Is there a ranking for which boards are heavily moderated and which aren't?

For instance I know /a/ is heavily moderated, but from what I heard /m/ isn't despite being an off-shoot of /a/.

There are unwritten rules for each board that one can only learn through lurking more.

The boards which are heavily moderated are one of these.
>>
>>413822
I was curious because I saw a lot of threads here lately asking about more moderation, probably due to crossboarders.
>>
green gobbowlin?
>>
it depends on what you mean by "heavily moderated". a lot of boards have certain things that will be quickly deleted, but other kinds of rule violations will not be deleted at all. i don't think there are any boards where all the rules are strictly enforced in a timely manner.
>>
>>414015
Well, let's say active shitposting and how swiftly they are deleted.

I remember threads in /m/ having guro and scat that lasted for hours and some even reached a day.
>>
>>413821
/int/ has zero moderation, go post anything you wish, it wont be deleted until euros wake
>>
>>413821

Post a picture of male in /u/. Go back with result.
>>
>>413821
/m/ deletes any thread that says negative things about Valvrave, but allows threads about magical girls.

IE Hivemind Hugbox.

The more common term for it is "culture."

Board culture = shitposting that is okay

You've never had any friends have you

Weird, I remember people shitposting on Valvrave before.

Or maybe it was Season 2.

/vp/ moderation is utter shit, as in it pretty much doesn't exist. Porn threads and frog threads stay up for hours, generals there get daily raids by career shitposters, and the report function is more or less useless.

Yeah /vp/ is a containment board, but it's turning into a full-blown shitpost board. If you're going to make a damn board and keep a damn board for this many years, you need to actually moderate the damn board. There are all sorts of /vp/ users who have said on /qa/ that they want to be jannies and they applied to be one because they love their board, only to have their applications ignored.
>>
>>414814
They also delete any vs threads on sight.
>>
/vp/ is one of the worst

- frogposting
- shitposters who spend 8+ hours a day shitposting in threads
- porn dumps
- feces/gore dumps
- furry dumps
- thread spamming to flood the catalogue
- thread dumping to kill threads

All of which takes hours to be cleaned up. The only time the mods actually react fast is if something illegal gets posted like doxx info or cheese pizza
>>
>>414532
Except for that guy that posted about how he was banned for insulting Iraq. I don't usually care for the people that come here and complain about their bans, but that shit was funny.
>>
>>414848
No, start a thread that says something negative about that show and it gets deleted on the spot.
>>
/tv/ is so heavily moderated that posting a relevant picture of an actress while talking about her role in a movie results in a 3 day ban.

why this is has never been explained or justified.

meanwhile youtube "reviewer" threads that are nothing but gossip about their personal lives are protected by moderation.
>>
>>415236
Its simple: The mods fucking hate /tv/ with a passion. In fact moot hated it as well and always did. The mods have been trying to nuke /tv/ for a while now, and I guess they really, really want to get Hiro to nuke it.
