So how do you think the feds are going to approach this armed revolt?
I say they're going to either
A)Leave them be for now and try to find a diplomatic option
I highly, highly doubt they're going to repeat Waco or Ruby Ridge. Not in an election year, not when their candidate is Hillary Clinton and doing so would bring back memories.
I suspect the militiamen will play soldier for a little while and then leave/surrender to police once they've gotten their point across.
Play it to the hilt, surround the place, then bring all the MSM out there to show them the crazy domestic terrorists and the need for strict federally controlled gun laws. Repeat ad nauseum. Use the siege as a way to whittle down supplies and blast loud music and similar psyops, create mental fatigue and thus heightening bad decision making. Use some sort of bait, maybe deliver food, then get the bait shot and wounded by one of the mentally fatigued militiamen Create uproar on the MSM, justify armed assault. End.
They'll send in the great negotiator!
Hopefully do something autistic and start another Waco. Not sure if it would go down like Waco because these guys aren't religious fanatics and they took over a building instead of fortifying a compound. But if a protestor is killed expect large backlash
Sorry Paco, this is America -- not Mexico. People here actually believe in their rights. The charges brought up are ridiculous. The government will let these people get their victory and the media will pretty much ignore it as a non-story like they did with Bundy Ranch.
If Obama actually orders people to be shot it will guarantee a Republican victory in 2016. Obama will not let his legacy get tarnished. The MSM will ignore the event, the White House will ignore it, no one will care -- this is obviously the best outcome for all involved. Washington will not martyr these people.
>pic related, the great negotiator
Can you imagine what would happen if Trump resolved this issue
starve em out
wait for them to surrender
go on with your life
As an Oregonian, I can say, I have never heard of either this refuge, or the county, and I travel around (parts) of Oregon quite a bit.
The big attractions are mostly
I clicked 'embed'. It's just a video, mp4, it couldn't possibly put malware on your computer.
>embed might be an option only if you're a scriptfag, I don't even know anymore.
It's an interesting video, and if you're from the US you'll probably be able to interpret it better than I can.
I don't think that's the same place. It looks like the middle of a small town when they aren't. They also wouldn't let someone just stand there and film.
Looks like a drill.
Word would've gotten out by now
Fucking fake, amateur vid of some Counter Terrorism Drills.
>it's never going to happen
Well that's fucking disappointing.
Happy to have you :))))
The second amendment was written by radical men whose lives culminated in revolution against their government. They all saw it as a noble just cause. The founding fathers were treasonous traitors in the face of a government they found oppressive. This is exactly what the 2nd amendment was made for.
Also not dissing it. I think it's beautiful.
It's just some video of a movie set or some drill somewhere. It is clearly not the current situation as the video is in a town and you can see people casually strolling around as the guy lets loose with his mounted machine gun.
>militiamen will play soldier for a little while
You know at least half of those guys are veterans right? Also you know just being a good shot and level headed goes a long way? Even if they are just citizens. That doesn't mean they are helpless and weak.
I don't know if you fully understand Waco since you aren't an American. But essentially Waco was a massacre the government created instead of ending the standoff peacefully.
.... fucking millennials.
That isn't Oregon... nor anything close to resembling a Ranch. Thanks for playing.
My guess, it is one of those towns they build for drills or filming for a movie. But it sure as shit isn't anything current.
>.... fucking millennials
I bet that little faggot dont even kniw about OJ pongs and slammers. Sgit i remember my teachers turn the classroom TV on for OKC, OJ, and Rodney. Gettin old yo.
Sadly I don't, it's copypasta from here: http://bundyranch.blogspot.hu/2015/11/facts-events-in-hammond-case.html
Hopefully some autist sits down and goes through each point, I would but I have an exam on Wednesday that requires my immediate attention.
can i get a quick brief on what's happening?
who are these people?
did they kill anyone (yet)?
is it good? is it bad?
what are the possible consequences?
thanks! pic unrelated
There are still green leaves on the trees
YOU FUCKERS FELL FOR IT.
It's currently january, snowy, and below freezing in this part of the world.
I'm 2 hrs from malheur and it was 5 degrees yesterday.
>BLM habitually forces ranchers from their homes and properties
>Hammonds say no, keep their land
>BLM makes their lives miserable for it
>A wild... wildfire appears
>Hammonds light a backfire to save their land
>Wind up putting out entire wildfire
>BLM has them arrested and charged as domestic terrorists
>The two that did it serve their time peacefully, return to ranching
>BLM has a shitfit and files appeal
>Judge mysteriously agrees that they have to go back to jail for a 'crime' they already paid their dues for
>Bunch of ranchers and Cliven Bundy's retee son show up to protest
>Wind up getting their guns and (nonviolently) storming a .gov building.
>They're all adamant that they don't want to hurt anyone, but can't trust the police to resolve the situation peacefully, so they need to protect themselves.
>Happen to agree with the last bit.
Well, sort of. Expext some high profile hits on politicians. They wont know what hit them. Their guard will call in sick, go out for a smoke. In and out in 2 minutes. Only thing left is a corpse.
Have they killed anyone? No
Have they hurt anyone? No
Have they blew up anything? No
Leave them be to be honest. Left wingers are idiots and seem to think if a man has a gun he's a guaranteed threat and for some reason it always come down to race. Funny eh? The only ones that bring up race are "anti racists" fucking hypocrites.
Where's all this shit about "150 armed white militia members" come from on Twatter? By all accounts the numbers are small and a mixed racial makeup.
Someones trying to start shit and it definitely isn't the whites. Either the Jews or their proxies like BLM and other liberals.
Feds have been aggressively expanding and hunting for cash.
Offenses that were forgiven in the past now get jail time.
They have also been much more aggressive about seizing land and harassing or threatening people who live next to federal land. This has never happened before in our history.
This guy owns a lot of open land bordering on newly grabbed federal land.
He started a fire and it spread to federal land.
He went to prison, served his sentence and was released.
Then the Priesthood decided they needed more sacrifice. Apparently this guy was never supposed to be released, and he was supposed to get a much harsher sentence than what he got, and be declared a terrorist.
In related news a judge was allowed to keep his job but retire quietly after masturbating in public. Our judges used to be good but now they are out of control third world tier garbage.
Our legal system releases violent offenders who are as good as sentenced for future crimes against the same community and there is the double disaster of Mexican and Salvadorean gangs plus ISIS "refugees," but the federal government has decided that the real problem is a white male landowner who already served his time for what was an accident anyway.
Didn't a US Army Manual in 2013 or 2014 have a revised plan to deal with rebels in case of insurrection in the future?
Drone strikes on leaders houses, nation wide raids, house arrest of families and internment of members in isolated camps. It caused a bit of controversy.
The head of the FBI crime lab resigned in disgust over the mishandling of OKCFB evidence and went on a national morning show to explain. The footage is in Noble Lie, a documentary made by Oklahomans who reject the official story, along with evidence from the retired head if the Air Force explosives lab and the lab itself. There are also several suspicious deaths following the bombing including one if a heroic black cop who would not shut up about the multiple explosions (the doc also shows video of multiple evacuations for multiple explosions) and who last message was about being followed.
Twatter is really annoying. How stupid can left wingers truly get?
Spouting about white privilege and all that nonsense and lack of armed response.
They must think that people are being gunned down and buildings blown up or something when in reality its just a bunch of armed men protesting with no violence.
It's trending in the UK and probably US as #OregonUnderAttack.
>Malheur National Wildlife Refuge
Indeed and posting that little nigger wannabe "gangsta" who was shot because he didn't comply with police and raised his gun. it was a justified shooting and the copper was in the right. I feel more sorry for the copper than the family. They should have raised their son better and maybe he'd still be alive.
They also post that Dylan roof guy next to him aswell about him being taken alive whilst the kid was shot dead.
If someone uses Twatter can you post pic related and call them a bunch of idiots?
Feds have been harassing ranchers in western US for the last 100 years, slowly driving them off the land. They're trying to send one of the last holdouts to federal prison for 5 years on trumped up terrorism charges for controlled-burn of their land. Militias have occupied some empty federal building in protest. Boot lickers are calling for drone strikes, artillery strikes, blood-of-their-families, et cetera.
How can the hammonds even "go back" to jail legally if time was already served? That's double jeopardy.
>The defendant may not be punished twice for the same offense. In certain circumstances, however, a sentence may be increased. It has been held that sentences do not have the same "finality" as acquittals, and may therefore be reviewed by the courts. Sentence increases may not, however, be made once the defendant has already begun serving his term of imprisonment.
Did a district court seriously do this? The 9th district must be run by monkeys. Just give it to the supreme court, they like to spank those monkeys once in a while.
>Black protesters in Ferguson
>A few get violent, start looting and robbing
>Police escalate the situation
>Police way overescalate the situation
>Everybody calms the fuck down
>Dindus scream "racists police"
>Yatheydids scream "violent niggers!"
>Bundy and co. watched Ferguson
>Learned how the police overreact to antiauthoritarianism
>Decide not to be target practice
>Meanwhile police learn from Ferguson to cool shit way down
>Don't respond as violently
>Dindus scream "Police is racist for not murdering protesters!"
>Yatheydids scream jack shit cause they're in teh right.
the amount of people on facebook news posts saying the government should kill the "militia" is freaking scary. probably all shillary voters.
anyone else like me? im first and for most hoped rand would be pres, obvi not gonna happen so now im for bernie. and mildly in support of these stupid rednecks?
I think Trump could easily use this as a opportunity to show off his negotiation skills. He could bargain with them, while being civil and respecting their right to arm, maybe promise a pardon/work to fix laws. This could be big for him, but wouldn't touch him at all if he chose to ignore it.
I have to honestly ask. How does one go from a fake libertarian to a fake communist? Take my bias out and lets say they are real. How does one go from libertarian to communist in the same election cycle? What wild event happened in your life to make you have such a short and amazing transformation?
No it didn't, it was so magnificently messed up that they needed to do OKC to generate sympathy. Waco and Ruby Ridge happened when people in general had no idea what the militia movement or constitutionalism were and had the effect of giving them free publicity. People are now much more awake. It was a total failure the first time but it would be a government-threatening disaster if it occurred now.
It's simple. The guy in question is lying and can change his convictions as often as necessary because he doesn't really believe in them. The past two presidential administrations have been effectively dominated by neocons, who are Trotskyites in deep cover as aggressionist conservatives. Alan Greenspan was once the most outspoken and eloquent opponent to central banking and they bought him off.
Almost all of South America is dominated by what they call "bolivarianism".
It's the closest thing to soviet communism that exist and we pretty much take orders from Cuba.
This is how fucked up the things are around here.
This is some hilariously weak shit to be starting armed insurrection over.
>The jury, not understanding the customs and cultures of the area, influenced by the prosecutors for 6 straight days, very exhausted, pushed for a verdict by the judge, unaware of the ramification of convicting someone as a terrorist, made a verdict and went home.
TIL local cultures and customs are an important part of federal law and people don't know what what kind of punishment terrorists would get in 2006.
>However, the federal courts convicted them both as "Terrorist" under the 1996 Antiterrorism Act. Judge Hogan sentenced Dwight (Father) to 3 months in prison and Steven (son) to 12 months in federal prison. They were also stipulated to pay $400,000 to the BLM. Hogan overruling the minimum terrorist sentence, commenting that if the full five years were required it would be a violation of the 8th amendment (cruel and unusual punishment).
Wow, the fucking feds really were out for that guy. Holy shit a 3 month sentence for terrorism. How fucking inhumane.
> Mandatory minimum reinstated on appeal. Supremes didn't want it.
Even if you take everything on their side for granted, there is still the whole 'rule of law' thing that is pretty important. Also, they were convicted of arson not fucking terrorism you dumb twat.
Wasn't that "mountain man" thing also about grazing fees? #notallranchers
To all the statist armchair generals out there with this fetishized notion of some television-esque federal SWAT team coming in and mopping up the evil white rednecks: you don't know shit. Not one person with an ounce of battlefield knowledge or experience would think that routing 150+ well-armed, well-equipped, well-trained (and in many cases battle-hardened) fighters with high moral and high resolve, from a dug-in position with a terrain advantage would be easy. Suggesting as much makes you look like an infantile stooge at best, and a whimpering, cum-guzzling cuckold at worst. Go sit at he kids table and let the adults who understand history talk.
After Bundy Ranch -- which was previously an almost unthinkable outcome, one which dealt a huge blow to the illusion of absolute state power -- I'm not sure they (by their own calculus) can afford to let this one go. In that same vein, if the Feds were to resort to violence, that'll be but one more mark against their legitimacy, and one more nail in their coffin. The problem is that, increasingly so, government is being staffed by people who've never had to make hard decisions and altogether lack the capacity for it. Instead of a government consisting primarily of wise old men, many of whom having fought in wars and lived through depressions, government is now often staffed by soccer moms, sycophants, affirmative action recipients, neutered cuckfags and legitimate psychopaths -- it's no longer a safe assumption that cool heads will prevail, the only thing contravening their incompetence is their lack of willpower.
>TIL local cultures and customs are an important part of federal law and people don't know what what kind of punishment terrorists would get in 2006.
Customs and culture being the controlled burning of their lands as a completely valid and widespread practice for land management.
>Wow, the fucking feds really were out for that guy. Holy shit a 3 month sentence for terrorism. How fucking inhumane.
He shouldn't have been charged under terrorism laws with a mandatory 5 year sentence to begin with.
>Even if you take everything on their side for granted, there is still the whole 'rule of law' thing that is pretty important. Also, they were convicted of arson not fucking terrorism you dumb twat.
Holy shit all that boot polish you've been licking must have killed quite a few brain cells.
>Wasn't that "mountain man" thing also about grazing fees? #notallranchers
Yes you stupid faggot, they were actively and maliciously trying to push the ranchers off their property by increasing their fees until they could no longer stay and were forced to sell their land to the feds. Why is this so hard to understand?
Malheur National Wildlife Refuge was established on August 18, 1908 by President Theodore Roosevelt as the Lake Malheur Reservation. Roosevelt set aside unclaimed government lands encompassed by Malheur, Mud and Harney Lakes “as a preserve and breeding ground for native birds.” The newly established “Lake Malheur Reservation” was the 19th of 51 wildlife refuges created by Roosevelt during his tenure as president. At the time, Malheur was the third refuge in Oregon and one of only six refuges west of the Mississippi.
This angers me
Ryan Bundy said there were no hostages, but the group is demanding that the Hammonds be released and the federal government relinquish control of the Malheur National Forest.
He said many would be willing to fight — and die, if necessary — to defend what they see as constitutionally protected rights for states, counties and individuals to manage local lands.
>Pol supporting this scum
>implying teddy wouldn't have been there doing the same after seeing what the federal government has become
i puked at the bowling alley last week, that was pretty wild.
Guessing they're going to do what the did the first time.
Pussy out because they're going up against armed battle hardened military veterans instead of some jesus hippies.
It's not that the police / swat teams / etc.. can't remove them if they unleashed everything they have. It's not because they have no resolve, or are pussies..
It's because they probably side more with the militia men ideologically, don't believe in the federal government's agenda, and are not willing to kill or die for it.
I feel like the "multicultural left" in the US has too much confidence in their ability to manipulate their police and military into shooting at their fathers, brothers and sons.
That's where I read it at. It also has more sauce at that link. This isn't just about the fire as people can see. It's the federal government overstepping its bounds.
You left out the part that the Feds fenced off the water source for their animals which wasn't on federal property. They also levied the public water source so it flooded and destroyed a lot of ranches so they could buy up the land for cheap.
Without BLM we could not camp or ride dirtbikes out in the wilderness. It would all be fenced off by land barons who would kill you for walking across it.
Fuck these assholes! God bless the BLM.
We have several canisters of CM-20. I say we go back in there and nerve gas the whole fuckin' nest.
