Q: However, in an incident with our aircraft, NATO's reaction was quite restrained. Rather, there have been alarmed by the reckless actions of Turkey. Why?
A: Because, of course, that NATO is afraid of being caught up in a real war. And to protect Turkey and they do not really want to. Because, if the alliance would support Ankara, from our side the most logical answer - it is the invasion of the Baltic states. And all the Baltic States - ours. Completely without any losses. Fast enough. Thus, NATO support to Turkey pays the loss of the Baltic states.
That is, NATO spending here this aggressive policy, itself creates such vulnerable points for themselves. This is a common story when stretched "the front line". "Empire", so to speak, do not have enough resources to control everything everywhere, to create the new defense perimeter boundaries.
After all, they have all been designed primarily for the defense of Germany during the "Cold War." Our troops were in East Germany and Czechoslovakia. And they - in West Germany. And now they have to cover the Baltic countries, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania ... It is necessary to create a huge militarized zone. And there will not invest the billions and trillions of dollars to deploy robust military forces there.

Sure Russia knows perfectly well that the sauds will decline.
The Ruskis can play 'good honest broker guy' knowing perfectly well they won't have to do anything. Iran will say "Hell yes" to that offer. So the only bad guy will be sulking Saudi Arabia.

Some reports of happening on the Israeli Lebanese border, some kind of an attack is likely.
Conflicting reports if it was ATGM fire or an IED against an IDF patrol.
early reports state that it was a miss and they failed harming our soldiers, but that's just very early reports. (literally reporting something that happened minutes ago).
Northern Israeli citizens report hearing a set of loud explosions.
Israeli farmers are ordered to evacuate from the area (arounbd mount Dov, not far from where the Hezballah staged an AT attack last year, and one of the places they are more fond of placing IEDs at because of the rough terrain)

Something like 2006 is very unlikely. Much more likely to be something like the ATGM ambush last year in intensity.
Something to note, the last few days we had some very stormy weather here, which is usually the best time to try and infiltrate near the border and plant IEDs.
also a report of an atgm fired against a combat engineers heavy duty vehicle. Still no reports of casualties or reports of no casualties.
gunfire is exchanged.

The UK is literally having thousands of its children raped by paki mudslimes every day, and they are being protected by the government. They can be arrested for being mean on twitter, and their gun legislation is ridiculous.
Do not listen to the whining of a geriatric former power being taken care of by his son.
Unacceptable, creating of Alawite state would mean that Syria agrees to abandon half of the state to wahabis.
We have arrived to restore Syria not to cut little half of it and call it Alawite state.
What do you think of Iran vs. Saudi Arabia? Is there a general consensus among population in Russia? Will you enter the war on Iran's side? What the fuck is putin thinking over there?
war between them will not be, crowing on each other and patted wings diverge do harm to on the quiet.
Assist in the open, we will not because Iran can kick ass Saud especially without straining
Iran vs Saudi Arabia will not happen, because they don't have a common frontier
Also the fact SA is not even capable of waging a correct war against Houtis, so I don't think they'll dare to attack Iranian RG
How big is Latakia? It seems that every time I check /sg/, I always come across the phrase "x is captured in Latakia province". Why isn't this a meme already?
So it's gonna be proxy wars, but not direct one.
Saudi in reality want to keep Iran isolated. That's what they are trying to do, without the help of the USA. But on a pure military POW, Saudi is not capable to defeat Iran.
On the other side, Iran has waged many wars that were imposed to them by Western powers: Irak-Iran war for instance, when Saddam Hussein was a great US allie.
>there were more soldiers in the city of Stalingrad in 1942 than there are currently fighting in Syria
considering this, capturing a few buildings is first weeks of Barbarossa level of success
>there were more soldiers in the city of Stalingrad in 1942 than there are currently fighting in Syria
What happened to the wars
UN made em mushy...that and no super powers fight anymore cause America will piss on everyone's fun. I mean the total amount of people dead in the Syrian civil war is 300,000. Stalingrad alone had more casualties.
All of those screams of "Slaughtering" and "Genocide" in the middle east sometimes making me forget how much blood were spilled during WW2 to be honest.

HAHA, it looks like a hells angels party from the 60's gone wrong. Except if you lit a fire in a park you might arrested.
There is a bbc documentary that delivers lots of laughs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ng8Ll7x08Vk
If I'm honest with you, I don't think PKK is actually good. I mean, sure, I love whatever causes problem to Turkey and their faggot government, but they're actually terrorists, they might say they are fighting for freedom, but they are still making attacks against civilians when they should be attacking their government instead. The civilians didn't make nothing wrong, after all.
Beside the inconsistent use of "string" identifiers, it's not a bad table. Turkey likely plays a dual role on both sides. You might want to beef it up with separate classes/categories for funders. Also I am not sure nato is involved, it's some American 60 nation coalition including gulf states and all sorts.
Also it's a bit of a motley crew because some of the coalition members have not flown missions since march or april. If you have the appetite you can likely grow a very big relatedness chart for all the players. and then from that generate a bubblechart from it too.
a relatedness chart would be extra cool, because relationships that are not obvious would become apparent through actions that support similar outcomes and where the relationships to other entities on your chart are the same for both.
Now I don't know if you are autistic or not. But let me say this. I sure hope you are, because that is something I would like to see.

USA/Turkey/nato should just go in fuck putin and bomb every1 with weapon and nuke iran and saudi

Why ever live comrades?
You want to figure out a simple set of basic 'genetic' markers to characterise all the players that you have. a suggested set might include [goals: secular state; islamic state, chaos, balkanized secular state; funders: ksa, iran, usa, gulf, turkey; operational allies: list of all players; operational enemies: list of all the players; weapons systems origins: usa, iran, ussr, russia, nato countries; weapons level: light arms, artillary, tow, atgm, etc, etc]
You could easily figure out a scoring system and we could all admire your work. I suspect you would find that most of the players are clones of each other - i.e. isis, j-a-n, fsa etc - they are just shell companies that have been set up on a repeat basis.
PKK are full of shit, theres so many kurds here in Sweden, believe me their the worst, all the nations in ME hates them.
PKK had legitimacy in the 70s/80s now their a big organisation that sell drugs and weapons and want to keep the picture of "freedom fighters" so they can keep the legitimacy, their cause is money and power, nothing more. They kill civilians and kidnapp people, the kurds in the region dont want PkK, even the Iraqi branch(barzani) said that PKK is full of shit

I don't follow these and check this thread like once a week for the map but isn't there something going on in Yemen? Is it possible that Iran could send soldiers there? j/w
I couldn't give less fucks about who hates them and how they're the worst and whatnot. But killing civilians when you're "fighting for freedom" isn't precisely the smartest move. That's what I don't like them. If they were really fighting for freedom, they wouldn't bomb the average citizen, they would try to attack those in power.
If we're going to defeat them, we may as well get payed in the process. Emperor Trump is a business man who makes good business deals only, expect a check when we're through saving your asses from a quagmire.
well saudi arabia is directly involved but iranians are just helping the houthis. now that theyve broken all contacts with each other its quite possible it will escalate to a real war. the problem is that there isnt one definite government to ask help from the iranians like assad did in syria. Its the ousted president + houthis vs the new president + saudis. plus some isis/alqaida
also there could be like zero oil in yemen
Look. He can buy it, like russia and china did with iraq oil, but he can not "take it" for free.Because he will need a ground troops to hold fields from assad forces and ISIS.And if he will clash with assad forces it will provoce russians.
And I am not sure he will send soldiers in the first place. Too much shit happened with iraq.
You don't get it
It is actually genius strategy
When we invaded Iraq leftists complained we were only doing it to take oil when really they were selling it to China while America oil prices skyrocketed
If we are ever involved in another ME war this time we are going to make the occupation pay for itself and really if you are occupied everything in the country belongs to the occupiers
But like you said he wont invade he might even support Assad and help Putin bomb
