Should I symlink images in my 4chan folders to make them show up in multiple places when needed?
Are there any downsides or potentials for confusion?
I don't know what that means.
>>1419727
Like shortcut files except more low level so even software follows the link and treats your symlink as if its the actual file.
E.g. symlink an image that's in a different directory and your file browser will treat the link like the actual image so you can effectively have that 1 image in multiple places without having to actually copy the image.

Probably not, especially if some are probably illegal somewhere.
Did the Imperial Japanese culture of "death before surrender " and honorable suicide have any positive outcome on WW2?
It encouraged suicide bombjngs, yet honorable suicide meant a lot of officers were lost for ending yheir lives in shame over a failure.
It was rad as fuck and that's pretty cool
It probably assisted in the transition to a less war-like culture, yes.

It was a waste of manpower and material. They lost the war the moment they declared war on USA, it was basically a gambit, they hoped to hit so hard that the U.S. government just gives up, agrees to a white peace and leaves them to their empire building in east asia.
How do you guys shave your pubes? If at all.
If there's anything I learnt from this thread it's that red images get your attention easily.
I peel the skin...

thanks I'll try that
Do ban appeals actually work? Is there any person who ever had their appeal approved?
Yes, it happens all the time.
Yes.
Yes and it's usually pretty quick

>4channers are somehow still surprised that fellow 4channers also browse Reddit, the 8th most popular website in the WORLD
Can we drop this false pretense and admit that most people here also browse Reddit?
Are there any good /jp/-related subreddits?
>>1419536
Plenty. https://www.reddit.com/r/otaku/
Also, see the sidebar
wow, I remember when reddit was out of the top 100 and it surprised me that it was so low.
What should I do with a image folder of a board that I no longer use? Should I delete it or preserve it for historical values?

Print out each image and distribute them to 3rd world children who have no memes of their own
>>1419494
Can you write it all to a DVD or something just to not take up space?

You really are a warm-hearted person. Maybe we should consume less memes.

Hiroyuki, maybe you should make the entire reply section grayed out and hidden until a ban is over.
Otherwise, a user will spend 15 minutes writing up a long and thoughtful response, then they click "Reply", and only then are they finally reminded that they are banned.
They waste so much time writing a response no one will ever see. That is cruel to the user.
Added together, how many man-hours have been wasted like this? Probably millions.
Also, I'm sorry to say it, but for the good of the site, the mod who banned me needs to be removed from power. This was on /pol/, I used sage in the thread I replied to. My reply was non-engaging and only scolding OP for creating the bad thread in the first place. I only contributed to the reply limit, therefore I was helping to kill the thread sooner. I did not bump it. The mod therefore should have thanked me instead of banning me. Also, the thread itself had nothing to do with the stated ban reason. The OP had allegedly linked to illegal content on YouTube, and so I was venting my frustration along with everyone else over potentially being added to a list of suspicious people. I assume this janitor banned all 300 people who replied, which is an unacceptable overreach. If he keeps power, he is going to harm innocent users with inappropriate bans and drive them away from the site. You will lose visitors and lose money if you allow this mod to stay.
You seem much more calm this time. I hope you're feeling better, OP.
That's a pretty good idea, and should be implemented if it can. Whether you deserve to be banned or warned is dependent on how often you make bad posts, and how many times you've made bad posts before. Even if a warning was more deserved from the start, at least there was some kind of mod response to the post you made.

Banning everyone who replies to an off topic thread is definitely unnecessary.
Have any of you cocksuckers had any issues with uploading photos here on Firefox? Everytime I do I get a "file is corrupted" message.

Complaining about anime should be a banable offense. I'm fucking sick of this bullshit from newfags pretending anime isn't an integral part of the site's culture, and even worse acting like 4chan doesn't have a culture at all. This is obviously an attack from redditors trying to transplant their cancerous site culture onto 4chan.
People have been banned for that before.

Are monster-like creatures like digimon that aren't human but aren't exactly furshit allowed on /h/? /d/?
I think /d/ is the appropriate board, or I guess /b/ if it's Western stuff.
Be a little more specific, OP.
