Auschwitz wasn't the place where 6 million Jews died. The current estimate is that 1 million people died at Auschwitz. Some former Nazis claimed that up to 2.5 million were killed there, but that was determined to be impossible and there are no records to prove that anywhere near that number died there.

There's little evidence against the idea of a genocide, but there is no evidence FOR it. The truth though is that the holocaust had been conceived long before the 30's, and eventually it was shoved into the arms of a government who could live long enough to disprove it. I'm not a huge fan of the NSDAP either, and probably would be even less of one if they won the war and took over the USSR's place, but they lost and the cost to losing was being blamed for things that may not have occurred.

The only thing that really points to an extermination (which Hitler did not know of according to David Irving) plot is the Korherr Report and people here have shied away from debating it. According to this report and to Irving and David Cole, 2.5-3 million Jews were exterminated throughout the entire war on Himmler's orders.

David Irwing spent decades of his life fighting Jewish lies however he could. But he ended up in Jail in like mid 2000s, and after that he changed his mind.
