Man, it's an image board. Webm uploads were made to look like standard images on purpose. And it could actually be even better integrated by removing the seeker/player bar completely.

Webm with sound only makes sense on /tv/.

Well guess what, we already have webms. The idea that we cannot have webms, with sound, on boards like /a/ is ridiculous. The only difference between the current situation and having sound webms is that inferior mute webms will no longer proliferate.
