I was on /tv/ for 6 years until it became unsavable. I mostly visit /pol/ and /ck/ now, /qa/ too.

/co/ is my home board but it's become unbearably shitty in the last few years. Everybody is a drama queen or just a helpless retard and the rest are either meme-spouting preteens from /v/ or meme-spouting preteens from /tv/. Would've left a long time ago but the occasional good thread keeps me planted there.
I dunno, maybe I'll get into robots again and try to squeeze my way into /m/ or maybe I'll start browsing /lit/ and master the art of pseudo-intellectualism.

I am trying to get into /news/ but it is hard when you can only post 5 threads at a time and it's so slow that it takes two weeks for the thread to fall off page 10.

swaglord seems to like most /tv/ memes. Frogposting tropes threads tend to stay up, Anvil threads stay up and he even complimented someone's OC in it, and he was heavily involved on the board when baneposting crashed an airplane

They are all my favorite memes though so I like /tv/ the way it is.

The problem is, someone anon will create a thread and attempt to discuss a topic, only for shitposters to join in and memepost/shitpost constantly. Sure you can try to ignore them, but they won't go away.

You report them and they get banned and then what? They just come back in full force and shitpost/memepost even harder before because it makes people mad and it's a quick and easy fix for them to get off on.


This isn't just /tv/ that's getting shit on, it's all the other popular boards on 4chan.


Mods are encouraging shitposting on all boards. Some anon users are truly dedicated and invested in shit/meme posting that they don't even give a shit about discussions or 4chan in general.
