Hamptons Howie or his show hasn't been decent in a decade. He's abandoned the shit that made him popular and is now full SJW retard mode. Artie leaving was the beginning of the end.

My favorite lazy thing to do is listen to older Stern on youtube while browsing /pol/. They've got full shows that are 4 hrs long. Some classics include the 9/11 show and 9/12 show. I also like his goofs on Will Smith, Kirk Cameron, Oprah. I already know people will hate on him for his current stuff but dude is old now. He's given us decades of great material so cut him some slack.

1) When Artie attempted suicide and left the show it was devastating for the Stern show. Howard lost his buddy who he could banter with. The show hasn't recovered since.
2) Howard has always been jealous of Jay Leno. That's been the root of his hatred toward the man. Howard, the bad boy antihero, has always craved the acceptance of middle America.
3) Howard re-married to Beth. She has been slowly, and with great subtle notes, changing his entire personality. A while back he actually cried for his listeners to give a shit for feral cats.

Never heard of him til Private Parts, his semi-biographical movie. A now deceased buddy and I probably went to see it in theatres 10 times when we were like 12. Dat young Jenna Jameson, dat girl busting her titties out of her shirt riding the radio speaker... good times.

I'd watch some on E! back in the day, but it was never too great. Then by the time he got his own On Demand channel I was hardcore into Opie, Anthony, Jimmy & Patrice.

He's always been a degenerate jew perv though, who somehow got away with asking girls insanely personal questions they'd never answer to any other media member brave enough to ask. Basically the first shock jock, but not really relevant for the last decade. I always found his "whack pack" of literal retards cringeworthy and off putting, so even I can admit I hated it when O&A did the same thing with some of their awful non-Comedian regulars.

Artie always seemed cool though, he probably singlehandedly kept Stern's show relevant for years.

The sublime in comedy is involving satire and jokes around the taboo and restricted areas in society. Stern had his funny moments when he was on national radio, but he became banal with his routines and basically ruined part of the contextual fun of listening to him by signing up to Satellite radio which allows him to go unrestricted.
