I lived in Central Idaho, Town had 2000-3000 people was something like 90% Mormon.

Great people. I'll be honest their religious believes are kind of weird, and yah a few times people were kind of annoying trying to get me to convert, but if all it takes to live in a peaceful community is to have a few Mormon kids knock on your door every other week, I don't really mind.

Stores were closed on Sunday. City had a Sheriff, but I don't even think I saw him write a parking ticket even once.

Ranchers were fairly nice people as well. They distrust the BLM and Fed's alot. They seemed to respect the State Fish and Wildlife Service though. The BLM and FWS have motives that are against the interests of ranchers, and against the culture of rural areas. The BLM has a really fucked up view on how Americas land should be utilized. It seems to essentially be policy that the best use of America land is to not use it at all. And the BLM tries all sorts of underhanded tricks to get the land from the ranchers.

In my experience (I'm somewhat biased in this regard, I worked for several State Fish and Game departments). the State Fish and Wildlife Services are more concerned about Conservation, and ensuring rural communities can continue to use and utilize natural resources. The Ranchers were much more willing to co-operate with Fish and Game, and even allowed Fish and Game to lease property (sometimes even for free) to allow the public access to Fishing and Hunting grounds. They also participated in programs that would prevent Salmon from swimming up there irrigation canals that would go dry in the summer (thus helping Salmon populations.)

The Ranchers really arn't bad people, and they are a lot more "Eco" minded than your Average Libcuck in the BLM, or Hippiestreet California.

The rampant corruption in my country makes me fucking sick.
