>>61065333 are republicans still making an issue out of gay marriage? mind boggling, its like they want to make it harder to win a general. why do you even need to bring it up? its settled. theyre making an issue out of something that isnt one, its not gaining them any votes, and the position doesnt even make sense.
>>61065836 I have to agree, Kasich did the best out of all of them, but it won't help him.
In the end, Trump framed Cruz's attack as an attack on American values, and I think it might resonate with people.
I liked how they all pussy footed around with the Muslim ban though. They all basically said "Well, I certainly wouldn't accept Syrian refugees, and we have to be careful of who we let in, but we also don't want to offend anyone."
>>61067396 Why do non-Americans care about our politics?
We're a huge multicultural empire with zero consensus on any issue as of 2016. It's impossible to have intelligent political discourse with as much noise as there is here (and the Jews don't help). I wouldn't expect someone in a country the size of my back yard to understand.
>everyone does better than usual except for jeb who had his worst performance yet, he held back tears and had to stop talking so people wouldn't see he was crying >carson memes, says "wake me up when there's a question, tells jokes, forgets to listen to the moderator when asked a question >trump plants seeds of doubt and risk in cruz >cruz attacks trump and says that not many conservatives come out of new york, trump retaliates invoking 9/11 and ends cruz's campaign >kasich didn't interrupt anyone? >christie BTFO rubio >people try to argue with trump about business, make themselves look retarded
>>61067179 I literally tuned out every time I heard Kasich's voice. I'm not joking, I didn't give a fuck what he had to say. And I kind of listened to Christie and Jeb. I'm not alone, no one cares about that nobody outside of Ohio.
>>61065823 >its settled. For now. But you would be stupid to think it is always going to be that way.
>and the position doesnt even make sense. Being against degeneracy doesn't make sense? I think that letting in only certain types of degeneracy that you arbitrarily think is acceptable doesn't make sense.
It's more consistent to say that you should be able to marry anything that consents than it is to only let normal people and faggots marry.
>>61069353 Trump was very .. confused when Cruz started attacking him, I hated it though, it's the way I want Hillary to feel, not Trump, but cringing my eyes and hoping Trump dosen't say something stupid is just denial at this point. And I know I sound like a shill but I am a huge trump fan, but I feel like if we fuck up this chance to get President again, the left will be back in power for decades, if not forever after. I feel like we're risking it. I mean, when Cruz as fighting Trump, I had no faith in Trump to win this argument and just cringed hoping he wouldn't look any worse, and he really didn't do any favors to himself, if Cruz was the nom, i'd never have to feel that way, he's very good at debating, it's almost scary.
Cruz got a few points on Trump, its not a big deal really...I think you suffer from Trump hype so even when he loses some argument points you are destroyed....he's a man like any other, fallible ....he still is better than Cruz. Cruz and his Wife are shills for paid interests.
>>61069574 I understand where you're coming from, Cruz certainly seems like a more calm and safe candidate who may not potentially destroy any chance of a Conservative every being potus every again. But, saying that though, would you really be content with one more Conservative win before the Millennials finally hold political power and we are eternally doomed to Marxism? I see no reason why the GOP shouldn't go full on intense populism and take one last epic swing at the Liberals before it goes down hill, I feel that the ambition of Trump is something the rest of the west sorely needs.
For thousands of standard years before becoming the God Emperor, Trump guided and watched humanity develop over the course of its history, assuming the guise of a large number of historical personages. He was aware that the darker extremes of human nature were feeding the growth of the Jews in Israel, and so He sought to promote peace and harmony on Earth and thereby curb the growth of the Zionists' strength.
The Jews themselves recognized the Emperor as their greatest enemy among all the intelligent beings of the galaxy. Only at the end of the Age of Technology did God Emperor Trump emerge from obscurity to take a more direct hand in the future of humanity, conquering the warring factions of Mankind's homeworld and establishing His direct rule over the Earth. The Emperor accepted the deaths of the many innocents that resulted from His conquest with great remorse in order to achieve the greater good of unifying humanity and protecting it from the manifest predations of Israel
Trump didnt want to be there and it showed. He basically let Cruz stump himself. Cruz is a great debater but a total jackass and Trump knows this. Hes also trying to score some points for being diplomatic enough to let others talk.
Why did the GOP agree to so many debates? The fighting and many cringe-worthy quotes will just come back to bite them in the ass when we finally get to the real run for the presidency. Great strategy! The complete cluelessness just boggles my mind.
>trump seemed a little tired but still did well >Cruz sounded like a well rehearsed psychopath to the point where he didn't even realize he was fucking himself over because he was too trained to ever talk on the fly >Trump used the fact that Cruz can't ever talk off the cuff to rek him by talking about 9/11 when 'new york values' came up >basically said new york values are helping other Americans and unifying the nation >Cruz had to clap because that's what a well trained seal does when 9/11 comes up. >In Cruz's mind as he clapped he was going "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
>oh wow this guy looks bad against a fucking master debater who was biding his time and waiting to catch the guy off guard after amassing a potential following that would support him in the event the other guy suddenly looks bad for whatever reason and people no longer want to vote for him
You actually fell for it. I wouldn't care so much if it weren't for the fact that Trump would flat out be a better president and Cruz wasn't a slimy calculating weasel
>>61070299 It's funny you can actually see the exact moment in the debate where Cruz realized he made a tremendous mistake and underestimated his opponent. He knew he practically lost then and there, and knew it so bad that he couldn't hold his spaghetti while he tried damage control
>>61068847 God I can't stand Cruz anymore. He's such a smug mother fucker. I hope his campaign crashes hard, he's the most annoying and self righteous fuck up there. I would choose anyone over him, even fucking jeb.
Truz did well in the debate about his nationality and btfo a little. But trump made a valid argument when he pointed out that the democrats will use this against the republicans.
Trump showed his powerlevel when the debate switched to China and Economy. He btfo the whole table. Including desperate jeb. I felt so sorry for Jeb. Trump: " jeb you`re a weak leader" crowd booing Jeb : "... " looks helplessly smiling to the Moderators Jeb : " come on.. "
>>61070249 It was cringy as fuck when he started talking about the new art of war.
>>61070299 >>Trump used the fact that Cruz can't ever talk off the cuff to rek him by talking about 9/11 when 'new york values' came up
You can't really retaliate when someone is >muh 9/11ing Cruz got his point across about new york and the audience was cheering and people at home were laughing The worst part of the night for Cruz was that he was not given enough time to repudiate rubios long list of bullshit against him
Rubio is a slanderer that just keeps spewing skewed bullshit every direction trying to steal votes to try and keep himself alive
>>61065502 The Obama birf certificate debacle of the last seven years would have dropped very quickly if "lol my mom is a US citizen anyways guys even I was born in Kenya and not Hawaii" but Obama never counter with that he stuck with the US soil argument.
>Cruz tries to use 'le natural born citizen' against Trump, who was born in Queens >BTFO >Cruz tries to insult Trump bc he's from NY, Trump uses 9/11 to annihilate him >BTFO >Rubio sneak attacks for dat VP slot >Carson tells moderators to 'wake me up' lel, then sleeps the whole time >Kasich the Khameleon plays it safe again to survive
wait, Trump makes fun of Jeb Bush for having a globling wife but Ted takes a shot at hime for being from JewYork? all the sudden woah woah woah man, you can't say that!! my feelings >muh 9/11 >muh big apple >muh town come together
I do not like Cruz but you can see the Trump's face when the truth was told, now that's how you open up a loud mouth like Trump.
Debate was horrible everyone threw tantrums at each other, jeb cried, krispy rekt rubio, Cruz was a creepy neocon parasite, trump looked uncomfortable and was on the back foot except for his 9/11 remark, Carson talked about an emp cyberattack at the same time (lol)
Yeah if you vote for any of these retards you are going to have a bad time
>>61071799 It's the only way Trump or anyone could have come out of an attack like that, to take a high road and render the attack inert. At that point, Cruz wasn't attacking a heartless New Yorker, but he was attacking a victim of 9/11 attacks.
I talk to people on the left and joke about Trump but I always bring up how people underestimate him in that way. I'm convinced that he has the highest IQ on stage.
>>61072179 ha! wtf are you talking about, I find it funny he's taking "personally" because Cruz was right, NYC is just a bunch of degenerate, PC police fucks only wanting fame, I mean come on he was put on his spot, only thing he had to say was 9/11 and is just like yelling racist when losing an argument.
>>61072194 He's a fucking lunatic, neo-con, Canadian proxy
>>61072432 >but he was attacking a victim of 9/11 attacks. >what Did you fucking hear him saying and pointing out what New York values are? he didn't say anything about 9/11, Trump and Jewyokers got hurt because "muh 9/11" fuck off, you got put on your place. >I'm convinced that he has the highest IQ on stage. if he had the highest IQ on stage he wouldn't waste it on becoming a politician
>>61071001 Where were the other two in the video? I heard more than three voices so I thought they were using voiceover stuff but I guess they weren't on screen or something? Maybe they were doing backup from off the stage?
They chose the prettiest three to do the song and dance though so that's smart.
>>61073497 They're all getting stabbed, mugged, and raped instead, dumby. How anyone can actually defend Australia's or the UK's gun laws are beyond me, it's like you actually believe the shit being peddled to you by the people stupider than you are. Or maybe they aren't.
>>61073310 The only person that makes sense is Rand and you all fucking know it, I find it interesting that souther states are the ones supporting Trump the most, he's a northerner and southerners hate people from the north or am I missing something here? if Ulysses S Grant was still alive today he will be really disappointed so many southern people are bandwaggoning Trump for the sake of what? liberty? please.
>>61073347 >he'd use it to become a billionaire! Oh wait! You didn't get my point but OK, he's not a smart politician I tell you that, uses same wording in all events, sounds like an insurance salesmen.
That's exactly why he's literally the front runner in the republican race
Mate you have no idea what you're talking about, his rhetoric and methods are exactly WHY he's a smart politician. The only one that's even contender for the smarter politician is Ted Cruz, and he got fucking stumped
Also your ideas of how the American people work or what Ulysses would think are also laughably retarded, restrain yourself
>>61073891 I don't understand what you're saying. Are you trying to say that Australians have any kind of capacity to manage their anger? Typical Australian, is so retarded he cannot even form a coherent statement.
Trump fucking won hard Cruz made a terrible move attacking Trump in the way he did because Trump pulled cards no one else did
Carson actually had more energy but still was painfully boring (outside of his jokes and stuff) Kasich did well too but like Carson he was a bit boring and he mostly echoed what everyone was saying just with much more I guess validity Crispy and rubes went at it again Cruz and rubes went at it again
Everyone circled around Trump's views on pretty much every issue making them all look stupid They all said "when I'm president" except for like Trump and Carson because they're all cucks
Best moment of the night had to be Trump's "No" to the Muslim question Sometimes I forget how smart he is You don't get "lucky" or whatever in as many times as Trump has without being fucking smart
>>61067396 Because it's the best way to win votes This election is going to have high voter turnout just for Trump as an example You can have that intelligent discourse all you want but the fact is that democracy isn't based on intelligent discourse
Even the business news Jew is switching to the Trump train right now. >http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-01-15/trump-s-closing-argument-concludes-most-complete-debate-performance-yet
Trump going all out about his love for New York City is going to have a yuge effect. Trump is saving that for the debates with the Dems but he will surely mention that he is one of the most if not the most importnat person in revitalizing NYC around 1980.
I'm still confident Trump can make NYC vote for him and so New York state, which will cripple the opposition.
>>61074346 Yes but what a lot of people don't understand is that a lot of people from New England as a whole had people who were killed there, I mean honestly people all over worked there. I believe most of the New England blue will be red this year except for... vermont.
>>61071149 >Cruz got his point across about new york and the audience was cheering and people at home were laughing The audience cheered for everyone except Trump, and nobody except Cruz supporters thought what Cruz said was funny at all.
>>61074689 Well they're obviously fucking not you fucking dumby, and that's exactly why people still manage to kill other people in Australia, it's just that now nobody has an easy and effective way to deter criminals and people that want to kill each other
How the fuck did you loop all the way around to the biggest fucking argument against gun control and why it does not work in its intended capacity, how the fuck did you do that
I typed this post out then remembered you're australian and taking the piss, sorry mate
>>61073999 How is he anti-white? he isn't pro israel either, and does not want open border, I mean who comes up with this shit?
>>61074162 >mate I am not your fucking mate, cunt and he's not a fucking politician you goon, how retarded can you fucking people be? holy shit I hope your economy fails in the next 4 years just for the lulz.
>>61074225 >Japan >devaluing currency I think you mean China burger, Japan has a stable currency and why would Japan devaluate it? there's no cheap labor here.
IMO >Trump had an excellent performance, stonped out other candidates on most issues especially international economics >Rubio is asserting himself more, did better than usual, solidified himself as second or third in the race >Cruz didn't do as well as usual and had to go defence mode several times and use low-blow attacks on some, brought up gay marriage and abortion (give up on it) >Christie, Kasich had a few good moments each, attacking the dems and calling out some bs here and there >Carson brought some life into the room surprisingly, made a a few great points when he wasn't totally asleep >Bush "B-but he said my name" >
>>61074490 >>61074610 Yep, but I have specifically NYC in mind. The man is perhaps the biggest NYC legend in the history of the city.
You'd be surprised by how few people know about the less interesting parts of NYC abroad. If people had to name a New Yorker here, it would be Donald Trump.
Every candidate gets a big boost in his home state. Even Nixon and Reagan landslide fell short in the opponents home states. And Trump isn't merely from New York, he's what the city is about.
When taking into account that the rest of New York state is rather Republican, I think the probabilities of New York voting red are rather high. The Dems would never be able to compete without New York.
>>61074990 Literally anybody can be a politician, that is the entire point of the democratic republic we have in place. And as it turns out he's a hell of a lot better at it than the career politicians. It's becoming exceedingly clear you are a petulant stunted idiot that turns sour when faced with opposition he cannot overcome.
>>61075080 Wish I realized it sooner and saved myself a bit of trouble desu desu
Not in a meme way. He actually, truly won, and even the major pundits are saying it. It was by far his most serious composed, informed debate yet. Cruz initially landed punches but then got destroyed. Rubio will continue appealing to the establishment. Christie will appeal to a certain segment of the population. The rest are now irrelevant.
>>61075115 Oh come on you can do better than that. Let me see a real Shitpost Go to a different room where you can't hear your Sheila taking that big emu cock, and really focus on bringing out that inner aussie shitposting
>>61075015 Please. New York elected Hillary to the Senate over an ACTUAL NEW YORKER in 2000. They re-elected her in 2006. Also - how did that "home state advantage" work out for Romney? Trump could win a general election but he will never take New York.
If Argentina were to invade the Falkands today, your government would issue official instructions for the locals to get on their knees and fellate the invaders, lest some oppressed people of color feel unwelcome
>>61074610 >California and Minnesota are hopeless, I think people forget that the Commiefornia meme isn't really that accurate. The Democrats have dominated California only because of ridiculous gerrymandering of the state districts.
The right slightly right of center candidate could take the popular vote.
>>61075139 >Literally anybody can be a politician >This is what Trump supporters believe, ha!
You people are fucking nuts, I don't like Trump but I think if he wins he will run the US to the ground, not only he will most likely create a small war with some shit country for the sake of "we're to be best" etc, your allies will start leaving you one by one, I can see the US economy crippling and Trump getting impeached, mark my words he won't make it.
If the US would have really unleashed their full might in south-east asia that part of the earth would still burn to this day.
They got fucked on the homefront first. Every weapons cache the US military destroyed in Vietnam was rebuilt in Laos and cambodia. If they had been given a carte blanche they would've easily decimated the NVA.
But politics at home made Vietnam the disaster it was.
>>61075578 >pretends to know anything about US politics when he cannot even grasp the idea that one of the core principles behind our government is that anybody can run for offices if they think they can do better and have the backing of voters
What do you have to say for yourself before I give you a detention to be served after class?
>>61075560 Ah, getting better. But still pathetic, like your pecker m8. What are you gonna do when Canadian Chang comes and Shitposts all over you? You gonna stand there and take it like a street in India? Or are you gonna put the chunk in his place?
>>61075444 To be fair there are a ton of repubs in Upstate NY, and Trump has been courting a large share of Dem support. Also, Trump has been a prominent figure in NYC for decades now. There's a possibility of Trump winning NY, but I agree that it is extremely unlikely >Romney didn't win Mass Was he even a good governor? Also, Romney was just a terrible choice anyways
Marco was able to establish himself as the runaway establishment lane candidate. Bush failed to save face and will drop out after he fails at new Hampshire. Christie did enough to stay alive and kasich tried hard but has a chance to take 4th or 3rd in new Hampshire.
>>>61075305 the madman is hard carry. He invested alot in america, then america went ape shit and his investments plummets so he needs to become the president of U.S to fix economy and shit for at least 4 years in order to go back to his own business and finish the job. ggwp
>>61065823 red meats for the idiots. the dog whistle works. you think the idiots except the idea that gays should be free to live their lives? not a chance. republicans can turn on or off the hate as easily as you can work a light switch
Trump is the biggest non-interventionist dove in this race other than Bernie or Rand. Trump opposed the invasion of Iraq, opposed intervention in Libya, opposes stepping up the Syrian war, wants to de-escalate tensions with Russia, and says Crimea should remain a "European issue". Compared to Hillary he looks like Gandhi.
Why did Cruz walk into the 9/11 trap? If he or his staff did a cursory scan of the media outlets someone has already brought it up and what Trump would likely reply with but he still stepped on a live mine.
>>61075968 I'm from Upstate NY and the "Upstate is Republican!" meme is bullshit. It is certainly not as liberal as New York City, but it is still about as blue as Wisconsin and Michigan. Most of the people upstate still live in and around cities, which are smoldering ruins of what they once were thanks to NYC politicians running the state. Republican voters are leaving for greener pastures and what's left is a welfare shithole full of the worst Democrat leechers.
Upstate hasn't voted for a Republican president since 1988, btw.
Cruz saying "the next president is on the stage" then pointing at Trump.
Cruz trying to stump trump with the canadian birther thing. Didn't really work, but he got his message across.
Cruz getting rekt by his fuckup on forms.
Carson getting a question about war tactics against isis with regard to the fact that they aren't a nation then going off about emps and using big words. Also Carson looking straight up drugged.
Jeb being rekt by Trump
Christie bodyslamming rubio for no reason
Cruz trying to stump trump by saying he has "new york values." Trump responds by invoking 9/11 beautifully about how New York values after 9/11 were amazing and inspiring. Cruz got literally cucked -- he fucking clapped at Trumps come back.
>>61065261 Guys I passed out last night at 4am and missed the last half hour. I was at the point where the mods avoided Trump for a bit, then I had a dream about what happened after. High point was Cruz tripping Trump up with Trumps weakest point but short after he went 9/11 then got Cruz control for the debate I was awake for.
What happened in the last half hour and the post debate threads?
>>61078419 >Top that off with how Ted answered the birther question
Its all total bullshit though. Ted is a great debater, but no matter what he says, it is a legal fact that there has never been any final ruling that would confirm if Ted is eligible to be President, and the chance of Democrats suing on this point are, literally, 100%.
Trump, Cruz, and Christie are up in betting markets. Rubio and Bush are down.
Trump didn't really say anything that would destroy him, especially since nothing else has taken him down. Cruz did decently, but I'm still convinced he's peaking in the polls. His appeal is mostly limited to evangelicals, which didn't make Huckabee or Santorum relevant in 2008 or 2012. Maybe I'm still mad they beat Ron Paul, and hoping Trump wins.
People are losing hope in the traditional establishment characters. Trump is finally winning the betting markets. Bush is still irrelevant. As Rubio hits his ceiling and enters irrelevance, maybe people will shift to Christie, since his New Hampshire numbers are still decent.
>>61078915 The Democrats will never sue because they would be revealing their hypocrisy compared to how they reacted to the Obama birther questions. And even if they did the suit would fail. As Cruz pointed out McCain already stands as a precedent.
Nope. This is not the 1960s, where the press had parties had boundaries, and even JFK's opponents wouldn't mention his adultery that they were well aware of. These days there are too many fringe outlets on the far right and left for ANY possibly issue to not be raised against a candidate.
The Hillary campaign won't sue, but anonymous superpacs will. The New York Times might not make it a front page issue, but HuffPo, Salon, and Mother Jones sure as hell will.
Its not an issue of causing Cruz fans to drop their support- its an issue of the non particularly well-informed 4% of the country in the middle who truly decide elections. A law suit would likely not be successful but it will plant seeds of doubt in many minds.
