When do you think people will get tired of using "cuck" as a generic insult?

I understand that people would rather just spout memes and buzzwords instead of actually using logic in their arguments, but I have to say that I'm getting pretty tired of this particular word being the go-to insult.

Seriously, the majority of the times it's used it doesn't even make sense. Have a certain political appealing? Get called a cuck. Like a certain video game company? Get called a cuck. Why do you have to make everything so unnecessarily sexual?

Being cuckolded means to be cheated on by one's partner. It isn't even an insult in the traditional sense, because being cheated on doesn't reflect poorly your own character, it reflects poorly on the character of your partner.

Is 4chan really that sexually repressed and insecure that the idea of being a cuckold has turned into the worst possible thing you can be called?
