Post your salary and the hours you work a week
>4k a year after taxes
how about yourself anon?
prev 80k/yr for major petroleum service company
took a pay cut for a wealth of experience growth for a mom and pops company doing the same thing, gathered more experience/licenses/certifications in 6 months than i did in 3 years for the last company. but took a pay cut, 50k/yr 40-50hrs per week with up to 70hrs per week depending on large projects.
45 hrs a week.
starting position at an Electrical Firm (we wire office buildings around London)
Flat: £18k a year for rent
don't really get many benefits, some assistance for student loan which is around £500 per month.
consider the size of texas - if we do a project in west texas it takes 4 hours to drive out, run into problems? your 2 hours visit turns into 6-8, then another 4 hours trip home
just depends on time bid and complications
>spring/fall - 55-65 hours a week from 700-900$
>summer - 50-60 hours a week 600-800$
>winter - 40 hours a week - 500$
>also take on side jobs in the winter.
I take home around $15,000 a year and work an average of 20 hours a week, and I still manage to save about 10k a year.
thats fucked, brazil bro.
bright side is youre to busy to fuck up the bf4 servers.
It would be almost $200k if it weren't for niggers taxing me through my ass. I need to figure out how to keep more of my money, if Apple can do it maybe us little folks can do it too
116k/year base with ~50k/year in stock hiring bonuses over the first 4 years, 25k/year xmas bonus, and around 4k/month performance bonuses (other minor bonuses such as phones laptops trips etc). I work about 8:30-4 with breakfast and lunch provided 5 days a week and am really fucking good at my job. Stay in school kids.
I don't even know how long I work since I just draw porn at home.
Sometimes 14 hours a day. sometimes 30 minutes.
it's enough to live comfortably though.
$82,000 + $16,000 yearly bonus broken into quarters.
8,000 shares worth over $100,000 currently that vest over 4 years.
Also my employer matches my 401(k) deposits, so there's that.
I officially work 9-5 but it's really 9-6ish.
Free food, gym membership paid for, expensify anything when I'm traveling keep my costs down.
Fucking plebs, 25 year old here.
40 hrs but I work shit hours and I gucking hate it.
It has made my depression so much worse, I barely sleep my boss yells over bullshit, my coworkers piss me off. There is no future, I gotta get a job that uses my degree or another degree with loads of jobs
im not rich.
custom inground poolboy. technician.
i make 20 bucks an hour up to 40 hours.
30 an hour for time and a half.
average about 60 hours a week for the year.
with side jobs in carpentry when its slow in the winter.
have a family. wife makes good money as a psychologist for kids with learning disabilities. autism/aspbergers
just work hard and manage money well.
own a home on 8 acres of land.
not rich financially but rich in pride.
Going back to school which is why the number of hours is where it is. I actually like this though, first job I have had that wasn't 40+ hours and cucking my life.
$10/hr 40 hrs a week.
Was making roughly 375/wk but now I'm being garnished by Municipal Court for refusing to pay a handful of fines.
Now I get 217/wk.
Fuck the courts yo.I successfully stalled that shit since 98. Obstruction charge I refused to acknowledge because I was swimming in a hotel pool. Like seriously???
Anyway with interest it's like 4k now.
Fuck. I guess they won.
My hours are technically 8-5, but I'm salaried so it varies. Half the time I just punch in an hour early every day and take off after lunch on Fridays.
Gif unrelated, but I'm tired of waiting for a good opportunity to use it.
>57 hours per week
>earned £97,000 in the last 12 months after taxes
so youre basically on the side of the teenage commies who dont want to work while reaping the benefits of those who do?
i dont know how things work in australia, my friend. but here we put in work for a nice life.
maybe 4chins can set up a wage for all the shitposting?
40hrs (sometimes more sometimes less)
80k+ a year plus bonuses
Im a union autoworker. Its pretty easy work, ive been there for 10yrs now so i have a nice easy job and shitpost a lot here.
>Implying anyone here is telling the truth
The only ones you can believe are the modest ones.
The 'lol check out my 300k starting as a petro chem' are lying, and I know this becuase Im a chem engy and these guys are talking through their teeth.
im unemployed btw
Question for anyone that makes over 60k
What do you spend your money on?
Like, I just got my first job as an engineer, and honestly, I don't know what to spend my money on, I feel like I'm just gonna save it?
>home on 8 acres
>vacation twice a year
we live pretty frugally considering we make a fairly decent living.
most of the extra income is saved for retirement/kids education.
goal is keep debt to a minimum.
Maybe 6 hours a week.
40 - 50 k per year
>tfw residual income
>I haven't "worked" in over 3 months and money still rolls in
Invest because nobody ever became a billionaire working 40 hours a week.
Sell investments rather than using credit ever.
Finance a <3% apr car and pay that shit off in a year, sell it and finance another car. Do this until you have a nice car.
Director of business development for an industrial supply company. They hired me because of my background in oilfield work, needed someone who can speak the oilfield language with customers. The whole corporate office has turned over in the last year, and I don't think anybody up top knows I'm a highschool dropout that worked his way up on the drilling rigs lol. Just keeping my mouth shut, using Wikipedia to research business terms and generally faking my way through each week.
Hours: zero to 68.5
Salary: zero to $178,360.
My industry has a casual employment system on a seniority scale. I'm in the second highest tier of seniority and it took me nine years to get there. I was hired at the age of 21. I can work any day of the week, any shift that I want. I generally choose to work able four days per day and my year end including was $98,000.
It's pretty cash. I wait around for people to get hurt or drive heavy machinery depending on how I feel that day.
It's just a part time job I have until i join the armed forces
I have a mountain of debt that's consumed half my income for two years. I also spent $8000 on a computer and $10000 or so on guns and ammo. I live in squalor on the remaining $15000 or so because of terrible spending habits.
You and me both brother... Plus the more you earn, generally the more expensive your bills get. I live comfortably but I had more disposable income when I was 15 working part time
30 hours a week at $8.25 per hour
Medical debt around 55k
I'm 32 years old
Don't worry, I've almost saved up enough for the pistol I'm going to blow my under achieving brain out with
>Thinks $250k and under is rich.
Don't get me wrong, when you are in the bottom quarter of the six figure scale, it's comfy. But you aren't rich. Lots of sacrifices have to be made by guys in trades and industry. I was dirt fucking poor for about six years while I learned my jobs.
The white collar guys also have to live up to a certain standard as well. I took a figure aid course with a guy earning about $350k per year. He was a down to Earth guy that stumbled into the lifestyle.
And it is a lifestyle that is enforced... You have to drive a certain car, own a certain home for the purpose of entertaining clients and impressing them, amongst other shit.
Sure, he has a lot of nice stuff but he has to own it. The dude has very simple tastes and only drives his Mercedes when he has good show off, because that is a part of the job.
cyanide pill is a less painful and faster way to go, be sure to take it on an empty stomach, if you are NatSoc I'd hate to see you go :(
> 0 hours
> 4000€ (while living at home and going to college)
thanks mommy merkel :)!
11k in welfare.
I have a neurological disease that causes paralysis. So even though I'd love to work. I can't even drive or leave my home anymore.
Still. It has allowed me plenty of time to study the Bible and that has been fun.
37.5 a week, but I'm a salary fag so in reality there are a few more hours tacked on when I need to stay late or deal with shit when I'm home. Bonuses included I fall right between $45-50K. It never feels like I make enough, but we all feel that way.
I consider myself good with money but also have a hard time saving much. There are just so many things that come up throughout the year and it feels impossible to save anything. Like shit breaking on a car, gifts, opportunities that come up that are sort of obligations, like bachelor parties for example. There is always something to take that amount left after debts, bills, rent, etc. I make $15K more than I did 3 years ago yet it's harder than ever to save.
Own 4 hotels
the most I took for myself one year after taxes was 320k but a lot of that was contract agreements. average is 150-200k a year. I'd be lying if i said I enjoy the work but I can retire earlier and give more to charity.
work my own hours
$150k a year
>tfw math major
>he is a business owner
>he makes more money than me
HOLY SHIT YOU FUCKING SGOD DAMNED GREEDY SCUMBAG YOU ARE MAKING MONEY FOR YOURSELF WITH A BUSINESS? OMG YOU GREEDY FUCKER YOU SLIMY NASTY BASTARD OMG OMG I SLAVE FOR $7.25 AN HOUR AND I MAKE NO MONEY BUT YOU GET TO MAKE MONEY? OMG THAT MAKES ME SO SAD AND MAD OMG INCREASE MINIMUM WAGE TO @26 AN HOUR SO ITS MORE FAIR ITS SO UNBALANCED WAGE GAP WAGE GAP WAGE GAP THIS IS NOT FAIR NOT FAIR! OH MY GOD THIS IS SO NOT FAIR!
I work about 45-50 hours a week for €60,000. Can choose to work more or less but not less than 37 hours a week. All my over time is anti social hours but at least I can pick when I do it so I don't miss out on much so I ally.
don't forget increase duh holidays because you poor public sektorz need to have at least 15 weeks off the year when doing standard set shifts to rest your poor weary heads and aching backs
around 28.000€ a year (varies every three months according to the €/$ exchange rate, so it's actually higher now)
40 hours roughly, excluding my one hour break time for lunch every day (so 45 including it)
Hahaha! I like you!
So how old are you Anon? When'd you start your businesses or whatever? I haven't yet entered the job markets, I'm 18, but I'm looking for ways to make as much money as humanly possible.
So far my plan is to work in fast food for 10 months, get the experience and then go to trade school for welding, and then invest in the stocks. I still live with my mother, so I got rent covered. I just gotta save up alot of money and invest.
>wasting his life working and not enjoying any of his money
You're an idiot, just saying. I'm not saying blow through all the cash, but you should hire someone (would help with Spain's unemployment too, jaja, since you're so charity-minded) and go live a little.
I have a friend who has made his life fortune through the hotel business and he told me to go for it, so me and the wife saved up. 12 years ago English banks (holidaying in Spain atm) were giving out loans like no mans business and I got them down to 1.0% above base. The grand opening of our first hotel 1 person came. We didn't have much idea what we were doing but we persevered and worked our asses off and we've been building since.
>+~$20k worth of benefits
>+~$5k from extra work
>guaranteed a $3k raise each year
Not terrible, considering my day's over by 3pm and I get weekends/vacations regularly.
Shit. What else would I be doing?
Also, I owe a fuckton in student loans.
With experience ?
For the same job in France I do 50k euros as a junior and it is one of the best salary of the market lol. You are lucky to have stricter immigration laws than us ;)
do you think I run four fucking hotels all by myself? I lose over 1 million to staff wages, and now and then some sly fucker tries to sue you for thousands cause they slip and fall down the stairs and you have to battle that in court WHILST RUNNING 4 FUCKING HOTELS then you've got Sandra who is poisoning all the staff by spreading rumours and lies about the company owners making their worklives shitty. You really have no idea what I do entails and I doubt you could do it.
I grew in absolute poverty 1960's England - and from the age of 8 I knew i was gonna get as far away as possible from that situation. Real business is about helping people and giving those less fortunate (but who will actually help them fucking selfs) a leg up, like my friend did. I do the same and so do all real business owners. Don't forget we gotta maintain the business so everyone can feed their families, its a lot of responsibility.
I'm always surprised at how low that American minimum wage is, but then again, I always suddenly remember that Beaverbuck has fallen so low that our minimum wage is worth like $7 USD now
Depends on if I have a gig, 0-40 hours though.
I quit working every year when I hit $45k, it's more than I need. My wife makes more but I have huge investments and I manage all the money.
Household, 90k / year, 325000 in cash, 2.8 million in real estate, 200k in stuff like fancy paintings, gold, and antique guns and stuff.
22 year old neet... have a few hundred thousand dollars though and a house, never worked a day in my life.
just gonna play video games and stuff til i eventually die..
I don't even know how much I get they just print me free money because I'm unemployed and have depression.
I doubt I could.
But do you take holidays though? I'm just saying, especially since you said you don't like the work that much... why wait? Why not just sell your hotels and enjoy life now, before you become to old to do everything you ever wanted to do?
52 years old and we started 12 years ago. Theres three ways to make mega bucks and only two. inherit it, Get outstanding grades in school and work for a company who pays you megabucks, and three start your own business.
Seriously kid it is paramount you do the best you can in school because despite what the people say here on /pol/ if you get a first in [insert supposedly pointless degree here] it will greatly increase your chances of getting employed or getting put on a graduate course to which you can earn a decent amount per year which you can save whilst you plan (planning is the arguably most important thing) what business you're going to start and grow. Also read the art of the deal, the prince by macciovelli, I'd reccomend more books but I don't actually read all that much. Also getting into a sport helps raise that masculine energy you'll need to survive the private sector world but I know business owners who aren't sporty, its more of a mindset really. Good luck!
142k per year since I started last year.
Got free college after the Army, and became a nurse anesthetist. Dudes, I hardly work.
Go Medical my niggas. People are always dying and getting sick. I'm about to move to China soon, so I pretty sure I won't get to use 4chan anymore. Apparently, medical jobs in China are in urgent need filling. Pay is apparently huge. I originally learned Chingchong just to go to China and fuck Slanted pussy.
Aircraft maintenance for the US Air Force
45-60 hours/wk, depending how bad the jets are broke
About $21k annually, but way more if you include all the benefits, plus money I save from those military discounts
Oh my, are you trying to imply that running a business is not the sitting on the golden egg that every liberal on Reddit wants me to believe? I'm not sure who I believe! The wagecucks or the business owner! Sir I think I'll still vote Bernie!
I have two of them on the market, one has been on for 4 years. Hotels don't sell as fast as houses and especially given the economic climate. On reflection it hasn't been all that bad, its been really interesting, I've met some characters from all parts of the world and had laughs with them all. It's just such hard work which never seems to end but life is work and that's just me complaining. I'm holidaying right now in a house I recently bought here in Spain and when I look at the view from these Spanish mountains onto Malaga city it reminds me why I do what I do. it's really helped me grow as a person, and my wife too.
I guess what it comes down to is that I just couldn't see myself saying "yess boss sir" to some jackass who I don't think is paying me enough to which I go home to my average house and complain about it to my Wife. And, most importantly I wanna be able to give my kids opportunities I never had
>~25 hours a week
>~$11,000 a year
I fucked my ass over in High School so I have a GED. But shit, I think I'll have to just work my ass off in whatever education I choose though next, because now I know I have to take it seriously. Thanks for the advice.
When you are in a company vehicle and en route to a client, you are on the clock. This guy isn't an office worker. He probably goes to a different site every day.
So, yeah, travel time counts. If you work at the same location every day, you probably are getting paid as soon as you get to work.
I get paid travel time to go to locations more than one and a half hours away from the dispatch center.
do you do extra work, while you're off for 7 months. if so what dyou do?
>do you do extra work, while you're off for 7 months. if so what dyou do?
No I don't, but I really should have to make a bit more. But it's kinda nice to have 7 months free to fap to porn all day long.
I don't know what a GED is but you'e 18 you still have lots of time, but that time isn't to be wasted! whilst you're studying go out and try sell things. Posters, firewood, car parts, whatever. It will develop your confidence and entrepreneurial skills and they're low risk items to sell. Read Rich dad poor dad, that is another good book on how to get rich, easy to read too. I'll sum it up here though - don't spend money, use money to make more money. Don't be a consumer, make those consume!
I work with a company who brings clients. I'm considering moving abroad for a while because I could earn a lot more with this.
I dont have apps just my hobby projects.
I dont know how other devs even have time to build their own apps or contribute to open source stuff, after 150 hours a month you dont really want to sit on your ass.
those stories were over the course of years.
poolboy life is rarely as exciting as the stories made it seem. you do however get to see some really cool shit like pic related daily.
$1250 USD monthly welfare.
0 hours, no activation or other bullshit.
I AM FREE AND HAPPY
THANK YOU BASED WAGEKEKS!
I make about 200 euro (220 francs) a month walking peoples dogs for them. I still live at home of course.
It feels fucking terrible man. Sometimes I walk past a gang of shitskins at the park who throw chocolate at the dog and laugh as it overpowers me trying to eat it
The people I 'work for' are fucking terrible as well. All obese and can't be bothered to walk their fucking dogs. I used to have a client who forced me to give his dog a jam donut whenever it did a shit because it had blood in its shit and he didn't want it to feel bad.
This. Technologically speaking, there's no reason for goyim to work forty hours a week. And all of you who spend all your time working cause muh paper are a bunch of cvcks wasting your time to buy unnecessary shit.
And the only freelancing you can do is software.
And the only "technology" that is freelanced the most is php and java because nobody in the right mind wants to do that shit.
>$12,000 a month
Where in the fuck do you live? I have friends in downtown manhatten paying only $1,600 a month, in good areas. I pay $750 a month in a small city. You gotta reevaluate where you are living boss.
36h/week (a lot of downtime though when it's busy, it gets REALLY busy)
I don't really like my job, but it pays the bills. I would much rather make less money but make youtube videos all day and just generally whore around on the internet instead of dealing with the public.
>bettering your financial status
fuckk off with that shit bro. i agree with your point that technology can replace much of the labor force but that transition is massive. its impossible to do it with our current economic policies without major problems in society occurring.
the world isnt a zeitgeist movie.
