Possibe Donald J. Trump Vice President slot?
Trump is always two steps ahead because he is a visionary.
Who are some based VP picks?
Jim Webb, Trump could get Webb to agree, would be the smartest choice.
Webb brings Virginia, a swing state. He shores up the veteran vote that is already leaning Trump, he brings blue dog Democrats, and he infuses the Trump campaign with foreign policy credibility. In addition, he allows Trump to demonstrate that Trump is a uniter willing to seek out reasonable Democrats and work with them on Republican terms.
Strategically, Webb is perfect.
Kasich would be the best choice. He's relatively harmless, has experience on both Wall Street and K Street, used to work for Fox News, and supports most of Trump's goals.
The fact that you can't take the White House without taking Ohio, as well as the GOP convention is hosted in Cleveland this year, kind of makes it a no brainer.
Ohio's unemployment rate is 4.5% right now, even with the fracking layoffs. In NW Columbus area it's 3.7%. The area is booming.
some news sites claim Oprah would be VP
things would get crazy
>According to Donald Trump, a 2016 ticket of Trump for president and Oprah Winfrey for vice president would be a lock for the White House.
>"I think Oprah would be great. I'd love to have Oprah," Trump told ABC News. "I think we'd win easily, actually."
>"She's a good person. I've been on her show. In fact, I was on her show her last week, she said, 'Could I be on her show with the whole family?'" Trump said. "I like Oprah. I mean, is that supposed to be a bad thing? I don't think so."
Top f-ing kek, Trumpcucks.
Same here. Trump is great VP material
However, I think Cruz's greater experience and calmer demeanor, as well as overall political competence will make him a better president.
Trump/Webb fags are those who see an opportunity to capitalize on factionalism in Republican party, head off the conservative revival and burn down the old party structure in order to recreate the Democratic party of 30 years ago, thereby freeing the Democrat party to fall into the depths of degeneracy.
They're basically are for a huge Overton Window shift to the left, knowingly or not.
If you are not on board with Trump/Webb you are just un-American
>muh tea party votes
Trump already has them and he's not going to lose them.
>Donald picks up the phone in the oval office.
>Deep in the bowels of the white house, Jeb is woken from a fit sleep on his dirty cot by a ringing phone.
>Caked in ash and soot he scrambles for the phone snatching it from it's cradle.
>"Jeb? Are you there Jeb? Of course you're there. It's getting a little cold up here Jeb. Don't you think it should be warmer?" Donald says.
>Jeb shocked to ask an opinion, stammers. "uh, I dunno Donald. I guess it could be warmer."
>Laughter is Donald's reply. Harsh and cruel. "No one gives a fuck what you think Jeb. Put more on."
>Tears well up in Jeb's eyes as he replaces the phone.
>He turns, picking up a rusty shovel.
>Begins shoveling Mexican corpses into the presidential great incinerator.
>Far above poor Jeb in his dank little world. Donald's coffee pot begins to percolate.
Another thing: there won't be nearly as much call for Trump to hold back his personality. The VP's office would become a meme generator; once a week quota. Like Uncle Joe without all the touching.
This besides being point man for building wall.
"In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President." -Amendment XXV, Section 1.
"No person except a natural-born citizen...shall be eligible to the office of President..." -Article II, paragraph five, first sentence.
"But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States." -Amendment XII, final sentence.
The Vice president must, if need be, be able to assume the presidency, and must already have met those reuqurements prior to assuming the vice presidency itself. Ted Cruz is RIGHT OUT of both POTUS and VPOTUS, OP. :^)
Maybe Kasich is beta enough to go for the most beta office in the land in the end, and this is the first presidential run where I've been as close to the minutiae as I am, and everyone's in the heat of campaigning. But it really seems like Kasich hates Trump. I don't know if either one would be fine with that, temperamentally.
Jokes apart, he's red-pilled as fuck, awarded Vietnam vet, former Pentagon lawyer and pisses off libruls like none.
The fuck out, we're not going to let Goldman Sachs ruin this. Cruz is a snake.
Attached pic is my vote.
VP pick has to widen appeal, not narrow
would narrow. christfag who turns off dems and centrists
would narrow. forget about the fact that he's technically a dem. rightly or wrongly, dem voters dismissed him as a conservative white man. That's how the ticket would be seen.
would bring lots of extra appeal. too bad that their relationship seems broken now.
home run. 50 state landslide.
Repeat of Wallace/LeMay ticket confirmed
>Implying the democrat party wouldn't self destruct without the major figures to hold it together, fragmenting into dozens of single interest groups
>implying Christian traditionalists, left adrift by the collapse of the GOP, form their own party, and start poaching from the special interests that are in line with American Christian values
>implying the end result wouldn't be a huge shift to the right
Hate to say it, but the only two GOP candidates who have a chance at the VP position are Rubio and Kasich because they'd help carry their states.
I doubt he'll pick someone who's running though, that doesn't happen too often.
No he doesn't, you nigger. The VP is there to shill the President's agenda when the POTUS is actually governing. And break ties in the senate if it ever comes to that.
But the Veep is rarely in the senate, a President pro tempore usually takes care of his duties.
Honestly, what would happen right now if Rand announced that he is going VP for Trump?
It wouldn't happen right now. Trump has nothing obvious to gain from such.
Rand would need strong showings in Iowa/NH etc to even merit consideration, but that would probably only reinforce his desire to keep running for President.
Canadians can't be Vice President.
I don't think it's realistic, but Jim Webb would gurantee a Virginia win, and could also turn a large number of democrats elsewhere if Hillary is the nominee.
He already has Hurricane Katrina to play that role. Doesn't want to pull a McCain either. Honestly, I guarantee his first choice would be Joe Scarborough if that were ever a real possibility.
>ticks webb off somehow
>paul ticked already
could rand/webb stump?
Webb seems like the sane dem candidate seeing as the other two are a literal zombie and the devil, but his policy stances are just too far away from the right.
Rand seems reasonable enough, though they definitely seem to be entertaining the notion of trump/cruz the most
>not wanting trump as the apprentice
It's funny how Randlets embody his childishness too.
>Carson can sit behind him with his shit eating grin and glazed over stoner squint
Or we could tackle the Fed and quit getting cucked..
Can we please have white male leaders again?
Senator Colonel Richard Black for VP!
Realistically Trump will bring one of his own guys considering he trash talks and probably genuinely dislike 95% of career politicians.
The Randlet could be a smart move. Rand gets to shill against the Fed 24/7 and is one of the very few people that the shadow establishment wants even less as a president than Trump so no risk of "accident" of assassination. Since he represents another wing of the party, he would insure mass voting turnout of Republicans and would make it harder on Shillary to portrait the opposing ticket as Hitler 2.0.
He wouldn't bring any democrats but some has a good reputation with independents.
How will you get Carson off the porch? He seems really comfy up there.
Blacks will come once they start to see them in action.
The VP slot has to be someone that they wouldn't dare assassinate trump for fear he'd take over. It's the same reason Obama chose Biden.
Presidents learned to do this after Kennedy was killed and the establishment made a deal with Lyndon "I literally named my dick Jumbo" Johnson
Rand fits the bill. However much the establishment fears a trump presidency, a rand presidency would surely fuck them up (but be great for us)
>mfw Trump picks Rand
>mfw shilled for Trump/Cruz the whole time
Cruz might get a SCOTUS spot if nothing else.
It would suit him and make him be the best conservative judge for decades
Jamie Dimon. We need another businessman in times like these. Military guidance is in the realm of the Joint Chiefs.
