Please remove the ban on Western fetish art in /d/. It has severely damaged the community for the sake of a very vocal minority.

/d/'s mod is out of control, and constantly delete things he doesn't like personally. The "No Western" rule was a relic from /d/'s split from /h/, and had gone unenforced at the community's behest for almost ten years.

Here's a thread from when the mod originally split the board back in October. Notice how the vast majority of posters are upset by this change:

Many of the things predicted in that thread, like /d/ having threads that last months instead of weeks, have gone on to happen. There are currently threads on /d/ from late September due to how slow its gotten. Nobody uses it anymore for fear of having their posts deleted by a ban-happy mod.

>Should the ban on Western /d/ be enforced now?
>No - 92%
http://strawpoll.me/5629421/r

>Should we add Western back to /d/?
>Yes - 73%

You said you wanted this site to be for us. This is what we want. This has gone on long enough, Hiro. Please save our board.
>>
Come on, half of /qa/ is already comprised of threads about this very subject, use one of them.

/d/ is fine the way it is right now. Slow boards are comfy. Don't post garbage western images and you won't get banned.

Just so you know, this has been a problem for years.

>/d/ is different. We have built a community. Whether it was from introspection on the quirkyness of the things were into, the connection with artists in the west and the east, the general inclusive nature of the kinks, or whatever, but it's THERE. Yeah, we come to find something to jack off to, but it isn't the sole focus of /d/ anymore. Mods stamp out globalized fetish threads and fetish discussion to keep us in a state we really aren't. Any discussion of adding new fetishes we don't feel follow us as 'extreme' or 'too dramatic' in nature is brushed aside with a no, or a 'I don't want to rock the boat' and it just breeds in a sense of condescending moderation and this statement about 'transience' and 'not contributing' is just insulting.

>And we're not in a vacuum either, we're connected to the blue boards. /vg/'s porn games, /co/'s myriad fetishes, /tg/'s dozens of situationally kinky stuff builds a flavor in /d/ that breeds a pretty big community. No, it's not going to be a /v/, and thank God it's not, but it's there. It's well knit, and it reacts to things in it's own way.

>And that's just /d/. I don't know much of what /u/ or /y/ or /h/ does, but those boards have some semblance of an identity and partial community on the few things I've seen. Most of the 2D boards do, and maybe 3DPD does too. Because people can make porn, and that alone breeds a community. Then in /d/ you get Elzi's little edits and stories, (seriously, if you don't know Elzi's backstory, oh MAN.) you get the general and the request threads and discussion and we're just fapping and leaving?

>Hell no! Why am I even here, if that's the case?

Basically the mods have been convinced that people don't actually use the porn boards, so they actively try to shit on them
>>
>>392158
>"This," counts as copypasta.

Why do the mods hate the idea of /d/ having a community so much?
>>
>>396669

Because they can't quite put the round peg into the round hole when trying to think of a porn board being more than an image dump.

Sometimes I'm surprised they can work the microwave to cook their Hot Pockets.

We need a sticky telling people its okay to come back now.

We need something. The board can't go on like this.

Also
>399 399

>>
>>392499

This is ridiculous
>>
>>384401

I'm just sick of my fetish getting spammed with "how can anybody be attracted to this disgusting shit?!" on /aco/. /d/ had a much better community free of normie elitism.
>>
>>402222

This. /d/ had a nice respectful community. /aco/ is as crazy as /h/
>>
>>402921
I'm laughing because monstergirls are now on /h/, as now they have an anime. Genderbending (ie Ranma) should go there too, as it has been mainstream for years.
>>
>>404078

If we put everything what has an anime on /h/, doesn't that mean that everything from Bible Black should be /h/ instead of /d/?
>>
>>404078
>sending futa back to /h/

Yes, lets. Why are they being so transphobic?

It's 2015 I mean Come ON
>>
>>404968
Futanari gets paired off with more extreme stuff as often as it doesn't. Moving it to /h/ wouldn't do anything but get the pinups and vanilla sex gone.
>>
>>405689
Then we should make a futa only board
>>
>>406005
>>406005

There's been a lot of desire for a /futa/ board over the years. It's not a bad idea.

It gets futa spammers off the board and gives futa fans a place to post away from everyone else.
