I did 2 semesters of Swedish in university(which let me pass the Norwegian language requirement, as they acknowledge any nordic council approved language). Nobody in Sweden would even consider speaking Swedish with me because
1. They want to practice their English as much as possible
2. There's no reason to speak Swedish

Everyone in Norway(except for the fucking """immigrants""") speaks perfect English. Everyone.

I mean yeah, i'd prefer that America and Europe would go back to having a bias in their immigration systems in favor of similar cultured people. Hopefully after the right/nationalists take back Europe that would happen.
