I agree so I would like to request a feature. In fact, I want this feature on the boards that already have sound enabled.

Thumbnails for webms with sound should have the Sound Icon watermarked onto the thumbnail. Watermarking is easy and cheap, especially considering 4chan already thumbnails images. It's probably using something like ImageMagick to just automatically resize every image, and thumbnailing is cheap computationally.
