I warned for calling a filmmaker 'reddit' and the post got deleted. Why is it against the rules to use reddit as an epithet? How is it worse than calling something shit or someone a faggot?
Good, get the message and stop calling everything leddit. It's spreading like a fucking virus, not a friendly/funny meme.
The more you talk about leddit, the more you are likely to attract the attention of literal actual ledditors who will think they are in good company here. If you have actual proof someone is from there tell them to fuck off. That simple.
>Those insults actually mean something.
No they don't. They mean "something I don't like". Reddit on the other hand means evoking or resembling an opinion held by or a thing favored by the general population of Reddit. You're flat out wrong here.
You don't know what a faggot is? Wow.
Also, how would I know what "an opinion held by or a thing favored by the general population of Reddit" is if I never browse reddit?
You are using an insult that only makes sense to someone who visits reddit.
You know you can visit reddit, be disgusted by the shitfest it is, come back here a tell faggots who want to bring that culture here to fuck off.
It's like calling people in real life faggots or memeing it up at work. Not appropriate and should be called out.
It's not hard to see low effort shit and cry babies who can't handle controversial opinions.
>also Implying reddit is shit and ever visiting reddit will forever stain you in order to argue against calling out redditors
Are you stupid?
It was precisely a few hours after that epin ban ("user was banned for being a closeted redditor") that they started mass-deleting and banning anything mentioning the site.
Seems like wasted effort considering cunny threads, porn threads, bait threads, shitposts, etc stay up for hours.
Look at the board right now
Nothing but garbage threads yet go the archive to see what's deleted and it's only posts that say reddit https://archive.4plebs.org/tv/search/deleted/deleted/
Fucking pathetic trying to appease star wars plebs that still want a sfw /b/
So what I'm getting out of all this, is that it's perfectly acceptable to call someone "reddit" because you believe the content of their post is indicative of someone who browses reddit- AND, you have set up a xanatos gambit in which anybody who tries to defend themselves is definitive proof that they are a redditor; anybody who calls you out on the meaninglessness of your insult is apparently mad that they got called out for being a redditor. And of course, the mods who try to remove utterly worthless posts that contribute nothing but "u r reddit" are all redditors too, they only deleted those posts because it hurts their feelings, not because it's blatant spam or anything.
Basically, it's this kind of widespread paranoia where "everybody must be a redditor except me, that's why this site has gone to shit, it couldn't possibly be because EVERYBODY ELSE THINKS THEY'RE THE ONLY PERSON WHO ISN'T A REDDITOR TOO"
