"Worship to Hor, you and your substance arise from the house in the horizon.
"Thee being of beauty and of strength.
"Your offering of life is in thine name of eternity."
It was originally a sandal strap. It also is used in the words live, mirror, and goat, though goat has a feminine alteration (all words in Egyptian are predominantly masculine).
The overall symbol and most commonly used is "to live." It has a lot of uses and its overall weight as a praise evokes the same feeling as if someone is throwing a small parade for you and you alone. It's a mighty word in their language.

Some say this book is somewhat outdated, but it's absolutely fantastic. Very little political or personal bias. Noteworthy people still recommend it.

Good choice man, not degenerate. It's a strong symbol that's been passed down through the ages.
I'm breaking down the hieroglyphs in the picture for the hell of it, it'll be up in a second
The words in parentheses aren't actually there but they are necessary to translate it.
>Worship of Hor(us), Thine substance, and ye arises via the Horizon house of beauty and Godlike strength of Eternity. Thine name is Existence of offering.
Heavy shit if you know what it means
The trickiness of hieroglyphic is a truly accurate translation in our language. It's not usually as simple as a few lines of words, these are symbols with huge ranges of meaning.
It is also usually expressed in such a way that creates, not that just recounts an experience.
"Worship of Hor" is mostly an introductory passage meant to give thanks to Hor but also to start the ball rolling in what is essentially a spell.
Strictly speaking the passage then says "you are of substance," and it roughly goes to the next phrase "you rise and shine through -."
The horizon-house is a symbol combination of the horizon and the house. Egyptians must have meditated on certain states in nature and in doing so created certain states that were able to be experienced within the scope of said states, embodied as a house. Thus horizon-house is literally a place. Probably of rebirth since the Sun rises there every day, at the least.
The noun "beauty" is turned into an adjective with the two feathers. The following glyphs are a cluster of symbols implying strength, turned into an adjective with the feathers, and further emphasized with the Sun symbol.
Last line is mostly self explanatory. Eternity belongs to the last downward line.
Dayum son. Never thought I'd see an egypt-phile here on /pol/ of all places. Are you, by perchance, a melanin enriched gentleman?
Also, since you seem to be quite knowledgeable on the subject, can you translate "WE WERE KINGS AND STUFF" into heiroglyphs (or as best as you possibly can)? It'd be amazing for posting in the latest "Niggers try to claim X belongs to blacks" thread.
