However, people on /qa/, /pol/ (et al.) who routinely post random screenshots of the /pol/ catalog as a reference for why /pol/ is shit are sometimes justified in their complaining by the number of pure shitposting and/or off topic threads at any given time. Mods give a wide berth for the sake of 'free speech' and lack of their own interest in the board topic but that often gets abused.

I'm the first to explain /pol/tards why they are hated, and how obnoxious they are.
But how does that apply to this thread? This is by all intent and purposes a meta board, left alive after it served it purpose only to not to stop the meta discussions. All boards, their moderation, their dynamics and content are discussed here, and the other half of the board is rampant shitposting.

I found this reaction of /pol/ very intersting and coutnerintuitive, and I wanted to share this and discuss it with not-/pol/. How is this not the place to have this discussion?
