Look at all the deleted shitposts here. Most of them were clearly from the same person who got his entire post history wiped when banned. One of the last was "someone make a /qa/ thread!", then this thread popped up relatively shortly after, around the same time some undeleted shitposts along the same lines as the deleted ones appeared in the current thread.
It should be pretty clear this is all the same guy and he made the the thread here right after ban evading his ban for shitting up the anime general for 2+ hours straight.
>>417314 >because shaming samefags so bad that they never come back would be against the mods policy Mods have shamed samefaggers tons of times. The easiest example of I can think of jewcob getting outed by a mod for heavy samefagging.
/vp/ has far greater problems than a general making threads too fast
>persistent shitposters spending all day derailing threads >scatposters >furfags/furry porn >pornspammers >gorespammers >frogposting raids >thread flooding (someone making duplicate threads to fill the catalog)
>>417381 Yes, anon. That is better. Because without the general, there wouldn't be a constant Gardevoir thread. If you want a system that is neat and contained, go use a fucking traditional forum. Generals don't belong here and they change the OP from being a conversation starter to a topic setter. If the general wasn't there, there wouldn't be constant Gardevoir threads and when there is, they wouldn't be just about Gardevoir and would trail off in other topics like they are supposed to.
On 4chan, 10 threads for the same topic is better than 10 generals. Because all 10 of those threads will be different and interesting, while those generals will be boring and the same garbage.
>>417387 Most generals on /vp/ are either for ongoing fan projects or ongoing media that receives constant news and updates (the anime and Shuffle). The Gardevoir general is an outlier, but the others are for the most part fine.
>>417332 Fucking this. This one guy keeps linking to /qa/ threads about the anime general, then all this other shitty spam gets posted there as well. Then rather curiously, all the spam and the links to the /qa/ thread get purged at the exact same time. I've noticed this trend just as you have. Basically the /qa/ threads accusing the anime thread of spamming the catalog are all bullshit and made by a guy who is shitting up the anime threads himself with all kinds of crap like linkspam and vore/scat/trolls/flames/porn and linking to his /qa/ threads, then getting banned. Then rapidly switching his IP and posting more crap, making a troll anime thread with incorrect info in it + a /qa/ thread blaming the anime general for "thread spamming."
If anything the problem here is shitposters like the OP of this /qa/ thread shitting up /vp/, not a general that is badly affected by said shitposting on a board with very weak moderation.
>>417402 >simply because you don't like them More like they shit the site up and do nothing but bring in stupid newfag and encourage stupidity. I don't like them for a reason. Even moot admitted allowing generals was a mistake. So yes. /vg/ being purged would be good. It's just as same as /v/, just a different taste.
The irony here is that the OP >>417285 is the one doing thread spamming by making separate /qa/ threads to try and wage a crusade against a Pokemon anime general thread. As well as by shitposting the anime threads to death, all simply because he doesn't like generals and doesn't want the people who do enjoy them to even have them.
>>417406 Well guess what? Don't go there then. Just as the OP of this /qa/ thread shouldn't make three separate threads on /qa/ bitching about one heavily shitposted anime general (a general that he himself shitposts to death nearly every day) on false pretenses.
>>417413 Then don't go to the generals, pure and simple. Besides, before the anime thread was a general, guess what? /vp/ had people making random anime threads all over the place. The mods there decided a general would solve the problem.
Three threads existing in the catalog beyond the bump limit on the day of an episode airing, when the general makes a new thread before the image to ensure that a new one isn't needed during the episode itself, is not "thread spamming" in the slightest.
the mods practically the forced the general, because episode 'hype threads' started to clog up the catalog as there was no consensus on when they would be made, so you'd get people posting 5-6 different hype threads and it became a complete mess
>>417423 >Then don't go to the generals, pure and simple >if i push cancer under the carpet and ignore it maybe it will go away There is no ignoring a problem when it takes the majority of the space on the site, shits it up and shapes the fucking thing. I could list tons of reason why they are bad, but that will all be ignored. They are a problem and shouldn't be fucking ignored. They need to be a removed. And if the mods forced the generel, it really does show how little they care about /vp/ since they showed in the past they hate the things as well.
>>417434 >10 threads in a 100+ thread catalog >majority of the space The fact you think they're "bad" doesn't mean they're going anywhere. Lots of things on 4chan are bad but they have been that way for years. Stop pissing and moaning and if you're the OP of this thread do something else with your life besides waging a one-man war against a mod-approved general on a Pokemon imageboard.
Please understand. Here's the gist of what's happening.
>shitposter makes shitpost >shitposter samefags obnoxious complaints about his original shitpost >makes it look like the actual people in the thread are sperging out
That's basically what's happening here. The shitposters' new MO is spamming fake sperg replies to his own shitposts. And now it's to the point of fake-bitching here on /qa/ about the situation he created back on /vp/.
tl;dr y'all niggas posting in a troll thread, the goal is to discredit the very real problem on /vp/ by making it look like one or two turboautists having a petty issue. It's false flagging.
>>419572 You mean you're at it again by shilling an early thread with all kinds of errors in it, then shitposting that thread with gore from another device, then calling everyone in the anime thread a bunch of "weeaboo underage autistic delusional cancer faggots" and linking to your /qa/ thread here?
>>419574 >>419575 Back to the false accusations? Yes because I suppose anyone who makes the thread you idiots don't like must be dumping his own thread with gore. Makes perfect sense! Totally not paranoia at all! But wait, this happened last thread, and I didn't get banned with the mass deletes, I wonder why?
That is really stupid and impossible to enforce. Also, with IP hijacking, a hacker could hijack your IP range, make it look like you, and YOU could go to jail without having done anything. If the hacker is good enough, he would never be traced.
>>419572 >>419593 Well, the thread that you are complaining got goredumped was deleted by the jannies, at the exact same time a bunch of other shitposts that linked here to /qa/, called anons in the anime weeaboo underage cancer and involved familiar shit like laughing face memes and "don't reply to the below poster, he's a spider" posts got deleted.
This is like the third or fourth time in the past week or two that this group of posts has all been deleted at the same time. It proves that you are full of shit and this entire thread was made with the purpose of falseflagging so you could continue to wage your crusade against generals on /vp/
