Wasuri the Newfag Spoonfeeder edition
Oh yes, Strawpoll, the site someone can rig the votes on at any time. That's enough to conclude you're an idiot.
Wasuri isn't even a real name. It's literally ONE fuckwad perpetuating it.
le autism joke
Please, if you are a Facebook user, is ok, but no, you are a 4chan user, a site dedicated for autistic faggots. You are here because your autism. Using autism jokes here is kinda redundant. It's not bad, some jokes are funny. Just use them at the correct time.
Can anyone summarize /trash/-tan's personality?
I can't believe that board-tan got porn of it from day 1.
>Keksandra goes to bed sleeping with Yuu.
>For the first time in a week, she sleeps with a full stomach.
>The next day, she wakes up, but she can only open one eye.
>She realizes that her black eye, which is radiating a small amount of pain, is completely swollen shut.
>"Y-, I mean, mom, I can't see," she whimpers, shaking Yuu.
>Yuu yawns and turns her head.
>"Oh my goodness, your eye!" she gasps. "I'll take you to the doctor, okay?"
>Yuu helps Keksandra, who still can't walk on her own, change her clothes into something clean.
>Once Yuu is dressed and both have had breakfast, they go down to the bus stop. The morning is very cold and there's a frosty wind. Too cold for Keksandra.
>"I'm cold, mom," Keksandra whines.
>Yuu looks around for a source of heat, but can't find any. She lifts up her long skirt and drapes it over Keksandra.
>"That will keep the wind away," Yuu smiles, gently rubbing her head through the skirt.
>Keksandra hugs Yuu's leg, taking advantage of the natural warmth from it.
>The bus comes soon after, and the two get on the bus.
>"She was on the street?" the doctor asked.
>"Well, it's a good thing you rescued her. She would have starved to death by now had you not found her," the doctor explains to Yuu.
>Keksandra could hear the doctor's words.
>"Dead?" she thinks, feeling her ribcage. She can make out the individual ribs through her dress.
>The doctor gets up and gently places his fingers around Keksandra's swollen eye.
>"Does it hurt if I touch it?" he asks, pressing underneath her eyebrow.
>Keksandra flinches. "A little," she says.
>The doctor did a few more tests to analyze her eye.
>"How exactly did this happen?" he asks her.
>Keksandra sniffles. "I was trying to ask a man for money a few days ago, and he walked away, and I crawled after him and I asked again, and he still wouldn't give me money," she explains, "and then I, I tugged on his shirt, and he punched me in the face. It really hurt."
>She answered a few more questions. "He hit me here," she says, pointing to her cheekbone. "He hit me hard, but it only hurt for a few minutes."
>The doctor nods and turns to Yuu. "There's no need to worry for now, it appears to be just a serious black eye which may take a month to heal completely," he explains to her. "Just apply an ice pack to her eye a few times a day for two days. I'll write you a prescription for some Tylenol."
>While writing the prescription, the doctor advises Yuu to feed her plenty of lean meat, nuts and potatoes to help her strengthen up.
>Keksandra makes progress slowly.
>She still can't walk on her own, but Yuu helps her around and helps exercise her legs.
>The ice pack treatment works well, and after two days, Keksandra can open her eye slightly.
>On a diet of meat and potatoes, she gains a few pounds after a week.
>After a month, Keksandra looks better.
>She's taking steps on her own with the help of an old cane Yuu found in her closet, she looks less thin, and her black eye is fading.
>"Why are we here, mom?" Keksandra asks.
>Yuu smiles. "When I took you in, I called child services about you and asked to be involved," she explains.
>"What does that mean?"
>Yuu leans over and strokes Keksandra's hair. "It took a lot of work, but the state finally gave me full permission to adopt you as my daughter," Yuu continues.
>Keksandra gasps. "So that means...?"
>"Yes. Legally, I'll be your foster mother once I sign the papers."
>Sniffling, Keksandra hugs Yuu. "Mommy..." she whispers.
>Yuu stands up, Keksandra following. After the man at the counter explains the legal jargon, Yuu signs the document and gets Keksandra to add her signature.
>"Congratulations, and good luck," the man at the counter says.
>Keksandra hugs Yuu again and begins to cry.
>"I love you, mommy."
Was doing some casual shitposting on /tv/ and the retard I'm trolling by feeding the reddit stereotype responded with this anime girl. This may be where s4s-tan's design was stolen from.
Not sure what it is, probably Saki or something, but it definitely predates that board.
These ideas (the pics at link) were posted in one or two threads on /his/ in the first week or two. There were only (what seemed like a few) anons who were coming up with ideas and liking one or the other. I remember a couple of anons wanting some girl tan that was dressed in a Napoleonic (iirc) soldier uniform, but I couldn't find those pictures. The majority (or so it seemed) liked the old philosopher guy idea. Then someone said "put her with a little girl" because -cute anime girl-. I know they were coming up with reasons for why we'd have two tans.
Then all of a sudden it seemed like one guy just decided >pic related would be our guy.
there is no official tan yet. I don't believe there was ever a poll of any sort - if that even counts. I bet if there was a tan thread now it would be completely different - although I could see a lot of /his/torians just not giving a shit. As a daily lurker there, I think our tan should be a Romanbro or Greekgoddess. Or someone cosplaying as that, I guess.
any advice for /his/ on how to decide officially? do we make a draw thread somewhere and get more ideas to pick from?
Draw threads are a good idea, most shitposters never go there and there is enough space to breath, this was how /pol/ went through the ball this year without it causing another shitstorm, otherwise you can rely either on board tan threads on your own board or try your luck by making an /qa/ thread and linking it to /his/
It was way too early to be deciding. Now there are real /his/ people on the board not just those that went for the first day.
Mods stopped all tan discussion though so I dont know if it could be started back up
Thank you for the advice. I appreciate the feedback.
Awesome! I'm glad all the original ideas are around somewhere. Will you be uploading them anywhere for /his/? I mean, if you were to do a draw thread when it's time to get ready for the ball?
Do you remember if any names for the possible his-tans were talked about in that thread?
>Will you be uploading them anywhere for /his/?
>I mean, if you were to do a draw thread when it's time to get ready for the ball?
I'm actually not a drawfriend. I don't like organizing threads either, too messy.
>Do you remember if any names for the possible his-tans were talked about in that thread?
The statue was called Herodotus, and the loli was called Historia. /her/odotus being the statue while /his/toria being the loli sidekick. I thought it was funny, to be honest.
>How about you, my fellow /his/torian?
I couldn't care less, to be honest. but I'd like to bet on the statuexloli pairing combo just because I had some investment in that at the very beginning.
>one out of literally tens of thousands of anime characters is a girl with brown hair and pigtails
>"OMGZ [S4S] LIDERALY JUST COPIDE HER"
One, you're stupid. Two, you're replying to yourself because nobody is sane enough to think you have a point. Three, fuck off.
You're a fucking idiot. This needs to stop, now.
This to be honest, i mean, at least some of them stand out by adding some kind of gimmick, like /d/ being a demon, /x/ with her eye thing, /r9k/ is a robot, /co/ is a super hero, the little girl boards just look really boring
Over at /news/, me and some other guys seem to like the idea of our -tan being a whole /news/ team, which would be funny since we're so small. It's probably just me and another guy so far, but it might pick up, so don't brainstorm any /news/ -tans until we've decided.
Also, as a regular on /his/, I like the statue guy, but am indifferent to the ghostgirl sidekick.
the [s4s] horse thing
I accidentally let the /trish/ thread die so now I'm here.
The only pending non-degenerate request was Trish outmemeing Keksandra by being Pure Autistic unlike [s4s]'s Multi-Irony-Level Autism.
Someone also said they were making a Touhou-esque Trish, I think like Nazrin but a possum. So, there might be a less bannable image we can post.
>there might be a less bannable image we can post.
How about people start making non-fat fetish art of her and start making SFW art. There is nothing actually bannable about her design and I yet to see anyone get banned over a pic of her SFW art. She is supposed to be fat but BBWfags take it way too far.
Also stop trying to turn her into another anime girl. You got enough of them already.
As far as I know, every board but those two deletes furry content as soon as it is noticed by moderation staff regardless of it being non-suggestive.
It being porn has nothing to do with it, the rule bans all furry.
>As far as I know
Then you don't know much about these boards
>the rule bans all furry.
Mods interpret the rules as they see fit. Few rules on this site are followed to the letter especially since many are vague enough to mean anything like the definition of "furry"in general.
I've never seen non-pornographic "furry" images get deleted. Like Undertale and Star Fox and stuff. It's only the porn they care about, for obvious reasons.
>Wh...how do you turn a rat into an anime girl?
>Since when has anyone been doing that?
>Someone also said they were making a Touhou-esque Trish
Plus some people on /qa/ wanted to make /trash/-tan an anime girl with a trash can on her head.
does /biz/ have two tans or just the guy on the right?
I don't really know. /biz/ doesn't have a page, and I don't visit it. I just wanted there to at least be the names of the new boards in red text, indicating that they need pages. I'm not asking for you to actually make pages, just to put the names there so that other people know that they need pages.
That female was literally a Bayonetta palette swap. She wasn't an original, or even popular design, as she was called on that fact.
Definitely, the most popular -tan for /biz/ is the male guy in a suit... that's for the 2 or 3 working /biz/ who care about board -tans. The incredible large majority doesn't give a shit about it.
Do it yourself
Probably because they are just concept drawings and ideas, not tans per se.
Can you imagine how flooded the shimmie would be if all of the pictures from the /aco/ threads were uploaded?
It wasn't so much the not being tans as them being just mass idea drawings to try and decide on a tan. They're sort of like tan development doodles.
Not saying they couldn't be posted on the shimmie, just that it's probably why no one has bothered to upload those or /aco/'s. Also you run the risk of later deciding on a tan and then having dozens of pictures tagged as your board that are actually unrelated.
e.g. /his/ goes with the statue as most of /his/ seems to want, the loli and ghost pictures just become random pictures on the shimmie that no longer have anything to do with /his/-tan.
I think they should still post art with the other versions of the same tan, and just let other artists decide what they want, i mean, shit, /pol/ has like what? 5 designs? The red and black guy is the most popular yet many artists are always drawing him differently, i see no reason why /aco/ can't be the same with people drawing the Cowgirl, the native and the wizard depending of what they want, and whoever is the most relevant gets the spot on the big image, simple as that
I get what you mean but on large boards that means a few people deciding for hundreds, regardless of objections. On small boards it's even worse, if you only have a single or maybe two drawfags, that's essentially saying they get to personally choose your board's representation.
And then you also have the issue /his/ had at its creation, where drawfags from other boards were coming in and drawing stuff in the first few tan threads it had. And it'd be pretty unreasonable for someone from a different board to decide your board's tan.
I think drawfags should provide ideas and concept pieces, and the part of the board interested in tans and the like should collectively decide.
Nothing wrong with temporary placeholders, a lot of tans changed over the years because their boards became more interested in the whole board tan thing, hell, there are still place holders on the big list, unofficial designs that haven't been blessed by the community, some of them aren't even made by drawfags from the board
>The red and black guy is the most popular yet many artists are always drawing him differently
I'm not against different designs for the /pol/ board. The red and black /pol/ tan was based off the news tan when the news users were being redirected to /pol/. /pol/ as Politically Incorrect never had a proper tan because their main placeholder was the news tan. I do find the green suit one to be amusing and befitting of current /pol/, but I will always know that the black suit tan will remain the old news tan (not sure of the current news board. I'm leaving it up to the users since I drew /new/ after it was axed).
The looks of board tans don't really matter. If green suit wants to be /new/ it's always up to the artist's interpretations, but it's a fact that the black hair/red eyes design happened before green suit was created. If you want more information, it can be found on 4chanhouse's /char/ page for /new/ with the thread dating back to 2011. You can also view the shimmie with the uploads dating back to 2011 from the first /new/ comic (it was about /r9k/ and /new/'s deletion). Green suit didn't pop up until /pol/ was created in 2012/2013.
I decided not to upload any of the /aco/-tan pics I saved from those threads to the shimmie unless another board-tan was also in the pic because I didn't want the waifu butthurt to get smeared all over the shimmie too.
Try posting the /news/ profile at 4chanhouse on the /char/ page. An artist usually lurks there. It's also the site that hosts the majority of board tan art (ex shimmie).
Also you might wanna scale back on the number of tans. The majority of them are useless.
If all else fails to produce results, you can always post descriptions on the site. Given it might take some time, but advertising on other sites and threads relating to board tans might help.
Personally I like the /co/ wiki's board-tan entries better.
It's still out of date (/gd/ needs to be updated to include keming cat, and the newer boards haven't been added yet aside from /wsr/ since someone from here did that), but it's more uniform than the /tg/ wiki entries.
>but it's more uniform than the /tg/ wiki entries.
There's that. Anyone can go in and edit /tg/ entries. People have been going in editing /pol/'s entries so I went for 4chanhouse or another place.
Most boards are just board-tan. For some boards a name works better. "es four es tan" is strange to mentally pronounce, which is probably why Keksandra is used far more often. I think /co/ generally also uses "/co/nrad" instead of "/co/-tan".
Other boards just have -tan names for the sake of having them.
It's not very important. Not that -tans are important in general.
/co/-tan should be used more often
After all, he wears a /co/-tan tie!
The /tg/ entries are so rarely updated.
I don't think a new page for a new board has been added there in years.
Right now I think /trash/ has a stable enough board-tan to have an entry somewhere.
/aco/, /his/, and /news/ (which is a text board, so it'd be the first text board to have a board-tan if that happens) still don't really have one yet that's even somewhat agreed upon yet.
> "es four es tan" is strange to mentally pronounce
I just pronounce it 'sas' as in sassy. lolol. The name Conrad is used mostly for /co/ projects when the users are drawing characters for /co/ to interact with. Either than that, every board tan has a human name. I use it when I'm drawing the tans as characters disassociated with the board tan universe (ex the haunted house comic). Kinda like the human names of Hetalia characters.
I updated the /tg/ entries about a year ago or a few months ago. I didn't change alot of the other entries set for the other board tans because it could've been an ongoing idea from the content creators, so I just worked on /pol/ and /int/'s. I'm assuming the new additions to /pol/'s entry was from someone who wanted to change the board tan, so I just let it be since I haven't visited /pol/ in a while (I only kept up with the news board).
I was under the impression that board tans are something creators have to keep up with. Since I made /new/ I drew alot for 4chanhouse and board tan threads. I've since wanted to expand to site tans and the internet-verse.
ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
I added the whole board-tan section and most of the pages about them to the /co/ wiki. That was about 8 or 9 months ago now.
The outdated /tg/ wiki articles had bothered me for a long time and I had noticed general stigma over them even being on 1d4chan for years, so I added them to the /co/ wiki with information that was more current (where available) than what was on the /tg/ pages.
Every so often I get lucky and find a board-tan thread on any of the boards that actually care about them and ask them if the information on the page for their board-tan is accurate.
/m/ wanted more of their OCs on their board-tan's page, but they couldn't agree on what information was relevant before the thread died.
/u/ more-or-less felt the information was accurate and only updated the relationships section with more current standings.
/d/ felt the information was up-to-date and didn't have anything to add.
Someone from /qa/ updated [s4s]-tan's page and also added a page for /wsr/.
Information and board-tans always changes rapidly (when it actually does change), but also has a tendency to snap back to what it was before if not enough people take notice.
That's strange. I thought /tg/ users were pretty active with the 1d4chan board tan pages. That could have been back when they were paired up with /x/ tho. What's the status on the /tg/ and /x/ relationship now?
>/news/ (which is a text board, so it'd be the first text board to have a board-tan if that happens) still don't really have one yet that's even somewhat agreed upon yet.
We have a userbase of about 70~
The /news/ thread had about 20~ people in it.
Everyone who would care about that stuff has already agreed. We just need someone to draw it.
This to be honest. I mean, it's kind of fitting that the board would instantly make 2 dozen images all with different fetishes, but there needs to be images of her being autistic rather than only degenerate. /trash/ is a little more than just porn, it's a refugee board for all the "garbage" discarded from the site, like Hunger Games, Steven Universe, Homestuck, Undertale, e-celebs, and so on.
I'm thinking about making a thread over there around that asking what her tastes would be, hopefully have the board build her character a little more. There used to be a lot of discussion like that, and it just disappeared. We never did settle what accent she had. I think it was a tie between a southern drawl, a Philly accent, or twittebonics.
There's only one other problem about /trish/ SFW art, it was agreed upon in the first threads that by design she would be isolated from the other boards, just like /trash/ is unlisted. Still, there could be a few relations, at least hateful ones. Maybe /d/ had tried to spray poison in her face after catching her stealing her horse dildos. On the other hand, maybe boards could find old memories or guilty pleasures in the garbage, like /mu/ finding リサフランク420 maybe.
>I'm thinking about making a thread over there around that asking what her tastes would be
its not hard to come up with something, board-tan personalities are defined by board culture, which is defined by whatever the majority agrees on, if a board is okay with something, the tan is going to be okay with the same thing, if the board has the tradition of shitting on something, the tan will do the same, if the board is like /co/ where you have multiple little groups, each enjoying and shitting on each other, the board will enjoy all those things but will still be capable of criticizing them depending of the context, if the board has any feature or "ability" like writefaging or something, the tan will also have that same ability, etc etc
They hardly ever update the 1d4chan board-tan pages these days. Most of the boards made over a year ago now still don't have pages there.
/tg/ and /x/ is a difficult subject.
Some say they're still together, others say /x/ is dead and it's /b/ wearing her skin, some call her a slut, but mostly I just see remorse over the whole thing.
It's like one of those terrible soap operas where two characters break up, get back together for a day, then break up again, then repeat it forever.
And it's been like this for years now.
They obviously still have feelings for one another in some way.
/mlp/-tan and Anon have gone in limbo. As Anon is essentially /mlp/, they have both died.
As they drift in the nonexistent space, the portal to Equestria opens. /mlp/-tan is given one final choice: Enter Equestria and leave Anon behind, or let Anon go to Equestria and let /mlp/-tan go home. She picks the latter, because /mlp/-tan already has (some) friends, and Anon deserves his rightful place in Equestria.
>Smutty's story was a prequel to Anon in Equestira all along
That ending was fucked up
I remember plus4chan having the board archived after a period of inactivity. Don't know if it's still there but it was where /n/ users went when moot axed the news board the first time (though I believe some also went to operatorchan). They returned on /new/.
plus4chan is a /co/-centered site. /co/ users go there for projects and other things typically not on 4chan's /co/. In a board tan sense, /co/ unintentionally helped the news board continue its lineage.
This part of history highlights a part of his character: he wasn't concerned about the type of board he helped out. Dunno about the board currently but I like to think he just helps people on a whim.
It's a shame /tg/ is practically a dead board filled with nothing but soulless generals.
I remember the boards golden days before the 2011 mod rampage.
Actually the reason it happened was threefold: one, a recent overhaul of the mod and janitor staff left a mod who was rarely present during US peak hours in charge. Two, moot is an appeaser and fundamentally lazy, and the janitor didn't want what happened to /x/ because of moot's laxity to happen to /tg/. Three, the nazi mod had a phenomenally short temper, which eventually drove him out of the channel we used to hang out in, and resulted in his QQing from the 4chan staff when moot questioned his poor decisions.
moot held a q&a in a /tg thread after the event took place. In less than a week the mod was given the boot and permabanned for his poor performance along with trying to supress the irc outcry of the situation along with all of his sockpuppet ip's that he had kept unbanned for his personal use.
After that event he completely disappeared and none of us ever heard from him again and after all these years I don't think we ever will..
Then make art with the librarian. If the masses accept it, good for you. If they don't, stop complaining.
but it was that, it was just when some idiot made some loli with a witch hat, for some reason all the fags when fucking bonkers over it. i'm not the only one who agree with this, if you look back on the early threads of the designing of /wsr/-tan
What bugs me about it is he made it with Walfas' Touhou character creator. Why do people still like Walfas? I suppose it does fit with /wsr/ users being years behind the curve. Tons of the people who make anime requests have no idea about anime.
I have over 80 pics of /aco/-tans saved and I know there are like 150+ pics total of all the different versions.
The cowgirl, J/aco/lyn is the one who gets mentioned the most across 4chan as a whole from my observations.
There's also a native American girl (/aco/rn), a brothel owner lady (Madame Pe/aco/k), a wizard, and a blob monster.
I'm pretty sure the blob monster was made because everyone got too pissy over who should be the "official" /aco/-tan.
And the wizard has been cited as being too OP to be a board-tan since he's operating on a cosmic level.
Bringing up this topic on /aco/ will 100% guarantee create a shitstorm because "waifu wars".
I rarely if ever visit /aco/. More a /toy/ soldier or a /co/mrade. Now, said that, that cowgirl is the only -tan I have seen when talking about /aco/ in these situations:
>Interacting with the other /aco/-tan designs.
>Interacting with the -tans from different boards.
I have never seen either the wizard or the blob, and the only instances when I have seen the native or the madame have been interacting with the cowgirl, but never with other boards, like /d/.
So, if someone ask me, I think the cowgirl should be recognized as /aco/-tan. However, I understand some people won't agree with this because I'm an outsider, so do as you wish.
The main conflict is a group of anons who will not, under any circumstances, tolerate J/aco/lyn due to another group spamming her.
Yet another group incites arguments while saying they favor Madame Pe/aco/k in an effort to make that design hated as well.
Odds are they are both the same anons who have created an endless waifu war for their amusement which has stagnated any legitimate progress and lead to any /aco/-tan discussion being dominated by shitposters to the point where the board would rather not talk about it at all.
Personally I think the butthurt will die down enough by March to get something going again, but it could just as well flare up again.
i tried to make /news/-tan
please get a drawfag to do this next time
One day we'll actually be able to talk about her on /aco/ with the focus being on the sexy and not the waifu wars.
>Impliying you can save /aco/ at this point.
Well, now that /asp/ (my condolences) is entirely different now, what's going to happen with the tan?
That's the thing with these board-tans. When a new board is created, you gotta get there FAST and put up your own idea FAST. Otherwise some unoriginal fuckbag will shit out a design like /wsr/'s using one of those "character creator" websites and they'll all leap on it and it'll be too late to change it. The person who made /wsr/-tan must be happy though, he created a waifu to his own specifications and now he gets to savor and perhaps masturbate to all the art people will draw of her, especially the lewds. Of course, the same can be said for anyone who creates these designs, but at least some of them put in a modicum of effort. It's all the same to me though. I have my own waifu.
You would say there was some kind of witchy activity at work here.
I think you would've done better if I gave you the other pic.
The pre-teen [s4s]-tan is the real one, of course. Anything else is just some horny kids wanting porn. Board-tans never grow up. They are like cartoons, we get older but they stay like that forever. They will live forever in our hearts.
Drew up a little something featuring my main man.
>Man, i knew people loved little girls but this is just silly
>tfw everyone just started arguing about how fat she should be and that's it
At least that poster whose artstyle I liked made another image
