neck, laughing nervously. “I... guess I am.”

You ruffle his hair softly. “It’ll be fine, son. Don’t worry.”

Out of the corner of your eye, you see Bra looking at him curiously, Vegeta glaring at you as you approach the Hyperbolic Time Chamber’s entrance. Mr. Popo and Trip stand at the entrance. “We have prepared the three scenarios you requested, Maple.”

“Mama, what scenarios?” Gohan asks.

“The Hyperbolic Time Chamber can load up three simulations from the Pendulum Room, and I requested...”

Hello, /qst/. Let's fill this map and use it for a fantasy nation builder game tomorrow. Tell me what terrain you want on it and where and I'll add it to the hexes. The map area is about the size of Central Europe.

Feel free to fluff any terrain you want, and / or I'll fluff it as well / instead.

“You aren’t going to let me go, are you.”

“Mm.”

You’ve been waking hours before morning, recently. Today was in a store filled with strange smells, in a room where you found a certain half-fae woman sleeping in a wooden chair next to your bed.

You poked at Claritia a bunch to tell her you were leaving and got vague murmuring in reply. With Ashtia as a bigger wolf carrying a not-awake Lulette on her back, and with Bob accompanying the halves of your sadly broken shovel in your bucket, you left the building to find Elena.

The red-haired girl was standing by one of her totems just outside the city’s walls, and you’re next to her tugging on her robes.

Silver’s Claw is sheathed in its scabbard, strung onto her waist. She still looks like she hasn’t slept in very a long time.

“I guess that’s fine.”

The witch tips the contents of a ceramic vial into her mouth, then hands you an identical one. It tastes like bubbles.

The walk back to her swamp is long, and that lets Elena tell you her story.

The Talon Marshes were always corrupted, as far as we were concerned, and it’s been around nine years since we had settled there. My mother and I, I mean.

Stopping only for a moment to set up shelter, my mother only had to walk in the direction of the weird to find the source of the corruption deep in the swamp. It was something you might call a portal, though that makes it sound more deliberate or ordered. More of a rip in the border of our reality, and it was leaking something horrible into the land.

My mother was a shrewd witch and a master alchemist, and in her years she had hoarded all sorts of things. One of them was Silver’s Claw, an indestructible weapon that exists physically here and in the Veil.

That rift was something that felt alien. My instinct was to leave and never come back. My mother figured she should stab it with the sword. She was always fearless.

It worked, one way or another. Closed the rift much like stuffing a plug into a hole. That dealt with, she decided the swamp was to become home.

My mother’s motivation was knowledge. She’d go off and withdraw the sword just to see how the land changed. She’d take ingredients with her, and come back to test whether corrupted substances had useful properties. Typical for an alchemist to care about little else, really.

Years later, we met a young woman.

The nearby city was at the border of a war, and that woman was being forced into it. She wanted a way to help her survive, and into the swamp she chased tales about ebonwood staves stabbed into the mud and marked with red ink, about watchful crows that perched overhead, and about the powerful witch that commanded them.

The rumours were about my mother, of course.

At this point she was still documenting her findings, and had succeeded in finding a mix of substances that could suppress the corruption. She had more complicated experiments in mind though, and needed materials and items that weren’t easily accessible so far from the capital.

So when that girl arrived, the witch thought she’d found a novel solution.

A blood pact was made. My mother would lend the woman Silver’s Claw for five years, after which the sword was to be returned and the young woman would become the witch’s servant.

Small favours and errands, nothing dangerous, my mother told her. I don’t think the assurances were needed; from what I saw, Aletta Ephon was a girl with a desperate fear of death.

Which is why she accepted so easily, and why the blood pact should have worked; the offender’s life is the punishment for breaking it.

But when the Witch Of Crows departed to fulfill the pact and retrieve the sword, she came back with a fatal wound across her chest.

The baroness didn’t know she had killed my mother, and through fending off her patrols into the swamp the name of the Witch Of Crows fell to me. But I never had my mother’s skill in potion-making, and our stock of ingredients were finite either way.

What was initially for revenge became necessity. To keep the corruption from growing, I needed to take the sword back.

“I don’t know how Ephon ended up the way she did. The magician with her didn’t have a powerful necromancer’s mark, and lichdom is not a simple ritual.

If anything, it probably happened during the war. She died in combat, enchanted sword or no, and some madman gave her a ‘second chance’. The rest,” Elena sighs, “were her death throes.”

There’s quiet for a while, other than the footsteps of your sedate pace on the road. Lulette wakes, mumbling in some language you think she just made up, fluttering towards the potted plant in your bucket.

“It’s a good thing you did what you did,” the red-haired girl says. “I don’t know if I could have restored it like this from being used as a phylactery.”

Whatever was done to Silver’s Claw changed it in some way Elena couldn’t understand; she’s glad to say that kind of magic isn’t her strong suit. But that also means she doesn’t know how to handle what happened to you.

The hole in your chest wasn’t a hole when you woke up, but it didn’t heal perfectly. The corrupted sword left a strange purple scarring. Your clothes are still ripped, their enchantment slowly knitting the fabric back together, and at the moment you can still look down and see the wound.

It doesn’t look good. The colours there are broken. You wonder how you should fix it. Should you smack yourself with a shovel?

... Maybe.

The red-haired girl looks at the blackened scar, and the hole in your mark. She apologises, for getting you mixed up in her tale. You reply with a shake of your head.

Using his own ring against him, you managed to bait E.Honda into a trap. Knocking the fatty out entirely. A straight win!

While fighting... You noted Honda's "Hundred Hand Slap" technique that allowed him to deliver single hand slaps at blinding speed. You could definitely use that!

Lucas learned: SPECIAL MOVE:MACHINE GUN BLOW (MGB)!!!
----------
So, your first fight is over. E.Honda certainly wasn't as hard as you thought he would be. His fans were pretty mad, but understandably so.

Chun-Li congratulates you afterwards, but you're still pretty nervous after she likely followed you. You greet and ask her what she's doing around here.

"I came to see the fight on my break. I really didn't think you had it in you, but you won!" She exclaims. "I was hoping you and I could talk about some things? I've been working with many fighters in my line of work these days."

You can't tell if she wants to chat with or interrogate you. But you just nod. Only an hour into Japan and you almost got mugged and won a fight against a well known sumo-wrestler. It's pretty late at night, and you should rest. But Chun-Li is likely more than she lets on. You decide to walk with her to a small café and sit at a corner table. Neither of you order anything.

"Alright, Lucas. I'd to know if anything peculiar happened prior to your bout. There's been increasing crime in the area."

Yup, she's a police officer. Barely even hiding it. She probably knows exactly what happened, but wants to confirm it. You've watched enough crime-television to know, right? If it's important, maybe it's worth investigating alone.

What should you say?

A: >Tell her some grey-uniform wearing thug tried to jump you

B: >Bluff and try to investigate yourself later.

C: >Attempt to flirt

D: >"I'm the one asking the questions here!"

E: >Avoid the question and try to bolt, !@?$ the police!

You are Miranda Styles, a relatively unscrupulous magical girl currently working for Silver Eye Solutions, a umbrella corporation for magical girl mercenaries such as yourself, located in scenic The Intersection, a dimensional nowhere and everywhere where you rest, recuperate, live, and get details for your next job.

And right now, you’re on a rooftop talking to a potential target. Speficially, Owlia, traitor to the Alusian people- your current clients, and commander of the military force that you, your friends Izumi and Lorelei, and the mercenary company you’ve teamed up with, Dynamic Methods, are currently fighting in this skyworld. And yet, she’s less frustrated by your efforts and more...genuinely curious how you did it at all. After briefly entertaining her in a matter of crystal magic theory...you find yourself a touch curious (along with a desire to delay to allow yourself to recuperate a bit).

The result of that curiosity is you looking square at her through those owl helmet eyes. Why’re you on their side if you care about something like that?”

Her body stills; a question she’s not sure she was expecting was asked, and now she has to answer. She melts into something resembling casual resignation. “Well. You really wanna know?” She lolls her head back as if in lament. “Two reasons. One, because the Alusian Council is STUPID. They’ve always been STUPID, and they’re always going to be STUPID. They don’t get it, and they don’t WANT to get it! Crystals can be more than just weapons systems and the occasional streetlight! They can do things for us we’d never dream of by ourselves! Self-propelled flight. How I got up here? Flight crystal in the collar. Physical improvement! I’m far stronger than I look. How? Power crystal under the chest armor. Makeup and changing our appearance! You can’t see it right now, but I don’t look anything like I did before, thanks for a Designer crystal near my forehead! Teleportation!” She pauses briefly. “...well, that one’s still a work in progress, but it’ll happen! MY POINT IS.”

Why is she pointing at you- oh you hope that was a joke.

“Crystals can allow us to manipulate the basics of our reality; change it to suit our whims, and exceed our own, normal inborn limitations!” She slumps forward. “And those IDIOTS at the Council refuse to even CONSIDER the benefits before ‘how big of an explosion it can make or help make.’ They keep saying it’s ‘too dangerous’. That the risks are ‘unknowable’. That’s why you do RESEARCH, YOU LOUTS!” She’s near yelling at the air, now...it’s honestly kind funny. At least before she turns back to you. “But Cylica…Cy...she understood. UnderSTANDS. She knows that sometimes, you have to take risks. It’s not always going to be clean and neat, no. But that’s progress. That’s science. That’s how we got the Anais Relay in the FIRST place. And that’s why we have all these new technologies! And THAT’S why we’re WINNING!” She takes a few steps forward, and you’re tempted sorely to step back, if only to stay out of her capable range.

‘Miranda, evac en route to your position! Hold out a bit longer!’ The comm goes off in your ear- it seems like Owlia still hasn’t heard. Egh. Hopefully you can keep her ranting for a bit...

Fortunately, she doesn't disappoint.

“And soon, once we have control of Mageria as a whole, I’ll be able to PROVE it. Cylica’s a bit heavy-handed, sure, but I know I can talk her down from some of the more radical ideas she has. And once we implement my crystal technologies to the masses, everyone will realize the truth! History will simply be written as this whole war being a nasty, if necessary, messup that resulted in a golden age of crystal tech. And it’ll be me and Cylica that brought it forward!”

There’s a brief silence. “As for reason number two…” And suddenly she sounds a lot shyer, a lot quieter.

And if you couldn’t tell she was blushing before, you’re pretty damn sure she is now. “...Love makes you do really silly things sometimes, okay? She...she’s just so...FASCINATING. Every time we met in battle, I couldn’t look away. Couldn’t dismiss what she said. Even when my squad...my friends...tried to tell me to ignore her, that it was a trick...” She laughs, hollow. “Well, I always WAS a stubborn one.”

>...Wonder if she could be tempted away from this… (How?)

Nice dream, pity we're in opposite sides. Maybe we can advise the council to take note of your observations.

Cry because OP never delivered.

We are Sirena Le Doux and we seek revenge against our former master. So far, we've grown more powerful, but there is much more to learn. With our list of allies and teachers slowly growing, we won't stop until we've reached the top, because that's where our former master waits.

Continuing right from where we left off, our hero found herself in a competition to become the next Witch Queen: the Black Gauntlet. Thrown into another realm with only her magic and her wits against thirty other competitors who desperately want the title as much as she, we must now survive in a deadly game of... well, death!

You send the amazon, the least-damaged of your current minions, out to act as bait and walk around the chamber beyond the one you are in. Despite this, a few hours pass and no one takes the bait. Having healed yourself through your meditation spell to perfect condition, you begin to wonder what is going on. How many are left? Have the others all gone their separate ways, or have some teamed up? Perhaps those who remain are in hiding, as you are, licking their wounds from the first round of casualties...

Standing up, you poke your head out into the massive chamber you left the amazon undead to wander in.

"I hope you have a better plan than this," your newest servant, Perilynth by name and a former competitor until your genie decapitated her, calls out. You look back at the undead head carried by her body and shrug. "How can you hope to win if you don't hunt the others? You're only giving them more time to prepare."

"More time for me to prepare as well," you say, returning to the small chamber and sitting back down. "Don't get impatient now just because you've already lost. Really, I don't know why they let you enter this contest in the first place, seeing as how the rules were 'everyone else but the winner must be dead' and you were already dead."

She sticks out her tongue at you as she is placed in her own lap.

You are Michael Anderson, a young man of 18 who not to long ago got a new sister. Not only is she kind and full of energy; She is also a Demon. With the powers she has you have beaten several enemies and made tons of new friends. However your other sister, Amy has been kidnapped!

Sorry for being a day late. Time slipped away, but to make up for it I will also be running on Tuesday.

The man with Blue hair flees from the sight with Amy in tow, being unable to pursue any further you puck up your phone and dial the number of your personal law enforcement buddy, Officer Bleu.

For several minutes you describe everything about the man. From his light blue hair, to his height, to the last place he was scene and the direction he fled. Not ten minutes pass before a squad car pulls up. A tall redheaded woman in a nice black outfit steps out from the car and hurries over to you. She flashes her shield to you.

"It's nice to finally meet you Michael. I only wish it had been under better circumstances. This was the last location your sister was seen correct?"

"Yeah" you say slightly disregarding the woman to listen to Bleu.

The woman simply smiles and moves to the alley behind you. Soon after at least a dozen squad cars have filled the area, detectives and officers looking over every last inch of ground as you finally end your talk with Bleu.

"I know this is hard, but please stay calm. We have officers all over town looking for this man." The same woman from earlier says, placing a hand on your shoulder. "You should go home and wait. In case the kidnapper calls. Would you like a ride?"

You are Lieutenant Commander Reynolr, of the Citadel Empire, recently-promoted captain of the CAS Brora (PS-4-917), an armed trawler based in the wretched Kraegsk Archipelago. Your presence here is tied to the nature of the storm-ravaged Kraegsk - north of resource-rich islands and a major naval warzone, the floating wrecks of great warships are carried by the currents to smash against the jagged coasts of the Kraegsk. You are to recover Citadel personnel from wrecks, protect salvage ships, and ensure that the enemy Republic and its craven mercenaries does not gain control of the Kraegsk from their own naval base, at the opposite end of the archipelago. Every month, a convoy of cargo ships picks up scrap that cannot be used or embezzled by the forces of the Kraegsk and takes it back to the naval yards of your homeland - loss of these ships is unacceptable.

Before the Citadel-Republic war, the Kraegsk was inhabited by a series of destitute fishing communities living in the shadow of the ruins of the old Astaeran Empire. Now they are forced into the service of the belligerents, powerless to resist the meager forces allocated to the Kraegsk.

Quite recently, we've managed to explore Rinyak Island, converse at length with a Republic Prisoner, and discover and warn Sbvysek of a Republic bombardment flotilla. We subsequently fought in the Battle of Sbvysek, sinking a gunboat and striking the finishing blows on the Light Patrol Cruiser RNS Inviolable Rights. Now, we must deal with victory.

Far off, nestled in an otherwise small Japanese town lies the Dark Gate Academy. An institution of tremendous size, the Academy holds a long kept secret. Unknown to the outside world, this unseemly town is home to a tear in our reality. A gate between our world and a bizarre dimension known as the Darkworld. The inhabitants of this hellish world breach this gate and attempt to flood into our reality and spread throughout the world on a regular basis. However, the Dark Gate Academy is home to students of truly extraordinary abilities. The ability to sense the presence of these evil Darkworld creatures, and defeat them in combat, sending them back through the gate.

They cannot close the rift between our world and the Darkworld, but the students and staff of Dark Gate Academy have dedicated their lives to using their amazing powers to hold back the darkness that plagues our world, even if it costs them their lives. They have risen up to the challenge and in secret have become great heroic defenders of the world as we know it.

For many years, Dark Gate Academy has held back the forces of the Darkworld, kept this unspeakable evil contained within their walls. But a dark cloud approaches, and times are about to change. A new chapter in the tale of Dark Gate Academy is about to begin.

The snow crackles and crunches beneath your feet as you make the trek up the hill to the academy, a handful of bags of shopping being carried along with you.

“So, First Mate Ryoji! What did you think?” Nanami smiles as she trails up behind you. You, Saki, Ken and Nariko were invited to sit-in for a rehearsal of her upcoming play with a few of the villagers. Lucky thing too, you'll be unable to make the actual performance since you and Saki will be taking the first train to your parent's home in order to spend New Year's with them. Saki's been buzzing with excitement all week because of it.

“Well...” you mutter. “You were definitely the best actor in the whole thing. The villagers...”

“I guess they're still a little shaky,” Nanami admits. “But fear not! It's still another... two days until the real performance!”

“I don't think that's soon enough,” you reply.

“Never doubt the power of a good crew!” Nanami replies. “They'll pull through in no time!”

“You really were excellent,” Saki smiles at Nanami.

Nariko nods. “Yeah, the other folk's suckiness only made you look even better, too!”

The five of you make your way past the school gates and up to the main building of the school. Just in time for the end of term assembly. Saki would have have been crushed if she could miss something so... thrilling? You'll never have any idea why Saki is so excited over something so boring... but you suppose it's all part of what makes Saki... well, Saki.

“Oh, I can't wait!” Saki shakes with anticipation. “Ryoji, I really hope Agent White or Principal Wei give out good attendance awards this time!”

“The most prestigious award of all,” you roll your eyes. “Is Wei going to give me a lump of coal for my attendance?”

“Well, your attendance towards the beginning of the term can be excused,” Saki points out. “You were trapped in the Darkworld, after all.”

Oh yeah, that was a fun summer.

You're a monster.

As the two of you wait outside the hall, Saki turns her head to you. “It was real nice of you to chip in on the party decorations, Ryoji. Did you pick up any extra gifts while you were at it?”

>Actually, yeah. I got something for everyone in Class.
>Well, I could only really afford gifts for my closest friends...
>Nah. I got you a gift, but I wasn't going to splash out any more than that.

Welcome back to BoaC
the Legend continues from here:

The Chieftain has declared, that our tribes are in too precarious a situation, to leave our safety up to fate.
Knowing what happened in years not so far past, Meno and Sunna are encouraged to take matters into their own hands.
We gather large supplies of wood and craft tools out of them, to further our endeavor.
Days, weeks and even months pass, as we eagerly and diligently gather supplies for - what we believe - soon to be coming attacks of our large Neighbors.
We must not fail, not here, not now, not ever again.
Though exhausting, we managed to cut down an unprecedented amount of Trees.
Our village is overflowing with wood and though our supplies are many, our people are not, as such we have to rest.
This is going to be the greatest effort of our People yet.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
If you're new and interested in playing, here's how it works:
Everyone decides what our People will do next.
All decisions are made by democratic majority vote.
If multiple decisions are made, only those that do not conflict each other will happen.
Rolling 100 overrides a majority decision.
Multiple cases of rolling 100 will happen in order they were rolled.
Everyone may only roll once per pending decision.
Major historical events, may still occur if the point of Origin remains outside our nation's control. (e.g If we don't own Macedonia by 200BC, Alexander the Great happens, no matter what)
Major Historical events may still occur, if our Nation hosts similar conditions as the Nations we currently occupy, as they would have at the appropriate time.
(e.g If we own Rome after 700BC and our King [you] does some more than questionable decisions, we will become a Republic)
Tripfagging is strongly encouraged!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Last thread a multi-update decision was made, so I'm going to post part 2 now.

Prepare some basic defenses first, nothing too fancy, so the workers can rest a little before finishing the hard work.

Maybe some simple watch posts and some spikes around the walls?

After sufficiently resting, we continue our efforts to protect ourselves from our vicious neighbors.
Workers excavate a trench around our village, heaping it all up on the our side of it, to form an earth-wall.
Ontop of the earth-wall we densely place 3 meter tall Palisades to function as a wall proper.
Additionally, 4 watch towers are placed on the edges of the wall to detect enemies from further away!
We use the remaining excess wood to put up another, loose wall, on the other side of the trench for additional protection.

“Wait!” you call out for them to hold, raising a free hand up for your allies to desist. Eve utters a phrase that causes the decanter of endless holy water to end its everlasting torrent. The vampire's corporeal form shrivels as it burns to ash under the effects of both the alchemist's fire and the divine waters.

The steam that rises, however, as the vampire seemingly perishes, quickly takes on a reddish tint. Soon, after a few prolonged seconds of observing it, the vapor bleeds into a dark, bloody-red hue, swirling in opposition to wind currents of the cool, night time, sea breeze. The mist begins taking shape, as if it was being sculpted by some unseen artist.

. . .

The skeletal apparition that appears before you cackles menacingly, before it commences floating up into the sky, retreating vertically from the alleyway you had the monster trapped in.

“Shit,” Quissonce utters. “That's a spell. I don't think it's dead.”

“What?!” Rowe shouts down from the rooftop, recoiling as the figure floats up past her.

“Gaseous form,” Ed yells up to her, cupping his mouth with his hands to amplify his already piercing voice. “Transmutation spell, makes him practically untouchable! I think it's natural though. Didn't see or sense him cast it.”

“Well, what the fuck are we supposed to do then?” Eve asks. “He's floating away!”

“We follow him to see where he goes!” you order, your inner cavalry commander rising to the forefront of your personality, magically bolstered by your resplendent general's coat. “We need to keep eyes on him and that requires taking to the air. Fly spells up!”

Ed, Quissonce and Eve quickly snap to carrying out your command. They each hit you, Rowe and Kyra with a dose of magic. As you feel the familiar sensation of your feet becoming lighter than air, you immediately ascend upwards, flicking on your Arcane Sight to peer out across the city as you crest above the skyline. You can sense Kyra floating up behind you as Rowe moves to your side. You instantly catch sight of that same roiling grey aura streaming in the vampire's wake.

You shoot off after it, both women following on your heels as your casters fall behind slightly, taking a moment to cast a second batch of Fly spells upon themselves.

Chasing the gaseous creature over the rooftops of Seaside, you trace the creature's path, even as it weaves between chimney stacks and dips low below buildings and beneath trees every so often. Every once in a while in your pursuit, you catch a glimpse of the distant, blood-red mist form your quarry has taken, but for the most part it's lead on you has grown large enough due to the ridiculous speed =it possesses in this state, that it reaches its destination a good fifteen seconds before you do.

But you arrive at where the vampire fled all the same, unerring in your knowledge thanks to the lingering wisps of mystical energy that function like the most egregiously obvious of trails through the urban jungle.

The chase has led you to the waterfront district, by the beach. The grey aura slips between the crack in a boarded up window of a long abandoned warehouse, fallen in to disuse and made obsolete from the rapidly changing demographics and architectural needs of the burgeoning colony. You do a quick fly around to make sure the vampire has not exited through the back in an attempt to trick you. Sure enough, all around the building is clear save for the point of entry. Your vampire is inside this building.

(Perhaps this is its lair) Rowe thinks to you.

(You might be right.) You think back.

Eve, Ed and Quissonce arrive moments later, floating towards you until the six of you have formed a small huddle.

You and the other players wake up in a prison cell. There is a cold draft emitting a low ambiance, and a square-shaped hole in the wall which is barred up. A door is across the corridor from yours -- but it is one of oak, reinforced with metal. There is a small window in it. You can not see the end of the corridor, and you can not see any guards. There is large pieces of burlap on the ground, along with some hay.

Before making any actions, describe your character. Describe name of character, species, weapon of choice, remarkable attributes, a magical power, and a companion if you wish. Feel free to choose a question over an action.
