friendly reminder that every poor misinformed conservashit who votes against his own economic deserves a bullet through the head
>lol that thing you agree with is dumb and you deserve to die for agreeing with it
>Here's a picture to help gaslight you even more -- I mean stimulate discussion :^)
These are blatantly false right off the top of my head:
Interstates -> Eisenhower
National Parks -> Teddy Roosevelt
American Revolution -> Conservative Libertarians
That's probably the tip of the iceberg as far as what's wrong with this infotainment graphic.
Democrats opposed civil rights
Democrats did Jim Crow Laws
Democrats founded the KKK
Democrats wanted gun control to disarm blacks who were defending themselves against the KKK
Trump owning poor little Jeb!!!
Trump destroying Colonel Bernie Sanders in Iowa!
>Clean water act
>Clean Air act
Pic related did that.
It's totally irrelevant what they did in the past, the only thing that matters is what they stand for nowadays.
If it was any different then Merkel wouldn't be working on genociding Europe right now.
The problem is that the modern definition of liberal is almost the opposite of the classical one.
Anyone who believes that the liberals of the past were the same as modern "liberals" doesn't know shit about history.
That image is retarded.
I'm trying to picture what sort of cretin would think all of these are bad things. Where did you get your wealth, because obviously you have lots of money if you think all of these were bad ideas.
Now there's a laugh
B-BUT MUH PARTY SWITCH!
It's a fucking myth, Democucks have always wanted niggers to be leeches and slaves to the state (today in the form of welfare and programs) whereas Republicans have tried make nigs be independent and self-sufficient from the government. That still holds to this day.
>Obamacare was a pretty fucking bad idea desu sempai
only because the conservatives fucked it up.
before obamacare: if you got sick, or your kid did, and racked up large medical bills, they would simply cancel your policy, even if you had paid premiums for decades.
before obamacare, if you had a pre-existing condition, they would not cover it. so, if your kid got sick really bad, they would cancel your policy and nobody would insure you. meaning that you lost your house and became homeless as you tried to pay the astronomical medical bills that american hospitals charge. like $80 for one fucking aspirin.
why is that a good thing, my german friend?
>The America Revolution
In no way, sense or form were the Patriots like today's socialist Democrat Party.
>Abolition of slavery
Nice revisionist history. That was Republicans.
Not going to bother replying to the other ones, which are an admixture of retardation (the weekend, fucking seriously?) and actual liberal initiatives that failed spectacularly (Obamacare).
That's precisely where the myth originates name, cucklord. See the link below.
States != Parties
Funny how they only go back as far as the revolution. Every society in history has collapsed when people begin to consume more than they produce. Right now, liberals are demanding just that, more consumption in exchange for virtually no increase in production.
That was a conservative movement. They were fighting for roughs they believed they were owed for being citizens of the crown. The issue was the crown was deny their pre established rights. The aftermath of the revolution wasmore liberal
Everything new is opposed by conservatives. That's the function of conservatives, to question new ideas so that every crazy notion that gets into someone's head doesn't get automatically implemented.
look at this guy who insists that his employers pay him below the minimum wage, has private healthcare, only attended private schools, and will undoubtedly say "no thanks!" when those social security checks arrive in the mail when he's an old man.
There were actually conservative democrats at one time in America. JFK was the last one.
>Federal min wage
>Women's right to vote
>Clean water Act
>Clean Air act
Nigger, please. Next you'll tell me that retirement is awesome too!
do you understand the difference between ideology and political parties? political parties change ideologies over time. for example! the democratic party was once the party of southern bigotry jim crow, and states-rights. after the 60s, all those same conservative politicians switched to the republican party (see: strom thurmond, et al.) and all the progressive republicans switched to the democrats. you can look it up yourself.
