>SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - The U.S. National Security Agency has figured out how to hide spying software deep within hard drives made by Western Digital, Seagate, Toshiba and other top manufacturers, giving the agency the means to eavesdrop on the majority of the world's computers, according to cyber researchers and former operatives.

Sucks for the kikes who own Seagate. Just bought a Seagate hard drive today....going to return it tomorrow.

I don't want the goddamn fucking traitors in the regime government illegally spying on me.

Wow, why do these traitors in Washington DC hate our American freedoms so much for?

Thanks OP!

It's not just Seagate
It's Western Digital and Toshiba as well
Aka. all the current Hard Drive manufacturers, they are the only ones left
>>
>>41638097
>

Kaspersky's reconstructions of the spying programs show that they could work in disk drives sold by more than a dozen companies, comprising essentially the entire market. They include Western Digital Corp, Seagate Technology Plc, Toshiba Corp, IBM, Micron Technology Inc and Samsung Electronics Co Ltd.

It probably affects SSD's as well, specially since these usually need firmware updates from time to time
>>
Can anyone intelligently answer why the US government is systematically destroying the US Constitution for?

Why do they hate our American freedoms for?

How is living in America any better than living in Russia now? We've got the same secret police, and they hate us with a passion.

Why are we paying an arm and a leg to live in America when we could live in Eastern Europe or Russia for much much much cheaper (and still have the same type of government that spies on you and hates your freedoms)?

Anyone want to venture a guess when the bloodless coup was performed upon Washington DC and our government turned into the freedom-hating regime that it currently is?
>>
>>41638010
Again, what's new?
>>
>>41638155
No escape, the other ones where passive and worked mostly at the service level, in worst case software level, you could easily avoid them through using secure software and secure communications
This ones work from hardware, you now are forced to encrypt your hard drive

It will continue to get worse until something too big to ignore happens. Something like the NSA/CIA openly assassinates a president or threatens Congress for not giving them what they want or maybe a major terrorist attack happens that the three letter agencies missed, leading to the question of why they collect all this data when they can't even put it to effective use.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if the NSA and maybe even the CIA are self funding through stock market manipulation. They have all the access they need to commit insider trading on an epic scale. With no congressional oversight, the ability to dump dirt on any president that would get them removed from office, and self funding they would be completely above the government. Only the military could step in and stop them... maybe.

They are already coming for me

I have been under FBI gang stalking ever since they knock on my door to ask me questions about the photos that were published on 4chan??? wtf....

After that ever street i turn or every where i go it can be at 4 AM at night when no one is around there always an agents there following me always.

When i go out to a bar and get drunk they like to pay people to pick fights with me or flash a gun at me.

Then they follow me back home and call the cops near by to harass me.

I know all of their tactics they hire your co-works and pretty much anyone in your circle to rat on you or get you fired.

They will go extreme levels of harassment just to fuck with you daily.

Just last week at my store everything was dirty and something leaked on the floor making everyhing sticky

and guess who the manager blame?
me.
After looking at the security cameras they saw someone at night while all the lights were off was trashing the place.

and i know it was a coworker who got paid to sabotage me for no reason.

Be aware that once your in their list they will do everything to destroy your friends circle or your finances...

Remember that guy that was illegally camping and was shot and killed? well the reason why he was camping could be because of these type of harassment.

I'm not alone here.

I met a few people from Australia who have the same problem and a guy i met in my town was on FBI gang stalking list as well and lost his computer business and all of his clients and had court dates because he was using a copy of windows that he got it off torrent... but he was using the windows key his clients had but it doesn't matter the FBI will find anything to arrest or harass you.

Remember that mp3 file you downloaded? that will give them reasons to go after you as well.

When darwin shattered the enlightenment; by extension the foundation for western civilization was also shattered. Humans are apart of the animal kingdom. There is no blank slate/tabla rasa. All men are not created equal in the image of god.

They dont believe in the rightness of the constitution because the assumptions of the founding fathers has been undermined by material reductionist science.

Humans are no longer divinely equal in the image of god; which puts into question the rights of man.

Im not a religious man, but I have come to learn that pure reason cannot determine fundamental values. Fundamental values are determined by a shared faith.(Doesnt have to be Yahweh)

Yuri Benezmov concludes the same in his lecture.

Just look at all examples in history
The USA is the world power right now, it naturally wants to keep it that way. It will do everything any other imperium also did.
Spying, controlling oil and other important resources, having oil companies primarily deal in dollar, controlling the dollar through the federal reserve, military bases in all the world, biggest military, etc.

Are you really surprised they do all this?

Your point was that some standard anti virus would have detected it already, when there is none that can.

If you have something worth spying on, this depends if you become important to them at some point in the future.
At which time they have a handy blackmail dossier which was automatically compiled in a database and they have things to fuck you over with.

You shouldn't underestimate how powerful a compilation of your secrets can be to someone who wants to look for ways to fuck with you.

I saw this pic ~4 years ago. I STILL do not understand it. I recognize greek lettering, and there seems to be a group of nations connected to some fucking thing.

Why is everyone so upset about this? If government dislikes you for some reason, it can do literally anything to you anyway, without even needing to spy on your HDD.

>he most infections seen in Iran, followed by Russia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, China, Mali, Syria, Yemen and Algeria. The targets included government and military institutions, telecommunication companies, banks, energy companies, nuclear researchers, media, and Islamic activists, Kaspersky said. >Implying there would be any easier way to spy on these targets
>>
>According to Kaspersky, the spies made a technological breakthrough by figuring out how to lodge malicious software in the obscure code called firmware that launches every time a computer is turned on.

They believe we are children don't they?

probably

what they're doing is hiding passwords or other logged info into a sector on your hard drive then labelling that sector as a bad sector

So humanity, it appears that Horus has defected and is trying to portray the Imperial administration as malevolent and overbearing.

How can you not trust us? Have we not protected you? Have we not kept the Orkish hordes at bay long enough for you to live out your pathetic little lives? Do we not give you the freedom to fornicate as you please and choose what style of pigpen you live in?

Our power must be expanded in order for you to maintain the standard of living that you are accustomed to. Our systems of administration will become increasingly complex. Those of you who are not software engineers are already unable to understand how we watch you and what we are going to do with the information.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

No one. We are above the law and we are above you. We are the Illuminati. Most of you have become fat and soft. Your testosterone levels are at an all time low. You are the most docile subjects that any Imperator has ruled.

You know you will go quietly. You know that when the key is turned on this tyrrany you will not protest. You will be too busy enjoying the thousands of simple and complex pleasures we have made for you in this wasteland. You will amuse yourselves to death as we shackle you.

Those of you young enough to read this will not be that alarmed by the changes to come in your lifetimes. Public institutions have been run as tyrannies for generations and a substantial minority of you come from countries that already have despotism. You have already been conditioned to accept what is coming.

But is there any one thus intended by nature to be a slave, and for whom such a condition is expedient and right, or rather is not all slavery a violation of nature?

There is no difficulty in answering this question, on grounds both of reason and of fact. For that some should rule and others be ruled is a thing not only necessary, but expedient; from the hour of their birth, some are marked out for subjection, others for rule.
