On nightly, if you post without an image using quick reply, it complains about the file size.
>>418502
Sounds like a problem with Nightly.
I have the same problem, not just you OP, submitting a feedback bug report right now until it gets resolved.
>>418544
>until it gets resolved.
See you in three months when your pre-alpha-dev-meme-version hits stable.
>>418507
Websites are supposed to support browsers, not the other way around. It's a problem with 4chan and needs to be resolved.
Also, you probably can just use Shift + Post to bypass QR errors.
>>418552
It's fucking Nightly.
>>418552
That isn't even remotely true, though.
Besides, that particular version of nightly will be gone tomorrow night.
OP here
For people with this problem here's a greasemonkey script to fix it until Mozilla sorts it out.
It basically removes the file field is there is no file upon submission.
// ==UserScript==
// @name 4chanfix
// @namespace >>418502
// @description Fix for quick replying on 4chan using nightly
// @include https://boards.4chan.org/*
// @version 1
// @grant none
// ==/UserScript==
document.addEventListener("DOMContentLoaded", function(e) {
QR.oldSubmit = QR.submit;
QR.submit = function(e) {
var file = document.getElementById("qrFile");
if(file.files.length == 0) file.parentElement.removeChild(file);
return QR.oldSubmit(e);
};
});
might repost it in /g/ as that is where most the nightly users are

>using a nightly build, the literal definition of unstable
>NUH UH IT'S NOT MY BROWSER'S FAULT FUCKING 4CHAN FIX YOUR SHIT
what a fucking autist
Probably this change:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1237595
>uses pre-alpha software
>complains when something breaks
>probably didn't even file a bug report
fucking faggot
>>418502
maximum file size is 4MB

>>419181

>>419201
Did you even read the OP?
>>418552
The real problem here is the retard sitting in front of your computer.
>>419583
he's not wrong you retard.
>>419201
What a massive waste of 4MB. That picture doesn't even look good.
>>420043
Yeah but it's not relevant.
>>419181
Patch incoming here:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1241171
>>420747
Source of that image?
>>420747
oh man why did someone have to link to 4chan in the bug report?
it's as bad as anime or mlp is firefox image rendering bug reports.
>>420798
Autism. The person in charge of the patch already said he'll merge it on Monday, but nope, the autistic ricers absolutely had to interject.
>>420756
Take it to /wsr/.
>>420798
If they don't know it breaks actual sites, the fix could get put off to the next version.
