Why have /lgbt/ anymore? It was clearly from a time when Moot was simply shucking and jiving for some more good goy points and shekels from the Tumblr crowd and normies. It's clear they are not wanted by anyone but the normies on /b/, and the lonely faggots on /r9k/. Besides, they're really detached from the rest of the board, much like /b/. Lots of people that go there either only go to /lgbt/ or /b/. The only thing they're good for is posting b8 threads on /pol/ and acting like faggots. I'm sure nobody would notice if it vanished tomorrow.

Everybody actually hates it, even "tumblrs". It's just "MY ORIENTATION IS BETTER THAN YOURS!!!11!!1!": the board

Keep it but make it more of a containment board.
When that board was created all the other boards had a maximum of 3 letters in the board name. The obvious thing to call this board would have been /gay/, but no. These special snowflakes just had to have 4 letters, /lgbt/.
Still pisses me off.

This is a bullshit argument. Boards like /lgbt/ attract people like that to the website. Containment boards keep certain people in one place, not attract them.

Those people were already in the site, they just don't usually wear their sexual orientation in their sleeves, except on the wearing-your-orientation-in-your-sleeve board.
Now that there's a established community in /lgbt/, removing it will just make them take over another board.
And I doubt many people come to 4chan for the fucking LGBT board. It's mostly people coming here for the bigger boards, then stumbling upon more niche ones and settling.

It's nice to contain trannies, which should be enforced more
As long as they don't bother anyone (read: anyone but /pol/) I don't care honestly.

>muh /pol/ boogy man
There are far right wingers on every board. When someone posts something far right, it's just them being themselves. Everyone posts their own opinion, and just because you don't like it when someone tags the word "niggers" on there, doesn't mean it's "another /pol/ raid." Get over yourself, you're a minority on 4chan. Have, and always will be.

It's a meme you dip. /lgbt/ having a thing for /pol/ and bothering them has been a thing for years.
