I really like the zero tolerance poilice /a/ mods have for frogs. I'm sure there' some mod who has the frog memorized and actively looks out for it in the report queue since frogposts are usually deleted pretty fast.
Why isn't it like this in every board?
sadfrog.jpg has been around before the newfag sjw mods ever were
Because they all represent smugness? I dunno, that's not really the reason I hate frogshit. I hate it because it's a magnet for redditors and other newfags to come to the site. Some people only browse 4chan to find pictures of frogs, aka "rare pepes" to post in their meme page on facebook.
Reddit has subs for every topic, dumb frogposter. The difference is that frogshit is mostly found on 4chan and redditors actively come here to look for "rare pepes" to fill their collection. /r9k/ turned into a reddit colony because of this.
That doesn't necessarily mean that moderation is better or worse. Usually better moderation is correlated to better users and board quality. /k/ and /tg/ needs less moderation than say /pol/ or /v/ for example due to the userbase.
Why do people think /a/ has good moderation?
It doesn't. Shit generals are protected while decent threads are purged. Shitposts and flamebait is rarely if ever deleted or banned, regardless of reporting. They seem to care more about appeasing the /a/utistic newfags instead of maintaining a decent board for the remaining /a/nons.
