The argument is that the REASON that so many major diseases have died out (is small pocks, chicken pocks, polio, etc) is because the spread of it has been curtailed through immunity. You're absolutely right about fluoride. But they also put bromide in the water, they are equally dangerous in big amounts.

In case people don't know why: Fluoride mimics the properties of iodine in that it bonds in the thyroid gland in the neck. It is so potent that it even replaces iodine, but it doesn't have the same properties, instead it weakens the thyroid.
The thyroid is a gland that controls hormones in the body, if it is deficient in iodine, your body will produce less testosterone (could be why city people, especially men are becoming more feminine and gay today) and it has been proven in an experiment in USA that an increase in fluoride in the water was able to decrease the IQ of the people in that area of up to 15 points. Not only does it fog up the mind, it also makes people neutral and dull making them give up.

Russia, Germany, UK and the US knew fluorides effect on the body as early as 1940 during the second world war, which is why they heftily increased the fluoride levels in the water given to the POW's in concentration camps so that they would lose the fight in them and make them easier to handle.

The fluoride levels in the tap water today are supposedly acceptable, but we're not taking into account that they put a lot of fluoride in industrially produced bread, tooth paste etc. which means we get too much fluoride into our systems. In addition to this, they have begun removing our largest source of daily iodine, the salt, hence making fluoride even more potent.

It is possible to filter out fluoride from your top water by a reverse osmosis-system, but it can be quite expensive as well as that people will believe you've gone nuts if you start filtering your water. (Boiling water does not remove fluoride)

Tips: use toothpaste without fluoride half of the times. Look up salt with iodine (taking iodine has proven to increase IQ, especially for developing fetuses, but taking too much is dangerous)
