ごきげんよう /qa/, the meme team has come up with a few guidelines to improve your experience on /qa/ and encourage people to lurk moar, etc. Memers will be more proactive in ignoring threads when deemed necessary. This won't be stickied.

- Please avoid making threads in “general” or “template” formats. Avoid chaining threads, copy-pasting OPs, backlinks, and the like.
- Avoid redirecting all discussion of a meme to a single thread. Users are free to discuss similar content in separate threads as long as threads are not being spammed.
- As commonly recurring threads tend to suffer from degradation of quality over time, posts inside such threads may be held to higher standards in terms of rules 6 (Quality of Posts) and 10 (Spamming/Excessive Reposting), but I wouldn't know I'm not a mod.
- Threads in /qa/ should be primarily based on /qa/ memes. Consider using either >>>/e/, >>>/y/, >>>/c/, >>>/h/ or >>>/cm/ for image sharing threads, and >>>/bant/ or >>>/trash/ for generals which have long since exhausted all fresh discussion.
- Discussion should be centered on memes, not the posters or communities that discuss said memes.
- Aim for original discussion or content, both when creating OPs and posting inside threads, and allow threads to die naturally.
- Request threads belong on >>>/r/ or >>>/wsr/, and “spoonfeeding” is not encouraged as that degrades the point/validity of using those other boards. Lurk and learn, rather than demand chores from the board.
- Threads which are /qa/ related but have no clear alternative forms (animeposting/frogposting) are allowed as long as they follow these guidelines.

I went shopping the other day at this Asian goods market. The old lady who owned the store was so sweet. She shared her recipe for fishcakes. The only thing was that once she started talking, you couldn't stop her. She was like Mr. Resetti from Animal Crossing. Anyway, I bought some Korean spices and curry mix. I made curry that same day. It had potatoes, beef and carrots. The rice was easy to make. It was just steamed white rice. Everything else about that recipe was a lot of work. Thankfully, it came out well and it was so tasty. I had to send a snap of it. When I finished eating, I turned on Fox News to see how my based president Donald J. Trumperino was doing. I think he gets so much hate for no reason, it's silly what they accuse him of. He had nothing to do with that Charlottesville thing and now Al Sharpton is talking about defunding the Jefferson memorial. It sucks for us when people try to erase history for PC culture. When I finished checking up on our based president, I made my usual rounds on tumblr. Somehow, there's as much drama there as there is on 4chan. But that's what we like about this site. Lol!

what if the internet was considered a public utility, like roads, and everyone had free access to it (like roads), but you had to get a license and registration to drive (post) on it (like roads), and people not of the legal age of majority and/or learning to drive (post) were limited in how/when/where they could drive (post). and your driving (posting) was linked to your registration and if you did a bad post you could be fined and get points against your license, which could eventually be revoked and then you can only look at news websites and wikipedia and not post in the comments

I understand /jp/ and [s4s] is for some reason excluded from this rule, but why doesn't it count for boards like /pol/ /int/ /v/ or /bant/, the amount of fags avatar posting as cirno is too fucking constant.
