>>61110822 If you were even alive to see New York after 9/11 it was one of the most patriotic times in our history. You can say shit about the cucked government and the hipsters faggots, but New York is a big fucking place with tons of conservative'y minded people.
>>61110688 Cruz and Trump were both right on this. Everybody knows what "NY values" are, unless you're from NY or anywhere outside the US. It's narcissism and materialism. Trump was also correct, the city's response from 9/11 was extremely patriotic and they should be proud of that
Lots of working-class are former democrats who switched to the GOP 20-30 years ago, support trump because he doesn't give a shit about religious issues and instead of cuckservatives who pander to them but allow illegal immigration(Remember that reagan signed amnesty for illegals, TWICE). Trump has a clear stance on the issue.
Also his non-evangelicalism is a push factor for a lot of voters but also a pull for a lot of voters who don't give a shit about religious issues since its a bunch of crap.
>>61111262 This fuckin' CUNT. Whatta fuckin' joke, bitch. We all see right fuckin' through you, you two-faced, soulless, haggard-ass demon skank!
Anyway, back to the topic at hand; New York values.
>Fuck you >Fuck you >Fuck you >You're cool >Fuck you >Fuck your city >Fuck your city's pizza >This fuckin' asshole >That fuckin' asshole >get outta my fuckin' way, asshole >hustle, hustle, hustle >make that fuckin' money, honey >get the fuckin' job done >EZ Pass, metro card, NJT, LIE, BQE, Palisades, Thruway, 84, 17 >see something bad happen to that asshole, help him out, because he's dealing with the same shit you are >go to work, bust your ass, go home, bust your ass, get your balls busted, shit, shave, shower, watch some tv, fall asleep on couch, before getting bitched at to come to bed so you can do it all again tomorrow
>>61113922 >Fuck your city's pizza New Yorker here. This one is true as fuck. Fuck everyone else's pizza in this country. Our jew-bagels are the best, too.
We're not all insane liberals though. You'll see the retarded college kids doing so, but most people are middle-left or more traditional values type people. Just with the Jew-York telling it like it is kind of attitude (niggaspeak: keeping it real) and suspicion of anyone unfamiliar appended to it. We have to be suspicious though unfortunately. It's just the way things are here if you don't want to get taken advantage of in some way. That's not just in the city either. Believe me, I'd like to be more neighborly but you're just asking for trouble.
>>61114398 The hilarious thing about the cigarette taxes is that they're supposedly there to make people quit, but the politicians always boast about all the programs the higher taxes will fund, which means they want smokers to keep smoking. And then when E-cigs come along as a safer alternative to smoking, the politicians all get angry and start saying they need to be taxed or banned. I don't even smoke or vape but I think this shit is stupid.
>>61115418 this. I don't know why cruz said that. What the fuck did he think would happen? Did he really think appealing to southerner's "hee haw fuck the yankees" instincts wouldn't be instantly and totally overridden when trump practically grabbed an eagle, wrapped himself in the american flag and talked about 9/11 while the statue of liberty sobbed in the background? This fuck up is ruining our plan to conquer america from within
>>61110688 >most of /pol/ bashes New York prior to the debates for being a super libcuck state >the moment that Trump says anything good about New York mostly everyone on /pol/ now claims it's the best state ever Make up your miiiiiiiiiinds
>>61115428 That's just one example of what I'm talking about, yes.
I quite often travel to the more rural areas of another state to see family, and it always shocked me when I see the farms that have produce for sale unattended on tables with a small lockbox for people to pay. All on the honor system. If you pulled that shit here, niggas would steal the fucking table along with everything on it. When you've got such good natured people like that looking at New York, it's natural that they would recoil in disgust at our "values" because they don't live in the fucking jungle. I honestly wish we could be so trusting like that but it's just not viable in this kind of environment. We're not all degenerates, we're just well versed in avoiding being taken advantage of by thieves and thugs. We have lots of Jews and ghetto nignogs that live here after all.
>>61110833 >He walked into a stumping with the 9/11 piece, though. It was almost as if he had a copy of Ted's talking points ahead of time though Ted wasn't really all that discrete about what they would be. Trump showed up ready to play chess while Cruz was digging his travel game version of checkers out of the couch cushions.
>>61116133 It's a shit post, m8. Nobody is saying NY is the best state. It's a liberal state, we all know that. But conservatives and patriots do exist in NY. They are our brothers behind enemy lines. Trump is one of them.
>>61110688 1.not being a soft skinned pussy 2.being an aggressive driver 3.understanding the value of money 4.realizing most everyone outside of the tri state area thinks they know shit about a new yorker from their hollywood and wall street journal propaganda. 5.being able to adapt to any environment, physically and financially 6.Being able to take command, even when others act like scared bitches 7.being hostile when necessary 8. never backing down 9. putting up with all sorts of people, but not letting oneself be a carpet. 10. laughing at racism
negros are not part of the above list. ny negros have their own rules
I don't know I'm not from New York Only New Yorkers could answer that question Anyone else who says they know and aren't from there are just bullshitting. It's just like my state Nobody knows what Florida's values are unless they are actually form here it's that simple
>>61115261 >Le Internet is not a credible source of information may may Eat a bullet you normie fuck, the pieces of shit like you who scoff at the idea of the internet being an actual information source which is what it was invented for is the most inhuman kikery you could ever commit
>>61116763 >1.not being a soft skinned pussy is that why you are so afraid of guns >2.being an aggressive driver you mean not able to follow basic rules of the road >3.understanding the value of money obsession with shekels >4.realizing most everyone outside of the tri state area thinks they know shit about a new yorker from their hollywood and wall street journal propaganda I know your values are not American values >5.being able to adapt to any environment, physically and financially By demanding a social safety net? >6.Being able to take command, even when others act like scared bitches Of what? >7.being hostile when necessary nigger >8. never backing down gave up your guns >9. putting up with all sorts of people, but not letting oneself be a carpet. What is good about putting up with people? >10. laughing at racism Yet electing the biggest SJW mayor ever
God I fucking hate New Yorkers almost as much as I hate Cruz.
They shit on everyone else in America and the second someone says something slightly less than worshipful about them it's all OMG HAVE YOU NO DECENCY FUCK YOU FUCKING PRICK I CANT BELIEVE ANYONE WOULD STOOP SO LOW MUH 9/11.
>>61113922 >see something bad happen to that asshole, help him out, because he's dealing with the same shit you are
Yeah, you ain't from New York. The New Yorker's rule is if it didn't happen to me, it ain't my business. There are over 8 million people in this city. I don't have time to care about any of them I don't already know.
No she wasn't you fucking numbskull. Her senate seat was carpetbagged to the core. Shrillary never put any effort at attaining any real accomplishment of her own, other than flopping her yeast-infested vagina for political points.
>>61110688 Said this last night: You can't win Americans by insulting Americans. Every part of the country you diss, be they New Yorkers, West Coasters, Southerners, or "Flyover State" dwellers, is a part of the country that WON'T vote for you.
>>61117714 Following the September 11, 2001 attacks, Clinton sought to obtain funding for the recovery efforts in New York City and security improvements in her state. Working with New York's senior senator, Charles Schumer, she was instrumental in quickly securing $21.4 billion in funding for the World Trade Center site's redevelopment. Not a favorite of New York City police officers and firefighters who were in attendance, she was audibly booed and heckled at The Concert for New York City on October 20, 2001, although her husband was loudly applauded. She subsequently took a leading role in investigating the health issues faced by 9/11 first responders, eventually earning the praise and endorsement of New York City's Uniformed Fire Officers Association and the Uniformed Firefighters Association for her 2006 re-election bid.
shut up jackie chan. i don't even like hillary but when she does so much for NY after 9/11 and uses the 9/11 card in a debate and /pol/ bashes her for that, but then Trump does it and /pol/ praises it, it's pure reddit mob mentality.
>>61118762 Because Ted Cruz is a Canadian and he's criticizing Americans. It became a US v. The World thing the moment he opened his little rat face Canadian mouth. And you know how much we love a good US v. The World scuffle.
>>61119063 I'm an SCV member and I support Trump. He may be a northerner, but he's an American. Ted Cruz is not. I don't care what cuckservative radio hosts have to say about it. Ted Cruz is not a fellow American in my eyes.
>>61110688 Cuomo said it best: … You're seeing that play out in New York. … The Republican party candidates are running against the SAFE Act – it was voted for by moderate Republicans who run the Senate! Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that's who they are and they're the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that's not who New Yorkers are."
New York has long given it's finger to the rest of the country. It's about time those snobs got a taste of what the rest of the country things of their "values".
>>61119725 God I fucking hate Cuomo so much. I remember that horseshit he pulled with the red-light cameras in school zones. Then when everyone got fed up with that bullshit stealing money for >muh think of the children!
he backpedaled hard and made himself seem like the good guy for revoking them. Absolute snake-tonged scum. I can't believe he's still in office.
>>61120118 You can blame "New York Values" for why he's in office. I don't get why New Yorkers are so asshurt over this. I wouldn't give a single shit if someone said my state sucks, because it's fucking true. Our fucking "values", as in Seattle, are absolute dogshit, and deserve to be called as such.
The only people who agree with Trump on this, or the birther conspiratard crap, are bandwagon jumping sheep who probably voted for Obama in 2012.
>>61117637 Yeah, I guess you don't remember the black guy who jumped onto the subway tracks to help the white guy who had fallen on them, realized the train was coming, got on top of him and told him to stay down while the train passed overhead. Happened a few years ago, probably when you were trading holographic Pokemon cards in exchange for your best friend to show you his dick. Nigga brushed it off like it was another day at the office when the news interviewed him. I wasn't talking about throwing bums a dime, or walking old handicapped black ladies across the street. NY is filled with everyday heroes who go unnoticed and are perfectly fine with it.
>>61120452 I don't really give much of a shit about what Cruz says or thinks. I actually happen to like him for the most part. He's only hurting himself though by making himself a bigger target for Trump. I'm more upset that he doesn't seem to actually understand the shit part of actual New York values. Like our awful aggressive driving for one, or our crassness to strangers. No one's perfect, but I'd at least expect Cruz to get it right instead of just going
>>61121121 I wouldn't say those are "values", though. Just habits from living in a gigantic city. Impatience is to be expected. The "values" are things like the big soda ban, assault weapons ban, massive voting for Obama and Clinton, De Blasio being a pro-Islam POS, and so on.
>>61121121 >crassness to strangers I was a tourist in that city and didn't find anything out of the norm for America. Plenty of people were pretty nice, which shocked me because I heard stories of how rude you are over there.
>>61122056 De Blasio wants an "apology"? Funnily enough, Ted gave one:
"I apologize to the millions of New Yorkers that have been held down by liberal policies in New York City.
I apologize to the hard-working men and women in the state of New York who have been denied jobs because Gov. Cuomo won't allow fracking. Even though there have been many high-paying jobs just south in Pennsylvania, New Yorkers have been denied the chance to provide for their families.
I apologize to all the pro-life, pro-marriage, pro-Second Amendment New Yorkers told by Gov. Cuomo that they have no place in New York, because that's not who New Yorkers are.
I apologize to all the small businesses that have been driven out of New York City by crushing taxes and regulations.
I apologize to all of the African American children who Mayor De Blasio tried to throw out of their schools that were providing a lifeline to the American dream.
And I apologize to all of the cops, firefighters, and 9/11 heroes who had no choice but to stand and turn their backs on Mayor De Blasio, because Mayor De Blasio, over and over again, stands with the looters and criminals rather than the brave men and women of law enforcement."
He's just not apologizing to De Blasio, which utterly pissing the liberals off. They, and Trump, knew what Cruz meant.
>>61121121 >I'm more upset that he doesn't seem to actually understand the shit part of actual New York values >No one's perfect, but I'd at least expect Cruz to get it right instead of just going Ted's reference was directly referential to an old interview Trump did with Tim Russert when Trump was flirting with a presidential run heading into the 2000 elections. "New York values" is--by Trump--that gays should have the right to marriage, gays in the military, being so pro-choice he was for partial-birth abortion. In fact Trump openly declared back then that his values weren't "Iowan values."
>>61118404 The Pressure on Bush was x1000 compared to Obama too.
Bush comes to Yankee Stadium right after 9/11 when the entire country is looking for guidance, they'd talked about cancelling the World Series over security concerns.
Bush goes NOPE, turns up to a packed stadium, strides right out to the mound and throws it dead center. A massively symbolic moment. Hell, I don't like Bush one bit, but you gotta respect him for that.
>>61123364 >funny there was no massive iowa butthurt back that like with jew york now
I remember Iowan values when my tractor tipped over and crushed old Ben Hansen legs. All us neighbors pulled together like Iowans do and pulled old Ben out of there. That was very insulting of you sir - you should apologize.
>>61111716 I honestly cried while watching this short documentary https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDOrzF7B2Kg
Non-Americans make fun of how Americans treat 9/11 even today, how we think about it and how we talk about it. But they don't understand, man. I have to put on a facade of self-deprecation about it on internet forums around yurops and brits and aussies, but deep down I still have really strong feelings about it.
>>61124875 >reasons behind American revolution come from same source material No, no, they really don't. The American Revolution was epitome of Right-wing Individualism. The French Revolution were proto-Socialists.
>>61128716 Edmund Burke, the father of conservatism, made a distinction between the American Revolution (which he supported) and the French Revolution (which he did not support) on similar grounds. The Americans, he thought, were fighting to conserve their rights as natural born Englishmen. The French, he thought, were doing the opposite -- they were throwing away their traditions so they could replace them, rather than fighting to keep them in tact.
>>61110912 I am from Long Islamd (just outside the city). New Yorkers (not those transplants that claim to be from here) care a lot about their own, and an attack one is an attack on all. It's the New York way. You don't fuck with us.
