It is often easy to get fixated on current happenings in such a way that we lose focus of not only past happenings but the greater happening at play...

>Obama talks of war with Syria amidst a Syrian rebellion and claims of Syria's Government using nerve gas on civilians
>Many do not want war, some are skeptical about claims that the Syrian Government used nerve gas, and others have suggested that the Syrian Rebels are U.S. founded, backed or both.
>Many in the international community (particularly Russia) are tired of U.S. campaigns and general involvement in the middle east.
>Obama threatens to invade Syria, the U.S. is on the verge of a new war.
>Putin sick of Obama's shit basically says "yo nigga ya touch Assad's boipussy imma get up in ya juicy wit muh dick"
>The U.S. and Russia are now on the verge of war
>Obama backs down

sometime later...

>Euromaidan protests in Ukraine quickly turn violent throwing the whole country into revolution, a revolution which could lead to Ukraine becoming part of the E.U. and abandoning much of its relations and history with Russia
>There are rumors of U.S. involvement prior to the revolution, some claim to have even seen Black Water mercenaries present when the protests became violent.
>Russia is faced with losing a buffer nation and warm water ports among other resources
>Putin backs pro-Russian Ukrainian rebels
>Russia is thrown into a diplomatic shitstorm and has become more or less tied down with the Ukrainian situation.

even later...

>A new radical islamic group emerges in the middle east under the name: ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria)
>ISIS is said to have rose to power during the Syrian civil war
>There are rumors of ISIS being U.S. founded, backed or both.
>ISIS quickly becomes all the rage with much success in Iraq
>ISIS beheads a American journos
>Obama announces "America will lead a broad coalition to roll back this terrorist threat". and threatens to attack Syria once again.

Well played wasn't it?

Whether or not ISIS is Fed funded or not is irrelevant at this point. In either case, the United States is going to milk the ISIS situation for an opportunity to establish a presence on Syrian soil after last year's absolute failure. If you listen to all the analysts, pundits, journalists and generals, they're all spreading the same message, "ISIS cannot be stopped without intervention in Syria."
It's honestly a little terrifying to see how public opinion has shifted on American presence in Syria with the introduction of this convenient boogeyman.

wait so obama covertly started a rebellion in Syria to invade Syria overtly but was stopped by russia, and then covertly started a revolution in ukraine to distract the russias so he can go back after Syria?

interesting but why would he need to secretly start up ISIS then?
>>
>>35608656
He really didn't. They were already fighting Assad, so they just called themselves something new. Shit so this has been going on since the USSR and Afghanistan
>>
>>35608656

because the Syrian Civil War and issues with nerve gas have fallen out of the public mind. we needed to create a new and greater threat that would grab Americans' attention and justify a war with Syria all over again.

The success and "beheadings" of ISIS has done just that and now americans are more interested in war even if only slightly more than before.

HAAHHAHAHAHAA

Your memory only goes back one presidency. Absolutely fucking pathetic.
>>
>>35608656

He probably didn't create ISIS. They started as Al-Qaida in Iraq during the Bush administration. All Obama had to do was make sure they grew and posed a big enough threat that would justify the US getting involved in the region again.

I think it was Cheney who said that they had fixed things so that the next president couldn't withdraw from Iraq.

Obama's goal - or whoever is manipulating things - wants Assad gone. That's the goal. The chemical weapons didn't pan out and Russia was cock blocking the US, so Russia is tied down and a new excuse is created.
>>
>>35608656
What actually happened was the guys we fought in Iraq, when we pulled out, were allowed to blossom into a "new" (HUEHUEHUE) organization with almost the exact same name as their previous organization, by tag teaming across the border and taking advantage of the chaos in Syria as well.

The morons who think IS is new and manufactured by the west find it a total coincidence that the guys we fought in Iraq were named Islamic State in Iraq and that it blossomed into ISIS very shortly after we almost fully left Iraq. They are as stupid as the people who think it was Assad that created Islamic State.

Though it is also true that both Assad and the west have attempted to manipulate IS for their own purposes.

>Islamic State in *

Islamic State of *

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_State_of_Iraq_and_the_Levant

the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS /?aJsJs/)

>new

It is new

>SIS is the successor to Tanzim Qaidat al-Jihad fi Bilad al-Rafidayn—later commonly known as al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI)—formed by Abu Musab Al Zarqawi in 1999

>During the 2003–2011 Iraq War, it joined other Sunni insurgent groups to form the Mujahideen Shura Council and consolidated further into the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI /?aJsJ/).

>ISIS had close links to al-Qaeda until February 2014 when, after an eight-month power struggle, al-Qaeda cut all ties with the group, reportedly for its brutality and "notorious intractability".

>A caliphate was proclaimed on 29 June 2014, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi—now known as Amir al-Mu'minin Caliph Ibrahim—was named as its caliph, and the group was renamed the Islamic State

It has origins in older groups but ISIS is a break away and something new

People who take Putin's propaganda about himself seriously always make me a little disappointed. What is it that makes me people so gullible when it comes to him? Any other propaganda, like from Obama, is easily seen through.
>>
>>35609950

>Also what does this have to do with the actual message that OP is trying to get across?

Its the same old "its a brand new organization created by the west," indicative of someone whose knowledge of history is that of a person who turned eighteen during Obama's presidency, otherwise he'd be aware we've been fighting these guys (despite their constant Blackwater-esque rebranding).

Obama's push against Assad halted when it was realized the rebels probably did the ultra-convenient gas attacks.

The same old terrorists given free reign of the area assumed more control, to the surprise of no one who has been over there, but to the great surprise of those who turned eighteen during Obama's presidency and hence whose memories of events during the prior presidency are fuzzy in the extreme.

Its particularly yawnworthy when polls indicate the majority of Americans questioned (64%+) support straight up coordination with the Assad regime and most of the rest support limited strings attached armistices with Assad.

If the goal is to attack Syria, creating a "totally new" (ahahaha) terrorist organization when they already have a western shill controlled terrorist organization aimed at taking down Assad (FSA) that has taken significant losses (and vice versa), including the first basketball american IS death, to IS.

Why exactly the west needs -two- western controlled shill squads is unclear, why exactly the west can't bother to have MSM focus on Assad's limited dealings with IS to try to blur them together is unclear, why exactly they don't have their shill squads focus fire on Assad instead of killing each other is unclear, why exactly Obama needs permission to attack Syria but not Libya is unclear; if the goal is to appease Russia, its an absolutely fucking dismal failure. If the goal is to kill reservations against attacking Assad, its an absolutely fucking dismal failure as the effect is the opposite.

good post
>>
>>35611322
What? You've never heard of the willing suspension of disbelief?
>>
>>35611002

The problem with your analysis is that you don't take control into account. The US can secretly provide training and funds, but what the terrorists chose to do with it is somewhat out of Obabo's hands. So the whole quagmire with these two different terrorist groups could be explained by a lack of control from the US, and the fact that Muslims have been killing each other forever.

OR you could even argue that this quagmire works even more in our favor than if the terrorists united and steamrolled. What if the USA's REAL policy in the Middle East is just to destabilize EVERYTHING? Also, I believe OP forgot to mention Israel bombing Syria for shits and giggles (I mean because they have terror missiles or something). Does that fit in the the destabilizing theory?

The facts are that the USA has been secretly training the goatlovers since the 70's and right now I'm just as inclined to believe ISIS is the same deal. In fact it seems even more likely when you consider that ISIS is a group that is suddenly using new film propaganda tactics. Where did this idea come from? It reeks of CIA and friends.
>>
>>35611002

>Why exactly the west needs -two- western controlled shill squads is unclear,

The don't have two controlled squads. ISIS is predictable, but not under direct control. FSA is needed because that's where the replacement government will come from. ISIS is needed because Assad hasn't done anything big enough to justify an invasion. But ISIS has, and if ISIS is in Syria, then we have an excuse to invade. Assad can be taken down in the process and someone friendly from FSA can be propped up.
>>
>>35611002

you didn't address his question at all, you basically just said
>hur dur you young and ignant

>Obama's push against Assad halted when it was realized the rebels probably did the ultra-convenient gas attacks.

lol yea ok it had nothing to do with Putin threatening war with the U.S.

>"totally new" (ahahaha)

lol nobody said that. OP said "new" not "TOTALLY NEW XD", and yes "ISIS" is new even if its roots are not (it has also severed many of its roots).

and again this has nothing to do with what OP was trying to say, even if ISIS was old as shit it doesn't mean the U.S. did not fund or back it in someway to allow for its recent rise to power.

You are sperging out over an irrelevant point in the OP (a point that you are wrong about) and derailing the thread over it. get back to the point or fuck off and read a book.

And then their President nullified Parliament and has held "emergency" elections....
>>
For very little cost to them (a knife and two journalists), ISIS is able to get America to commit billions of dollars toward wiping them out.

America spends until it hurts, then spends some more. Overall, it achieves very little in regards to ending the ISIS threat. It does, however, manage to drain American coffers and breeds contempt toward America due to the bombing, civilian causalities and displacement of locals.

ISIS numbers swell due to displaced people with a grudge and America continues down the economic toilet.

All for the cost of knife and two journalists.

>10 September: After ISIL had outraged American opinion by beheading two American journalists and had seized control of large portions of Syria and Iraq in the face of ineffective opposition from American allies, President Obama decided on a new objective for a rollback policy in the Middle East. He announced: "America will lead a broad coalition to roll back this terrorist threat. Our objective is clear: We will degrade, and ultimately destroy, ISIL through a comprehensive and sustained counterterrorism strategy".

>ISIS's biggest enemy is Assad
>ISIS's current goal is to topple Assad and complete their Syria contest (Al Sham in ISIS stands for Syria, as Syria is their prime target)
>Retarded Obongo, instead of allying himself with Assad to take down this enemy, decides instead to SUPPORT the ISIS by supplying the FSA with top-grade weapons the FSA
>Retarded Obongo STILL does not know that in Assad's territory, the FSA and the ISIS are both allies who fight against a common enemy, and they will share their American weapons to fight Assad.

I have a small question, how fucking retarded can you be to take a decision like this, I mean literally, how fucking mentally defective do you need to be to not understand Obama just wants Assad gone, with the ISIS being his best ally in this situation?

Obama has confirmed he will supply the FSA with weapons, he might as well confirm he's directly support the ISIS since the FSA will for sure share their weapons with the ISIS assuming they're both fighting against Assad.

>Putin is a retard who drags himself into situations that causes him to lose the ability to pressure the US
>This is some massive secret scheme probably orchestrated by the Jews

Russia could easily be a superpower if they were willing to no purposely start shit with the US and tried to become economic and political allies. China is fucking prospering while Russia slowly dies because China is willing to trade with the US and doesn't arbitrarily back actively hostile states. The worst thing China does to oppose the US is backing North Korea which is more hilarious than threatening.

Instead Putin has a retarded ideology where the cold war is still going on and the only way for Russia to prosper is to try and avoid ever having any economic or political relations with the western devils or the filthy Chinese. Instead Russia ends up working with fucking India on military projects because no one else wants to put up with their shit.

No I believe they are actual happenings and unrelated

I just believe that the Syrian Rebels were U.S. instigated and backed, to invade Syria. The Ukrainian uprising was U.S. instigated ( insofar as outbreak of violence) to distract and tie up Russia. That the ISIS was U.S. funded, supplied and possibly even founded. The beheadings were U.S. psyops.

All to allow for an invasion of Syria.
Why all this for Syria?

I have no fucking idea, but it is clear our "leaders" have been hellbent on invading this country and Iran. maybe it is as this anon suggested:

>Euromaidan protests in Ukraine quickly turn violent throwing the whole country into revolution,
>There are rumors of U.S. involvement prior to the revolution,

It's not rumors, it's high-level Jewish officials within the Obama administration gloating and admitting to the fact that they destabilized Ukraine and caused a shitstorm in Putin's back year.

Listen to the uncensored leaked phone call between Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and the US ambassador to the Ukraine, in which they're micromanaging which puppet they're going to install in the Ukraine government after the crisis topples the legitimate one.

Look up Victoria Nuland's speech to US Jewish business leaders a week later in February of 2014, in which she admits the US government funded $5 billion toward "pro-Western" NGOs over the past decade.

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. It's the US that is out starting shit with various countries (Iraq did not attack US, Libya did not attack US, Syria did not attack US, etc. etc.) and the Russians - often, though not always - are trying to stop the US from being the world's bully. The Chinese are frequently the Russian's ally in this, although they don't "back" NK as you seem to think. The Chinese tolerate NK's antics because of proximity. Russia and China have signed some very large trade deals recently.

Wikipedia mentions FSA fighting ISIS.

>The Free Syrian Army is moderate, secular and backed by the United States with weapons and training. The FSA has been described as a proxy of the United States. [43] In recent months these weapons have included advanced American made BGM-71 TOW anti-tank missiles.[44] The FSA is in stark contrast with groups such as Jabhat al-Nusra which have been designated as terrorist by several Western countries;[45] this has led to a rift between the secular forces fighting the Syrian government and al-Qaeda linked groups such as al-Nusra and ISIS, often resulting in deaths.[46][47]

I didn't claim ISIS was US backed, I said FSA was.

Here's an older article about FSA offering to join the government army to fight ISIS. At this point they were still calling for Assad to resign, but I believe they dropped that precondition at some point.

> Idriss didn’t demand as a precondition that President Bashar al-Assad resign before negotiations begin. Instead, he said, Assad’s departure should come “at the end of negotiations.” This position was echoed by Monzer Akbik, a spokesman for the Syrian Opposition Council, the moderate rebels’ political arm.

>Idriss stressed the threat posed by the al-Qaeda affiliate known as the “Islamic State of Iraq and Syria,” or ISIS. He said that the group was “very dangerous for the future of Syria” and that, after Assad’s departure, the Free Syrian Army would be ready to join the regular Syrian army in fighting them.

>Idriss said the Free Syrian Army is trying to fight a two-front war, battling al-Qaeda fighters at 24 locations over the past six months and fighting Assad’s army. The CIA is said to be training about 200 fighters for Idriss each month, though the commander wouldn’t acknowledge this support.
