Seeing as you love dictators, what do you guys think of Bashar-Al Assad?
>Seeing how you guys hate faggots, what do you guys think of OP?
>Number of Americans beheaded under Assad: 0
>Number of terrorist attacks threatened by Assad: 0
>Number of Christians and religious minorities massacred by Assad in online videos: 0
He's Gaddafi's all over again
Assad was democratically elected, although from what I gather he does rule in a more authoritarian way which, considering the circumstances in Syria, is understandable.
Also, lurk moar. Assad is probably /pol/'s favourite current leader.
Keeps the Islamists in line
Has a central bank which is not owned by the Rothschilds
What is not to like about based Al-Assad?
>Number of radical snackbar crying Islamic kebab scum removed by Assad: countless
Good luck, Assad!
he's based as fuck. tortures islamists, gives gradual concessions to liberal democrats, and behaves incredibly reasonably in response to western/zionist/arab aggression
i wish assad all the luck and thank him greatly for protecting Christian minority and the rich history of Syria.
I can't think of any leader I like more at the moment.
JIDF pls leave. You have been shilling against Assad for years. Why don't you just give up?
I say that but then they bring up the ol ''B-but Assad used gas!''
When I say that the rebels also use chemical weapons(http://www.globalresearch.ca/syria-un-mission-report-confirms-that-opposition-rebels-used-chemical-weapons-against-civilians-and-government-forces/5363139) They deny that shit
>Eye doctor, means he's tender and cares for peoples wellbeing
>brings western values to shithole desert
>wife is more European than Arab
>great sense of style
>wife is more European than Arab
This. Asma a qt.
Wow Assad has fine taste in women.
I have no idea why are arab dictators (and arabs in general) so sectarian.
Saddam loved sunnis and had sunnis everywhere and persecuted shias. Al-Maliki loved shias and persecuted sunnis. Assad like shias (well, Alawis, which is shia-light) and persecuted sunnis. Sauds are sunnis and persecute shias.
I mean what the fuck? It's mostly the same thing. Yeah, one of them like Ali, the other don't, but still, it's retarded.
Arabs aren't sectarian by nature, but I speak as a Christian.
We were forced into semi-artificial divisions by the Great Powers. Now, the Jews' biggest nightmare would be a united Arab state. Don't forget that in World War I the Brits promised King Whoever that he would have a kingdom from Iraq to Palestine. Of course the Jews can't have that.
Daily reminder that you can't Mossad the Assad.
Pretty sure Assad is Phoenician (Most Alawaites are).
Which means he is a white man in a sandnigger world.
So how are you gonna celebrate his birthday, /pol/?
They already are blaming Assad for it.
They are even claiming Assad is working with ISIS.
Dunno. I feel that I should commemorate it though.
if his brother didn't die he'd be an eye doctor in Britain right now
he was nearly certified when shit went down
and on another note I can't believe fags like John McCain are stilllll saying we should have took him down. That doing that would have somehow lessened the rise of ISIS
Shame his brother died. He was groomed to lead. Bashar had to just make do.
bashar al-KALB and hezbSHAYTAN are kuffar of the worst kind.
Hes a dirty alawite cultist who blives in magic rituals and dark sorceries like kabalists and jews. Shia are false apostates and jew allies.
True Islam is wahabi Sunni islam and will be brought to earth, Insh'Allah by Dawla Islamiyya.
Well, some of the rebels were kind of all right, but then ISIS took hold and there are now almost no normal rebels left.
Right now, al-nusra is the "more moderate" rebel group which is hilarious because they belong to al-qaeda.
His wife is pure waifu material. do want!
ISIS shill pls. You are Jew ally.
Then why are the sunni wahabi shits getting funded and supplied by the kikes? You fucking snackbars are kosher Islamists, nothing more.
He's not a bad person but he's controlled by the military junta which has ruled Syria for 50 years. IIRC his brother, the unofficial leader of the armed forces, is a very ruthless man whom even government official are afraid.
He's like a jailer trapped in a prison called Syria
Wouldn't surprise me. Officially anti-Zionist leadership gets assassinated by Mossad is perfectly plausible.
When will he stop being based?
>Arabs aren't sectarian by nature
incorrect, even within islam the tribal nature of arab society is evident. mohammed the prophet died and instantly various factions were politicking and assassinating each other even though mohammed left clear instructions on the live of succession. the unifying tenets of islam were designed to combat this part of arab culture. in the present, yes, western powers exacerbated divisions within arab society to further their own interest but the divisions existed long before the west ever became involved in the middle east. all you have to do is read some arab history.
a modern example is stuff like the six-day war when arab countries proved that were generally incapable of working together.
Bashar is a hero, I have a dozen or so syrian arab army songs on my phone, so motivational.
This is legit the funniest and most awkward conflict in the past 3-4 decades
>Obama antagonizes Syria and basically puts them into the same level as Al-Queda
>mudslings at Russia intensely
>the whole US tells Obama to fuck off of the Syrian invasion
>libs and politicians try so hard to shill but fails
>general public still doesn't understand either way so everything is a clusterfuck for a few months
>USA goes quiet for a short time
>US citizens start getting killed
>anger is starting to creep towards 9/11 levels
>people are starting to say kill ISIS
>Obama probably wants to do this
>realizes he would be allying with Syria and Russia if he sent intervention
>realizes he would look like a total retard and asshole in front of the world if he intervened
he's probably gonna give a bunch of money to the sand niggers and do everything to avoid being allied with Syria and Russia in order to save face
YES GAS THE KUFFIR! SANDNIGGER WAR NOW!
>Over 6 billion jews drwoned in the sea of galilee
My sides are in orbit.
second only to Putin in basedness rating
/pol/ like dictators because there are a lot of stupid virgin autistic neckbeards here and they have inner need to feel somewhat powerful and cool so they align themselves with those dictators imagining they are powerful like them. Sitting safely at moms basement :)
this is the best one!
Nah, the US is known for throwing away satellite groups and countries like trash.
>WE THE US WILL DEFEND YOU AND SAVE YOU FROM EVIL AMERICA FUCK YEAH
>"We have no obligation to protect you, friend. As far as I'm concerned you are a TERRORIST"
>sends bombers and wrecks nation
I like this one.
assad is part of the epic resistance that iran, and putin are trying to deliver
the last bastion agains ZOG
others may join (perhaps china) but i fear that chances of victory are slim, specially if china doesn't join
that is a good one.
one time, my friends came round and i left my pc open, they didnt understand why i had many tabs of syrian music and pictures of farage, assad and hitler saved.
It boils down to tribal alliances and religious ideology. On tribal side there's always one tribe that dominates a local region. Those that aren't like them are targeted and oppressed. Then add religion to the mix. Islam comes in many different sects, but two main ones are Sunni and Shi'ate. The distinction between the groups is lost to modern Arabs, but it goes back to when Muhammed died. One group believed that one his sons should lead and the other group believed a general should lead.
So not only you have tribal identity but there's religious ideology in the mix. Radical Islam comes about when you have bunch youth with nothing to do. Combine that with a few old farts that were trained to fight The Soviets and the idea that back when Muhammad was fucking his 9 year old wife, it was best of times. So they develop a cancerous ideology that Old is New and New is wrong.
Which is why we should just nuke the entire region into a radioactive desert.
This one is pretty good as well.
There is an international brigade fighting for Assad. I have no idea how you get in contact with them.
They are mainly Arab and European Nationalists.
This is true. The way in which he is more authoritarian is that the people lacked civil rights. When he first came into power, some efforts were made for reformation but the corruption within the systems of govt can be difficult to change, especially considering the resistance one might face when challenging, let alone attempting to change, the status quo. An example of this would be the Syrian Secret Service and their long reach and abuse of power. This goes without mentioning the context of the entire region and the lack of an overseeing Sunni power structure.
It's not that Arabs are inherently sectarian. Only recently did sectarian divisions become an issue. (See Fisk for examples of fuelling sectarian divisions). In 2008, Syria was ranked as one of the (top 10 if I remember correctly) safest countries in the world (correct me if I'm wrong). Shias, Alawites, Sunnis, Christians, Druze... All lived side by side on the same streets, in the same neighbourhoods ands so on. Of course there were disputes here and there, but that's natural in any society, except the label isn't black vs white or natives vs colonials, it's sect vs sect. But since the Middle East is a complex place in which many powers have vested interests, these interests will eventually collide and conflict follows. In summary, when a govt/political group/faction/militia gets in your way, the simplest thing to do is to make an enemy out of it. In other words, sectarian conflict actually has its roots in politics, the power dynamics of the entire region and meddling of superpowers.
Lel. He is maybe half the political operator his dad was. Don't get me wrong, I think he is far better than the alternatives and always have (along with anyone I know IRL who has the first understanding of this shit), he is just a political midget compared to his father.
I wonder if this shit would have got this bad if his brother wasn't kill.
Anybody else think Mossad was involved in making his brother who was trained and groomed for power becoming kill?
Wasn't me who posted this, but definitely underrated post.
He ran a divided country with a lot of outside pressure, kept the drama in Lebanon to a minimum compared to what it could have been, fought against most of the combatants and still came out owning the country for a more than a decade.
Now Syria is a festering sore on the region which has inflamed shit in many surrounding countries (if not all of them).
Who knows. Such is the game of thrones in one of the most dangerous places on the planet. Assad (Snr) sure did fuck the joos off enough times, and I certainly wouldn't put it past them. But they are just one of a long list...
>what do you guys think of Bashar-Al Assad?
Ben Garrison more or less is running the Syrian Army at this point from what I've heard
>Rouhani is better at not attracting attention
He gets lots of attention but it's just not for being batshit and overly idealistic. Ahmedinjad was terrible and all he did was shit on his relations with everyone and fucked his people in the process.
He's a piece of shit and a butcher who killed his own people and rebels indiscriminately...but somehow manages to be better than the fucking alternative (ISIS and co). Lesser evil and all that jazz.
It's more of a tribal thing which is different from sectarian. This is why "bin" which means "son of" and that kind of shit is so popular, even in big cities they are all split between tribes. It's like if in America everybody was at war with people who carry another surname, those fucking Jones faggots would be strong as fuck.
Good luck Assad, you are the only true nobel Arab leader we have left. You make us Arabs feel hope and pride again. You've taken away our despair and relieved us of humiliation and injustice. May you and Nasrallah bring us victory as you have promised and delivered many times before. You are the reason we Arabs can stand with our head high, our dignity intact, proud of our identity, refusing to submit to the global powers that are beginning to recognise who we are and that we are not a people to be trampled on. The glory of our Ummah you are, President Bashar Al-Assad and Sayed Hassan Nasrallah.
